Hotel Barceló Margaritas - Playa del Ingles

Running water and sunshine are not charged at extra costs! For a 4 stars hotel, in 2011, not having free-of-charge WIFI connection is just a shame. At Barceló Margaritas it is not free at all, is rather expensive (6 or 7 € a day) and not very user-friendly. By the way, whatever is not clearly included in the price of the room is to be paid, and sometimes it looks like a rip-off. You want to weigh your suitcase so that you do not risk to pay extra at the airport? A scale is kindly made available to you in the hall of the Hotel. Just insert a coin…….

I thought on my way in to the hotel that it was the most beautiful hotel i had ever stayed in.It should be a 5 star hotel the reception area is beautiful and spotless.Rooms spacious and decorated to a high standard.the pool area was beautiful,lovely trees every where.Great activities to do in hotel.food is outstanding.The only thing i could fault is the men behind reception,not very friendly and dont smile,the women are very friendly.overall a beautiful hotel

This is an excellent hotel. Food buffet is out of this world, bestg I have had in europe. The pool area is really bad as the sun does not get into this area all day so you have to go to the pool at the back which is for the apartments and is usually packed. The location is pretty dismal if you want access to the sea, great if you want to be in the horrific Yumbo centre in 5 mins.

A family-oriented hotel with clean rooms and friendly, efficient service. Close to Yumbo Centre and main attractions at Playa del Ingles. Reasonably priced, especially for larger groups.
