We had booked a room with a view, actually there was a tree outside the hotel covering most of the view. Fortunally the view to the old town could be admired when stepping out to the balcony.

The reception, the breakfast and employees service was minimum. The room at the 1st floor was not with the port view but it was enough spacious and clean. The hotel is well located to visit the city center by foot. On the other hand there is a nice flatroof with nice view

Das Zimmer war extrem klein, es war wohl ursprünglich ein Einzelzimmer; und dafür war der preis definitiv zu hoch. Die Schlüsselanlage hat nicht funktioniert, sodass jedesmal eine Person vom desk die Gäste ins Zimmer begleiten musste. Die angekünigte dachterasse war nicht gut eingerichtet und vor allem gab es keinen Service oben, obwohl wir gerne etwas getrunken hätten. Die Lage des hotels fand ich aber sehr schön !

The hotel is very modern and quite different. The location is good, bit of a trek to the Ramblas but a nice walk as it is along the seafront. Very close to the beach. Not too far from the nearest metro but again a bit far with suitcases. Breakfast a bit overpriced but very nice. Skybar is a really nice place to sit in the evening, view is fab.

Excellent location, hotel was welcoming and clean and the rooftop bar was beatiful if quiet.Also the communal areas smelt very smoky. Rooms were stylish and modern if on the small side (exactly like the pictures on the website), but missing a minibar and the mattresses on the beds were very firm. Also the double was two single mattresses so hard to avoid falling in the gap. I would have given a higher rating for a more comfortable nights sleep.

Hotel was tacky with colored lights in each room, but service was good and the rooms were clean. The location was ideal for the beach and the old city. A bit touristy, but not sleezy. One complaint is that internet service was not working the entire time we were there and no effort was made to fix it. To their credit the staff let us use their computers to read email etc. Overall I would stay in the hotel again if the rate was about 25% lower. The hotel has a popular rooftop bar too.

By airplane
From the Barcelona-El Prat international airport, take the L10 RENFE local train for 5 stops to Estació de França. Then take bus n. 39 Barceloneta/Horta and step off after 3 stops at Pg. Joan de Borbó-Almirall Aixada.
