this B and B was extremely hard to find. Once found it had a dark dingy entrance on an ally. Did not feel safe at all. We travel alot and were not expecting four star at all but this was a bit much on the poor side. What was served as breakfast was very stale bread and juice. We could make our own coffee. Probably this place would do better as a hostel and just make better access to some independent meal making.

The location is wonderful in amazing Verona. Our host met us when we checked in, and then we were on our own...which was fine. The breakfast was standard Italian B&B fare and self-serve, which was actually better for us. For price and location, I would definitely recommend B&B Alle Erbe.

good value for verona. great location. rather spartan rooms, but very clean. no ac, so with windows open the outside noise was a little loud. will stay there again, due to convience and value and very competant staff.

B&B alle Erbe is close to everything!! Piazza Erbe,Torre Lamberti, the Arena, Juliets balcony, Via Mazzini (shopping). You step out of the B&B and you're in the middle of the historic center. The perfect spot to start sightseeing in Verona!

The rating about the quietness of the rooms is explained by the central situation of the B&B. It is inevitable not to hear the people on the street. About the rating for services offered compared to the description of website: We had for the breakfast just 8 zwiebacks for 6 persons and biscuits! But otherwise everything was fine with enough coffee and tee. A near confectionary made us discover the Italian pastry. :-)

How to reach B&B Alle Erbe

By car
Travelling on the highway A4 exit at Verona sud and follow the signs for the center. Shortly before entering Piazza Bra square, turn right into Piazza Cittadella square, and park there (extensive parking facilities are available).
Please note: the B&B lies in a limited traffic area subject to a special entrance permission. Contact the B&B in advance if you need to reach the B&B's entrance by car.

By train
From Verona Porta Nuova Train Station take the green AMT bus line no. 73 departing from the sidewalk F (Blue). Get off after 15 stops at Piazza Erbe, at the marketplace. Walk 10 meter to Corso Portoni Borsari, and soon after the Hotel Gabbia d’Oro you will see a small arch that leads to Corte Sgarzerie. At no. 5 there is B&B Alle Erbe.

By airplane
From Verona Valerio Catullo airport take the Aerobus shuttle to Verona Porta Nuova railway station and then follow the aforementioned indications.
