They did not clean the room during our 1 week stay. Towels were not refreshed unless we asked for it.Very noisy room as the hotel also recieves groups for dinner. After midnight the diner guests had to leave though. Our room was above the restaurant, so every morning we would wake up at 7AM because the staff was already talking and working in the kitchen. Not possible to pay with CC. Very friendly hosts and staff.

This is one of the most, if not the most enjoyable stays I've had. The bed and breakfast is situated in a picturesque Tuscany setting, right near the town of Vinci (as in Leonardo). The property itself is something out of a travel book, and is run by a great Italian family who also owns the surrounding farm (I believe). The first night of my stay, they provided me with a 5 course meal which was absolutely amazing (especially the pasta with duck sauce ....... unbelievable!). Everything they fed me, from the appetizers to the cheese, to the honey, to the meat, to the wine and grappa was all produced directly on the farm. My room was great. It had a balcony which overlooked the surrounding hills, the pool and recreation area. The bathroom was spacious and very very clean. At night, I could see fire-flies all over the place, and I could hear the faint sound of church bells from Vinci every half hour. Daniela, the mom of the family and the one who runs the b&b, is amazingly nice. Very accommodating. She drove me to the train station on my last day for 20 Euro, which was cheaper than taking a taxi. Santini, the grandmother served me breakfast every morning and was always smiling. The grandfather would give me a bowls of freshly picked cherries when he saw me. I think the funnest part of the stay was that the family spoke no english. It was great fun trying to communicate with them, and I felt like part of the family after only a week. You should definitely, definitely stay here! I will if I ever have the chance again. Say hi to the family for me, and enjoy the 5 star meals!

Lovely location, very friendly owner and staff. If you arrive while the owner is out there are no instructions about what to do. It was very noisy after 7am every morning. Rooms seem to vary in facilities, ours had a balcony but no aircon, my daughter's had aircon but no balcony. Another room had a small kitchen area but ours just had a small fridge and not even a kettle.

I took my family here to see Tuscany and we were very impressed. The house is perfectly situated on top of a hill overlooking vineyards and olive groves. Pisa is 30 minutes to the west and Florence is 20 minutes to the east. The family that runs the house is very hospitable and made us feel as if we were part of the family. They make all their own wine, oil, honey, and grappa. Which they have for sale in the cantina. The Leonardo Da Vinci museum is also very interesting.
