Chmielna St. B&B - Warsaw

While the staff was knowledgeable and kind, there are some facts that make difficult it for me to book again on B/B Chmielna. The entrance to the building is filthy, and no where in the website says that you have to climb 5 floors with your luggage to check-in. I had requested separated beds and got a queen bed, and the apartment I contracted was not an individual apartment, but a room with shared living room and kitchen. That was misleading. Besides that, the staff was very helpful, location was excellent, and the room and bathroom spotless. I just wish I'd knew beforehand what I had signed for.

The staff and at New World and the manager of both faciliaties were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided great dining and sight seeing tips. I was there during a warm spell and thankfully a fan turned up in my room without having to request it. Now that's customer service! The rooms are nicely painted and decorated. The bathrooms/showers are relative large and modern. The commom room is also quite large and comfortable. The downside of the location is that it is prone to street noise, especially with the windows open. It is somewhat of a bummer to have to drag your luggage up and down several flights at New World and again at Chmielna Street to check in and out. The rooms are a little tight for two people and their luggage. Rather than soap, they provide shower gel. But they don't provide a wash cloth or anything with which to apply it. What's up with that? Overall, I would highly recommend Chmielna Str. B&B when staying in Warsaw.

This was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Location, cleanliness, room and flat deco, facilities.. all very good. The place had a kitchen with all you can drink tea/coffee and facilities to make your own food. There was a communal laptop in the living room and Wi-Fi in the flat.

Great location with very modernly styled and clean bedrooms and public areas. Western hostels could learn something from places like these :)

The reception is 200 meters away at the hostel, not all rooms ensuite but worst was the lack of ventilation during very warm summer period plus extremely soft mattress on bed.
