Abbeyfields provides a fresh, seasonal, fruit salad. There's a wide selection of cereals, natural and fruit yoghurts, jams, marmalades, and Tropicana fresh juices.
This is followed by a traditional, Yorkshire, cooked breakfast, using the finest of local ingredients, including local butcher Tony Nearey's award-winning sausages and bacon.
For guests prefering a lighter, cooked option, Abbeyfields offers Loch Muir smoked salmon, on scrambled eggs, on homebaked bread.
All is accompanied by a pot of freshly-brewed, Yorkshire tea, or cafetiere of freshly-ground coffee. Specialty teas and hot chocolate are also available. -

Abbeyfields Guest House has 8 rooms, tastefully decorated, welcoming with fresh flowers, and themed on unique aspects of York. Original, Victorian, sash windows provide light, air, and city views.All rooms are ensuite with walk-in shower, wash & toilet facilities.
