Bed and Breakfast Torre dell'Arte - Torre del Lago Puccini, Viareggio

There is no relationship between the hotel advertising quietness and a garden surrounding the hotel on four sides - and the room we got in the tower opening on a street with 24-hour terrible traffic noise. We chose this hotel because of the emphasising of calm surroundings and quietness.Guests should be warned previously! Besides our room was poor and very small and with a bathroom of low quality. Breakfast, however, was excellent. We would return to the property only if given a spacious room opening on the garden.

We wanted to stay closer to the beach and therefore cancelled the following 3 nights. They let us borrow the kitchen to cook dinner which was highly appreciated.

Highly recommended! I will come back for sure.

We stayed here for a two nights during Carnevale, could not have been happier with our accomodation. Overall an excellent value for the money. There are only 5 or 6 guest rooms, so be sure to have a cell phone to give the hosts a call when you arrive. The hosts arrived shortly after we called; drew up a map to show us the best way to get to Carnevale and recommended a street to park. The room was clean and good size. The breakfast in the morning was adequate...assorted breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and beverages. We enjoyed the smell of the cornetti baking as we came down in the morning. It is a good distance from any train station, but is perfect if you are travelling by car...easy to find and plenty of parking.

They were very welcoming, the pictures in the rooms were very unusual and different, breakfast was excellent fresh warm coissants and a lot more. The one fault is they do not take credit cards so we had to hunt for a cash machine.

Tipologia di struttura molto originale, assolutamente suggestiva e di certo fascino. Colazione a buffet non vasta. Le spugne delle camere non venivano cambiate giornalmente. Inoltre le camere non sono insonorizzate e si sente qualsiasi rumore. Nota positiva, la connessione WI-FI gratuita in tutte le stanze, e la cordialità e familiarità dei gerenti.
