By car
The Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Hotel is right at the entrance to Punta Umbría so quite easy to find.

From Seville
To Huelva by road, take the A-49. Once in Huelva, you’ve two options for getting to Punta Umbría: via the A-497 main road or if time for sightseeing catch the seasonal passenger ferry called the 'Canoa' (Canoe) from the port in Huelva.

From Faro
Take the IP-1 Portuguese motorway and when you got to Ayamonte, the A-49. You’d come off at exit (salida) 99, signposted Aljaraque / Huelva Oeste (Huelva West) / Acceso playas (Access to beaches). Continue on the A-492 as far as a roundabout with an exit sign-posted to Punta Umbría; carry on to the next roundabout and take the exit sign-posted to Punta Umbría again. This road, the A-497, takes you to Punta Umbria.


By airplane
