Bed and Breakfast Residenza Carducci - Verona

I would recommend this B&B unreservedly. Giovanna made us feel very welcome and served a wonderful breakfast with good conversation in perfect English.

Everything has been perfect! Grazie mille per tutti! We enjoyed our stay in Verona at the residenza and in the city with a great concert in the arena. The residenza is very close to the city with a 5 minute walk. The hospitality is excellent!

Getting a real sense of everyday life in wherever we go by becoming a part of it is what we always want. Our choice of stay in Verona proved to be right in this sense. Apart from high quality of the meticulously designed and furnished apartment, the hospitality, sincerity and warmth of Giovanna and Micheal was beyond words. We wish we had been able to spend more time and savor the breakfast. Grazie tante Giovanna & Micheal!

This is a beautiful place to stay in every relation. Large very comfortable rooms, walking distance to every place one want to visit in Verona and excellent price-value relationship. But most important is the hospitality of Giovanna and Michael. We never experienced something like that before. We do not know when we come back to Verona but we know where we will stay. :)

Very nice place to stay. Good location, easy walk to the centre. Easy parking (permit provided). Quiet. Very spacious bedroom and living room, efficient air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast (with guests from the other room and Giovanna). Good value for money.

What a great place to stay!! Spacious rooms, a historic house, and the best hosts I could imagine. We loved our stay and Residenza Carducci. Verona is a surprising city with much to see and do. Residenza Carducci is a short cab ride away from the train station, but a short walk gets you to Piazza delle Erbe, which is delightful. We can't wait to return to Verona and the Residenza Carducci.

Best choice for those who come to Verona and prefer to stay in B&B instead of hotel in order to stay in company of Italian hosts and taste the harmony and peace of life in Italy. You will leave in XVI Century building with the original inner design, arches and newly restored frescoes. You’ll also find nicely furnished rooms with dinner room and kitchen, big windows facing quite Italian yard. And of course – the greatest advantage – seniora Giovanna with her great breakfasts served in exquisite saloon and her natural warm hospitality, her priceless advices (she speaks English). Come to Verona and see by yourself.

Rezidenza Carducci was the perfect place to stay in the beautiful city of Verona. It was easy to find, presented exactly as the website showed and was situated in a very convenient part of the city. As we only had one night in Verona we were keen to get into the city and we were well placed for that. Giovanna and Michael were terrific hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is not to be missed- fresh juice, coffee, breads, meat, cheese and home made jams. When it proved difficult to get a taxi Michael drove us to the station- much appreciated. We would certainly return and recommend this beautiful apartment to others.

The place is beautifully remodeled and decorated with great taste. Verona is a wonderful city, but you will just want to stay in your beautiful and spacious room! Good quiet location, just a few walking minutes from downtown. Parking available. The owners are kind, helpful and interesting people. We spent one whole morning just chatting with them. Delicious breakfast. We will definitely be coming back there and we can recommend it with great confidence.

Should you like to spent your time in 16th-century ambience with modern facilities and feel like home, this is the place!

Excellent stay from every point of view!

Don't be fooled by the fasade of this B&B! We drove 3 times around the block thinking that our GPS was wrong, but finnaly called and the owner came down to meet us. It looks like an abandoned building, but is well kept inside. NOT handicapped friendly (stairs). Owner (lady),very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Room very spacious (we even had a living room with kitchenette).

We had a very nice stay in a fantastic house. Beautiful breakfast and warm hospitality from the hostess. We hope to come back soon.

We stayed 2 nights during summer holiday. Perfect place: spacious well decorated appatment, warm, helpful and welcoming hosts, great breakfast,could walk everywhere...We couldn't have find a better place! Highly recommended.

Residenza Carduzzi is the very best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed on, and we cannot recommend this place enough. Very friendly and helpful people, wonderful breakfast ( high above Italian standard). Spacious, spotless clean and quiet rooms. The location is really fine with walking distance both to the Arena and the old town We will certainly want to return.

I stayed in "Residenza Carducci" for 3 nights in early February 2009 and I found the place so fascinating! I was very much intrigued by photos and by the description on Venere.com while booking and I must say all my expectations were met! There is a nice homely atmosphere in that historic inn, the rooms are huge (it's a suite in fact with a fully equipped kitchenette). The owners are charming and extremely helpful. Residenza Carducci is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed, both in Europe and the US. I stayed here for seven nights and I was quite reluctant to leave! Everything about my stay was perfect. Giovanna and Michael were wonderful hosts - very kind and always helpful. The bedroom, kitchen/living area, and bathroom were all spotlessly clean. The photos posted here are very accurate. There is free wireless, and at times my signal wasn't so strong and it would get disconnected every now and then, but overall the internet situation was great. Breakfast was delicious - I looked forward to it each day. There were rolls, croissants, fruit, cheese, yogurt - very filling and yummy. The location is excellent - about a ten-minute walk to Piazza Erbe, fifteen to the Arena. It is possible to walk from the train station, but it would probably take about a half hour, and would be difficult with luggage - I took a taxi to and from the station. I love Verona, and now I want to return largely because I just want to stay at Residenza Carducci again! If/when I am in Verona again, I will absolutely most definitely stay here, and I completely recommend it to anyone going to Verona.

We were only their one night but could have very happily stayed for days. It is a little hard to find if you are driving, as thee street number is not very clear and the name is on a small sign. Once you're on foot it is easy enough to find.

We had a very nice stay at Residenza Carducci. Excellent location: very quiet place only five minute walk from the centre of Verona. The apartment is huge and charming: living room with kitchenette, bedroom, and large bathroom. The rooms were homely, beautifully furnished. The house itself is an ancient 500 years old building restored with great taste. The breakfast which we got in the owners beautiful living room was wonderful. Giovanna and Michael were very friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Location was excellent for sightseeing in Verona. Owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. Accommodation was toprate, spacious, well appointed and comfortable.

I was so impressed by this facility and by the family who run it that I took a number of their cards and have been giving them to friends. It was the perfect place to stay during a Verona holiday.

This was our first time at Residenza Carducci. We met a fascinating house and a warm and charming hostess.

I thought it was an outstanding place to stay. As well as use of our own apartment, in itself consisiting of sitting room, bedroom and kitchenette, we had breakfast in the owners' most beautiful sitting room. Breakfast was fantastic, and out host was charming. Unbeatable altogether.

Giovanna and her husband Michael gave us a very warm welcome into their home and looked after us very well.The breakfasts were fantastic and much nicer than any hotel.They gave us advice on places to visit and some very good restaurants.The location is ideal as it is only a ten minute walk into the centre of Verona.We hired a car and visited Lake Garda and Venice. I will be recommending Residenza Carducci to all my friends

It was quiet remarkable to arrive to a place with expections for not more than dissent sleeping conditions, and to find out that actually it comtains bed room, living room and some kitchen arrangements. Thd house itself is a charming old/ancient building restored with gentle loving hand. It is obvious that a lot thinking, work and TLC were out in the restoration process. From architectural point of view the result is very beautifull with good taste and judgement. I think that the viamichelin is not doing justice to thos place since it is not emphasizing enough his beauty.
