Bed and Breakfast Alice Relais nelle Vigne - Carpesica, Vittorio Veneto

Good B&B with good views and easy access from Treviso airport. Great base to explore nearby strada del prosecco. The B&B is in a beautiful house, renovated to a high standard. The rooms are beautiful and bathroom spacey and with good shower. Breakfast is served in charming room where nibbles and an aperitif is also served in the evening, courtesy of the house. However, my main reason for not giving this property a higher score was the fact that they did not provide any ideas about how to explore the area, where to eat etc. which is such an advantage when visiting B&Bs in general so as to benefit from the local knowledge of the hosts. They did not offer the possibility to visit their own cantina or any of the others nearby so we left the strada del prosecco as clueless about this wine as when we arrived. Overall, the service was quite basic. If thinking of booking this property, please keep in mind that the village where the B&B is located does not have any choices of restaurant except a basic local pizzeria. Also keep in mind that a car is a must and that the hosts speak barely any English at all (could be a problem for some people). We loved nearby Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto.
