Horrible! - No a/c, no internet, both touted as good, but were not working and they kept promising to fix, but didn't. Other guests were complaining as well. Staff VERY unhelpful and rude.

Was further from town than we expected and no public transport, and can't really walk because of freeway. But bar and restaurant looked after us well, and we used a taxi to leave property for shopping and a tour. Fist time here - Recommend for families

The room we had was clean and ok, but it was furnished a bit old and the airco made a lot of noise. Putting it off was no option though since it was 40° C outside. The swimming pool was very ok, it is huge compared to other hotel swimming pools. The hotel is not far from the temples, but further on there was not a lot to see (no restaurants or bars).

Great stay to view Valley of Temples. Well postioned. Only 1 very poor welcoming staff member, all other staff excellent. Do not arrive before 4pm. No facilities until 4pm.incl bar, pool, refreshments, room. Excellent bar, pool, gardens, taxi services. Breakfast fair but dinner very poor, geared to buses.

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Kaos for 2 nights and everything was perfect. By being close to the Agrigento temples, the hotel is ideally located. The rooms were very clean and modern. Internet access is free. The swimming pool is very large. The restaurant is also very good. This was one of our best hotels during our trip to Sicily. Definitely worth the money!

Arrived on a public holiday after a long drive and restaurant was shut - it was a bit of an effort to get even a sandwich from the bar and there's nothing within walking distance. Reception staff were preoccupied and not really interested. Hotel itself was clean and had nice views.

Great hotel. We had twin room with sea view. The pool is gigantic but chilly. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the fellows in the bar. Breakfast was very good. Dinner in the bar was also good. Public areas very warm and inviting. You should use Google Earth for good map and aerial of location. It is easy to find once you are oriented by landmarks. Full board is the best option. Nothing is within walking distance. Very relaxing, inviting place.

A lovely hotel in beautiful gardens. Our room was excellent -with sleek, minimalist fittings which certainly exceeded our expectations. Public areas were of a similarly high standard. The dining room has not yet been re-furbished,but I am sure will be done to the same standard. Waiters were efficient, friendly and helpful, although the food was good but not exceptional. It was difficult to find the Kaos, but, once found, the hotel was very convenient for the archaeological sites.

The hotel was a little raggedy and disorganized about which rooms were ready when. The outdoor/pool/bar area was large and the sea view was good. We could see the Greek ruins from our room if we were right at the window. The bartender was good. Some parts of the hotel were under renovation, so there was noise and dust.

It's a very fantastic hotel, with a large swimming pool and a big garden! The room was clean, big and with a modern furniture. The only difficult is to arrive to it because there are few signs of the hotel.

Perfect place for a stay. Beautiful place with a huge garden and swimming pool. Excellent facilities and design. Good food even if one is the only guest to be served. Access to dirt road leading to hotel is hard to find in the dark. Highly recommendable.

Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to find. There is no actual village/town of Kaos; one is directed to Porto Empedocle, but if you go there, you have already passed the hotel. Chosen in large part for beach access, but beach access was closed. Very disappointing. A truly terrible restaurant - and food is otherwise pretty hard to find.

This hotel is situated in a very quiet area and would NOT be suitable for those NOT travelling by either car or tour bus! So, if you are not really familiar with driving on the island, I would suggest arriving during the hours of daylight, otherwise you may get just a little lost like we did. That aside, this is a nice location to chill out at following a hard day exploring the temples etc. It should be noted that there is a degree of updating going on at the hotel right now, but its not at all intrusive. The only thing we noted as a negative was the dusty carpet in our particular hallway, but that was not significant. Once the the work in progress has been finished this hotel is likely to impress even more than it does now. Judging from the video presentation in the lobby, the redesigned rooms and decor will make everyone smile. We only hope we will still be able to budget a further stay next year, as I'm sure the hotel will be looking to increase it's star rating sometime within the next 12 months.

The hotel does not appear in a GPS and it is very hard to find and to get there. The management should send instructions how to drive there and/or how to set up the GPS. Otherwise was a excellent hotel.

Found it difficult to find. Directions from the SS189 would have been helpful as Kaos wasn't on our map & we ended up going round Arigento for 25 minutes in a rental car before finding a signpost by chance on the outskirts of the town. The hotel was undergoing some improvements which should increase the size of the grounds (garden & landscaped areas) & facilities but somewhere to have a snack throughout the day would have been useful. We particularly liked the small courtyard outside yet within the hotel building as a place to have a candlelit drink in a relaxing environment.

The room and the hotel in general were fine although the decor and fittings are somewhat dated. It is a short drive to the valley of the temples from there and also a beach nearby which we didn't visit. Unfortunately the let down was the meal in the hotel restaurant for 85 euro for two which was the most expensive meal we had in Italy and one of the most dissappointing. The steamed octopus with smells of Sicily was just a steamed octopus, so presumably that's what Sicily smells of. The grilled swordfish was ok but i've had better and for less than 20 euro a main meal. I'd stay here again but I wouldn't eat here again, however as others have said there isn't much else around. The hotel seemed to mostly cater for bus tours and more elderly travellers.

This hotel's pool was very good, but two bad points. 1) A little bad smell around toilet. 2) No restairant around the hotel, you need a car.

The photos of the room were better than the actual room. It was very run down and old. The fountains were all full of green water and lacked a little something. The food in the restaurant was very nice, almost too good for the hotel. The one thing that saved the hotel was the pool. It is large and beautiful and worth the stay.

The hotel had a lovely swimming pool, but that was the only good thing. The rooms were appalling, they smelt terrible, the shower was so small that you couldn't lift your arms above your head to wash your hair. We had booked 4 nights, but left after 2. The surrounding area is very poor. The only thing to do is the 'Valley de los Templos', so 1 night is long enough.
