Barceló Hotel Sants - Barcelona

Although the room that we stayed in was on the 7th (top) floor and we were unable to hear the traffic or trains arriving; the walls were thin, and early in the morning when guests arrived, they made a lot of noise, which was very loud. Other than that, the bed was extremely comfy, the location (literally on-top of the train and Metro stations), and the rest of the accommodations were great.

4 stars hotel, nothing to add: very nice place

Located over the main railway station, this hotel has a convenient location. It's clean and the dtaff are fine. Overall it is great need of refurbishment, the decor is tired and fittings are worn. Charging extra for the rooms safes is a complete rip-off, particularly in pickpocket city.

No near of the City Center for Tourist.

Hotel has a very convenient location --- right on top on train station; look for signs in station; entrance is right outside of one exit. rooms were adequate, bathroom spacious. for a train station hotel this was excellent; easy & short metro to see the sights.

Excellent location if you travel by train.The hotel is located exactly at railway station. Good city comunications by subway.

Hello! Before planning my stay in Barcelona I read the messages on Venere, so now I feel I need to contribute to this as well. The main important reason for which I chose the hotel was the location. The hotel is situated on top of the Saints trains Station. I came from the airport with the train, and stoped at Saints train station, and then I traveled towards France, and took the train from there. It was good that I didn't have to travel too much with the bagage. For traveling in the city, I used the metro, which is in the same location of the Saits station. I took a 3 days ticket that was arownd 12 euros, and was valid for metros and busses, and even to the airport. The metro are very relyable, as I didn't wait on any line more then 4 minutes! I recomend this ticket to anybody that want to see all the main attractions in the city and doesn't want to spend a lot of time in the trafic, or walking. About the hotel itself: it is reasonable price for a double room, but for the single room is almost the same price as for the double (arrownd 110 euro with taxes). Then you do not have breakfast, or car parking included in the price. The room was clean, and quiate. The main problem was that didn't have a window to open (only air conditioned), and in the toilet wasn't functioning the ventilation. but generaly I was satisfyed, and I would stay again there. have fun in Barcelona!

My only serious objection is connected with quite a high price.

Was a great place to stay with occasional tremble from the trains running below. The readily avaiable parking makes it a good location for visitors driving through from other parts of the country. Would be better after the construction around the hotels are done, less the confusion and noise.

Hotel veramente confortevole ubicato in una zona strategica e tranquilla della città (si trova sopra la stazione di Sants) da cui si possono raggiungere tutti i luoghi di interesse. Da non sottovalutare che proprio qui arriva/parte pure il treno da/per l'aeroporto. Pecca è la colazione carissima.

E' stato molto comodo stare in questo albergo, visto che è situato proprio sopra la stazione feroviaria Barcelona Sants. Anche come albergo è molto buono.

Very Good for access to Tour Busses, Metro, Rail Links and Airport. Useful shopping on rail Concourse. Hotel staff allowed luggage to be secured after checkout to enable us to continue our visit, before travelling home.

Better outside than inside; i didn't like this hotel; i think the localisation is the only advantage of this hotel.

En l'hotel s'incompleix sistemàticament la normativa lingüística vigent pel que fa a la presència de l'idiooma català.

We were traveling by train in Italy, France, and Spain. It was great to disembark the train and take a moving stairs and an elevator to the reception. We ate dinner at 2 great restauants very close to the hotel. The metro station is across the street and the immediate area seen safe and tranquill. After our 2 night stay, we reversed the process to get our train to Madrid. We would certainly stay here again, when in Barcelona.

You can't open the windows for some fresh air, while the AC provided quite warm air. The rooms are quite small, but if you don't want to stay in there all the day, that's no problem. The "Sat TV"-offer is much too small, only a few non-spanish channels are too less for a 4stars hotel. But anyway, we weren't in BCN to watch TV ;)

Noisy and not very clean.

This hotel is not in the touristic center of the city, but is just above one of the main train stations and a metro stop, and has bus terminal right by it, which makes commuting to the central part of the city and to smaller towns outside very easy. Despite the homelesses outside of the station at night, it is a populated area and seemed decently safe.

Easdy access from Sants railway station and access to city. We did not eat in the hotel.

All ok except that breakfast is not included and it costs 12€ + 7% VAT per person! It is a nice international breakfast but 12€ per person it's too much! In my opinion it's much more convenient to have breakfast at the bar in the railway station above the hotel :)

Equipment in Internet rooms was not good. PC was old and some of them was not working.

I was disappointed to find that the location of the hotel (at train station) does not match the area on the website map. The website claims it is in L'Eixample near Sagrada Familia. It is not even close to this. Also, the hotel insisted on charging for basic services, eg use of safe supplied in room.
