Very nice hotel near the marina, located directly in front of promenade and seaside. Little far away from Lido Ostia center (half an hour walk), but that's even better and there is a bus stop 20 m away, the hotel also provides shuttle bus. European breakfast average, especially on weekends when there were a lot of guests everything was running out in seconds. The hotel stuff was very helpful and open to solve problems. On our departure there was a strike and we would not be able to reach Termini Station. We were offered a free shuttle and thanks to that our vacation problem disappeared. Room clean, not very spacious but as for Roma standards pretty big. Bathroom nice and spacious. The only thing I can complain is the shower glass which was an architect mistake. It was difficult to take a shower and not to flood the bathroom. But cleaning service was taking care of it very well. Simple and modern design, really tasty. Beautiful sea view. Next time we would stay longer.

Loved this hotel. Its location is right on the beach. We had a double room with balcony and sea views. Only stayed two nights but would have loved to stay longer.

Ienjoyed my stay very much at the Aran Blu Hotel It was straight across the road from the beach and near the pier and shops, The staff were very nice and spoke english, and it was a nice new hotel. I had stayed in Rome the previous two days before I arrived in Ostia. I came to Ostaia Lido by underground then train and the cost was only 1 Euro. I would reccommend a trip to Ostia for anyone but especially for young people as there is a lot going on!!

The architecture of the hotel and the styling of the rooms is special - different, very nice and tasteful. The architecture of the hotel and the styling of the rooms is special - different, very nice and tasteful. The location is with some distance from the centre of town. On the other hand the beach is not too crowded in this end. Half of the staff is extremely kind, efficient and helpful, half of the staff is inefficient and / or don´t care that much: 1. The roommaid did´t care if you put on the "Do not disturb"-sign. Two days in a row she entered the room ignoring the obvious sign, which was rather inappropriate. 2. First night after returning from dinner we asked for 1 more sheet, as we only had 1 big in our double bed. I admit, it was in the evening (not late though), but the young woman in the front desk claimed she could not help. No attempt, just rejection. (I wonder what they do, if people get sick etc. ...) I forgot about it next day, and the scene was repeated the following evening. Still no extra sheet. Third night we found the maid had left the bed without any sheet at all, which finally meant we suceeded by getting 2 sheets - hooray ! ... Fourth night the 2 sheets were replaced with 1 and we kind of gave up. Too complicated apparently... I have not rated the cleanliness very high as the carpet of the room definately needed at cleaning and I in the bathroom under the table found a pair of scales not only out of function but also rather dirty. Window cleaning was also highly needed. But everything else was all-right. The information in the front desk was according to who you spoke to. Either very kind, helpful and informative or the opposite: 1. If you tell the guests that the bus for the centre leaves right around the corner, why don´t you say, it is a free ride. 2. If you tell where the supermarket is, why don´t you say where the nearest is. Too stupid to walk quite a distance in the heat if not necessary

The hotel is in a fab location overlooking beach and marina (where best restaurants are). Two improvements needed - umbrellas on the balconies (it is too hot to sit out) and more wardrobe space.

There was no welcome. The bar and restaurant were closed. There were only four or five other rooms occupied in a large hotel and the NOISIEST people were put next door to us. The walls are paper thin and we heard a typical Italian conversation until the early hours. Two complaints did nothing to improve the situation. On departure, the lone receptionist was not interested. Very disappointing.

My wife and I enjoyed our last night in Italy by staying here by the ocean. Oceanview was great with a great sunset. Missed out on breakfast as we had to leave at 4:00am for our flight. I recommend this hotel.

Was²stayin' on room 215, which was²a double room for 1 person.I was not expecting such a nice place, compared to the photos on the net. Excellent for the room, the services.just little bit poor for the room services in the rooms, especially the breakfast (frozen croissant and only biscottes!) but so many small bars on the beach, right outside the hotel.... A +++ for everyone overthere
