First, there is no indication online that there is no staff in the building at night. As a single female traveler, I felt vulnerable. Second, when I arrived, the owner and "butler" met me, but the owner was in a rush and once she had my signature on the reservation form, she seemed uninterested in answering my questions about what each of the three keys I was handed was for. In the end, she said one was for the elevator, which was incorrect. The rooms were lovely and the location great; however, the B&B tries too hard to be elegant -- with candles burning on the breakfast table and the staff whispering. It really only made me feel uncomfortable, as I was the only guest in the room. Friendliness and availablility of management and staff are lacking, which is a shame, since at approx. 460 Euros for two nights, I expected more.

Room Details
