Bed and Breakfast San Pellegrino - Viterbo

Basic accomodations, but clean and everything worked. Breakfast is store bought food. Good for one or two nights tops.

Totally charming location and property, though the gentleman who greeted me was rather gruff; perhaps not a natural host. Elderly travellers should note the long flights of stairs. The mattress was of excellent quality, and the birds' morning serenade was welcome. I was disappointed by the preponderance of baked goods wrapped in plastic--perhaps because it was Monday morning and nothing else was available? I can recommend the new (winter 2011) Ostaria S. Pellegrino right down the street, particularly the house antipasto and the chicken with rosemary and olives.

BREAKFAST WAS NOT ENOUGH AND CROISSANTS WERE STALE. HEATING SYSTEM WAS NOT SUFFICIENT IN COMMON AREAS

Bel endroit, mais on s'y sent quand même un peu à l'étroit et s'y trouve assez bizzarement accueillis.

The B & B has a perfect location although it is a little difficult to find. The area is a joy to walk around in - lots of history and well preserved. The B & B is charming with much of the original architecture. Anna, the owner of the B & B is very welcoming and tries her hardest to please.

Spacious room with old world character. Comfy bed. Great location in midevil district. Anna was a gracious hostess who puts out a very nice breakfast spread and hangs out to chat with guests.

We had a great night staying here. It was easy to find (although street parking was a little difficult to find, but no biggie). Loved the building....great character. Rooms and bathroom were really clean and shower was great (even with a nice view from bathroom). Breakfast was the normal selection, however coffee was from an urn, and the croissants were not fresh (they were individually packeted). We are not sure if this style of breakfast is normal for a B&B. Would've loved some croissants from a bakery :-).

San Pelligrino was a wonderful little B&B. The rooms were clean, easy access to the city, the host provided a key so we could come and go as we pleased, and there was free bottled water. The breakfast was very adequate for an italian breakfast. The rooms were a little dusty if you have allergies. Other than that, no complaints. I would recommend this B&B, full of character.

We stayed in the largest of the rooms. It was exactly as pictured and was very pleasant. Anna, the owner, was very helpful and even lit a fire in the fireplace one morning for breakfast when we asked. She was very kind and helpful. I have been to Viterbo many times and the B&B is located in one of the more interesting neighborhoods within the historic city center. Parking is rather limited and tight, but that is true everywhere in Italy. Anna knew several places to park and helped to figure that out. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation! The B&B occupies 3 floors of a residence and I would recommend this B&B to a "mature couple" only if they were able to climb several flights of stairs.

Anna & Family are wonderful. Location is perfect. It is NOT handicapped accessible. We would stay there again.
