Nice hotel, nice town with a lot of canals and a lot of pedestrian areas. The hotel is situated close to the pedestrian areas as well as quite close to the railway station. It isn't the easiest town to find its way in by car, but it helped a lot with the GPS. However, it was quite easy to orientate by foot. The hotel has its own garage, and in addition to this, there is a public indoor car park just beside the hotel. We stayed for one night, but we regret we didn't stay for another night. Beautiful surroundings along the lake Annecy.

I think it would be helpful if Venere had a better confirmation system which detailed correctly what had been bought. Initially there was some confusion over what we had actually booked. We chose a privilege double B&B but when the confirmation came back to us from Venere it stated that breakfast was not included in the price. As we had little time before we left for Annecy we had no opportunity to contact Venere to check and It was only on our arrival at the hotel that we found that we had indeed paid for Bed and breakfast. We paid more for this hotel than we normally would for a hotel of this calibre though it seems that the price of everything has increased dramatically in France over the last year or so. Having said that the hotel was great. It was super clean and close to the station as well as the old town. The staff in the hotel were excellent, always welcoming and very professional; very helpful in advising us on great places to eat. The cleaning staff were fantastic too. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and hot breakfast stuff too. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location. The interior of the hotel is pleasant and the breakfast was OK. The room is small bu well organized. There is a parking just across the road in case the hotel parking is full.
