September 2009 - The hotel was very difficult to find based on the fact that there is road building going on along the main road that leads out of Puerto Banus and the diversion makes it very difficult to make the correct turn off the main road. (Impossible actually) Therefore what should have been a 10 minute journey became a 45 minute journey as I navigated dark local roads around in circles. My map was not detailed enough and the hotel has not erected any alternate signage along the diversion route. Please note that the hotel is in an out of town setting adjacent a golf course. I was not aware of any nearby bars or restaurant facilities. I felt quite trapped in the hotel itself and the room service menu was not the best I have ever had to choose from. I decided not to indulge. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious and well appointed so my one night was very comfortable. One other complaint - I was charged 12 Euros to park my car overnight in the underground car park. I missed any signs showing the tariff until after I was already in the car park. I am not sure that there are any. The streets around the hotel are not crowded and do not feel like there would be any problem with leaving a car unattended. I feel that if you wanted not to suffer this unpublished charge it would not be too difficult to park on street level.

Beautiful hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. My husband and I had never been to Marbella, so we were happily surprised at the accommations and beautiful surroundings. It was a simple taxi drive to the sea and Marbella old town. The rooms were fabulous - great for a corporate retreat or golf outing. it was a little isolated, so people wanting an active night scene should try something else.
