I booked at Galice for 4 nights and confirmed by UK. On arriving in France, I phoned to make sure and there was no booking! The kind receptionist at Aix-en-Provence then put us up at a hotel near TGV and only the next day could we move into the Galice in Aix. They did not receive UK booking due to the fact that the 'internet was down' which could cause a huge problem. Stayed in Aix to see the area and visit surrounding towns like Arles, etc. Nice comfortable room.

Location: Hotel at least 15 mins walk from centre. Not easily sign-posted. Need to find Route de Galice on map. Can be easily approached from motorways without going through town. Hotel on side of commercial office block with car show rooms. Adequate free outdoor parking as well as underground hotel parking. Corner room large. Regular rooms fair sized. Rooms clear and modern. Simple modern style furniture. Modern bathroom with all facilities. Large lobby / reception area. Fair sized dining room. Both clean modern utilitarian look. Small outdoor pool and sunbathing area
