Best Western Hôtel Atrium - Arles

We spent 4 nights at the Best Western Atrium in mid-May. We chose it because of its location just outside the old town of Arles and were not disappointed with the location - a few minutes walk away from the amphitheatre and Place du Forum for example. The hotel is what one would expect from a chain and our room was comfortable and generally quiet and well serviced. The staff varied from quite nice to grumpy when asked for assistance. We didnt use the restaurant nor the rooftop pool so cant comment on them. Be aware that this hotel has 90 rooms so is used by coachloads of tour groups, though they caused us no concern.

Very good location, helpful staff

Generally positive experience, the location was excellent, just across the road from the old town. We didn't require much from the hotel's amenities, just a central and quiet place to stay, and that was fine. I was alone but booked a double room, which would have been rather small for a couple but alone it was fine. We requested car parking on reservation, got no reply but were told it was full when I called - regardless it is much cheaper and just as convenient to park at the public "Parking du Centre", just across the road, 7.60€ per day as opposed to 12€ at the hotel. Don't come if you want a typical place full of personal service, Provençal soul and character as there is none (the restaurant was always empty even on the weekend), but for convenience, cleanliness and efficiency it's perfect.

Good quality hotel close to the centre of Arles, though not in the old town. The small rooftop pool was a delight as we were there during a heatwave. Breakfast is good and worth having, though get down early if you want the scrambled egg!

Very small rooms ... Nice pool and excellent location. 75 € for one night is expensive !

Ottimo Hotel, moderno, pulito, personale cortese e disponibile. Posizione ottima: letteralmente a 4 passi dal centro, parcheggio sotterraneo, in una città davvero bella e caratteristica come Arles. Consigliato!

The hotel have no lift to go to reception, it's not easy to carry the cradle and the suitecase

Our rooms were adequate. The breakfast buffet was good. The hotel restaurant was uninspired in contrast with the restaurants in Arles. The location was excellent. Access was very easy. We were not permitted to take demi-pension since we had booked with Venere.com.

Nicely welcoming employees. Very good location.

We arrived before check in time, we were told there was no common men's toilet available, despite there was one that we noticed and used later (on the other hand, we could use the women's they offered). The swimming pool is for children only. Constant noise was coming from the bathroom.

The breakfast was excellent! We like the hotel very much.

Initially we were anxious in trying to find a hotel in ARLES at a very busy time...reports on the ATRIUM were poor. In fact without huge re-investment it is clear that a great deal of 'refreshment' has been done, and that, together with really terrific staff, made for a really nice stay... The LOCATION is terrific by the way...just facing (and 3 mins walk) of the historical centre...couldnt be better...

We booked 3 rooms. One of the bookings was mis-handled and our son was sent to an already occupied room! He was then allocated another room, but that also turned out to be occupied! Finally, he was given his room. Not very good!

Take care about furniture maitenance. General ambience a bit fresh, but we appreciate the quality of the facilities and the building conception. Location in the city: very good and interesting Parking: usefull and efficient. Price: correct

Ac did not work so we had to wait 1hour to have another room,where the minibar fridge did not work.but i could leave a bag to be cooled at the front desk.room standard not what i expected for a 100 euro/night hotel very smelly room-some kind of flowery perfume.

The room on the first floor was quite Ok except it was overlooking the street and thus noisy especially very early in the morning. The TV didn't work either... Apart from this, the employees were very competent and the hotel located in a walking distance of the monuments. We didn't use the car at all and were safe about it thanks to the private car park. A very good hotel altogether.
