B&B Al Teatro - Verona

Excellent accommodation, easily accessible from railway station and centrally located a few minutes walk from the Arena. Room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Breakfast provision was good. I would recommend for a short visit to Verona.

A real B&B at great location - all attractions are within walking distance. There is supermarker few steps away! The whole apartment is nicely renovated however you'd be careful always not to distorb families and in other rooms - all in 200 sqm apartment! Not all rooms are with private both, make sure you ask...

Booked with credit card, but had to pay cash. Staff very difficult to track down, even when trying to check out and pay the bill. No on-site parking, and you have to be lucky to get parking outside the place which at 1 Euro/hour, can get expensive. Daughter had to sleep on a sofa as no extra beds, and no fridge available. Nevertheless, it is very convenient for getting to the town centre and the Arena, and there is a supermarket across the road if you need snacks and cold beer.

A good accomodation as a whole for a short stay. Excellent location - only 50-100 metres from the Arena, with a supermarket close to it and at a distance of 200 metres to Castel Veccio. Two addresses on N5 and n7, not well explained. One has to ring up the indicated mobile tel. number on the door to be met and let in. Rooms are in a big apartament -spacious and clean with private bathrooms but not very convenient - with a double bed, a wardrobe and a sofa but with no table and chairs. Much street noice at night and in the early morning as the police station is near by. The breakfast is o.k. but served in the shared living room of the owner which is not specified and makes you feel somewhat unconfortable. The rate is merely twice overpriced.

Excellent, friendly venue to stay -- especially for attending the Opera. We will be back in the future (now that we know exactly the Location of Al Teatro). Finding Al Teatro was a major challenge. We asked staff at the nearby supermarket for directions-they never heard of Al Teatro B&B!!!

A great place to stay when you visit Verona. Al Teatro is in 6 min walking distance from the Arena di Verona and the centro storico. It was the first time in my life that I booked a B&B but this is highly recommendable. We had a spacious room with a small balcony and private bathroom, the breakfast (self setrvice) was prepared in a small kitchenette. Everything was very clean and tidy. When again coming to Verona I will definetely look for this Bed & Breakfast again.

The stay at the B&B Al Teatro was great, the room and bathroom very clean, the position absolutely great. If we would have any comments - they are not related to what the B&B offers - but to the Verona community services - they start gathering the garbage at 4.30 in the morning - and while the glass container was cleaned...it was not possible to sleep - even with the window closed... :(

We received a friendly and warm welcome and our room was clean, well-priced and presented. We stayed two nights but any more and this accommodation really is too small. The B&B is well located for all the sights of Verona but the outlook from the room is buildings and quite dull.

Excellent location once you find it!!! Wondered around the street for ages asking people. Happened upon a woman standing outside what looked like an apartment block. She worked for the B&B but you could not tell except she knew I was looking for a room with bathroom for 2 nights. She took me across the road to another apartment block!! When I eventually got into my room. It was very clean and adequate. Breakfast was included and was fine - included yoghurt, cereal, fruit, eggs, and cheese. I specifically chose this place because I wanted the internet but it did not work properly. However if that is not your concern then it is really in a great spot (you can almost see the Arena). I would recommend.

As a single I got a very big, very new and clean double room with an attached bathroom and a small balconly! Great! Breakfast is rather simple and there is no hairdryer. Unfortunatly the B&B was very hard to find. The rooms are in two appartements in different buildings. There aren't any signs outside and nobody can tell you where it is. So make sure you email with them before and take your mobile phone (roaming!) with you so you can call them on your arrival. Go to Mc Donalds and then ask for Pam Supermarket (3 min walk, then you are in the right street and very close to the appartments).

Good hotel to stay in Verona close to the center of the city. Good facilities.

We loved so much had stayed in Al Teatro. We had pleasure to know Victoria, so kind and careful.

Perfectly located just meters from the center..safe walking around at night, there on vacation alone so that was important. Breakfast was more than adequate, with many choices. The owner was very warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again!

Simply PERFECT!

The location is perfect!!! One big "don't like" is that the toilet is located outside of the room (it is still personal though). The shower is also not quite comfortable. Big thanks to the staff (Tiziano) :)

We stayed in Verona for 3 days and had a great time. The location was absolutely superb walking distance to everything. The breakfast was also great and the hotel manager very friendly. Only downsides is the apartment is almost impossible to find with no signs and only tiny print on buzzer outside door (address we were told at number 7 didnt answer and tuned out we had to call another named B&B at number 5 (same owner). Also parking is a nightmare as in all Italian cities and none is provided (at least these proprietors are honest about no including parking unlike some other Italian hotels we stayed in!). Definitely would stay there again if visiting Verona.

Perfect position in the city! 3 minutes from piazza Bra, everything worth seeing in Verona can be reached on foot. The bus stop to the train station is right at the corner of the street. One more advantage is a supermarket, situated in the next house. The room itself is spacious and cosy.

This hotel was very handy to the old city of Verona being located just a short walk outside the city wall and not far from the Roman Arena. A perfect location for Opera buffs where a different opera is held each night in the Roman Arena during the summer months. My only concern was locating this hotel on our arrival as it has changed its name to B&B Al Filarmonico and the street name has worn off the wall. Otherwise very comfortable and helpful service.

This is a nice bed and breakfast close to the Arena. Recommended! Be aware of that it is not so easy to find out where it is when you arriving the first time, it is marked with another bed and breakfastname than Al Theatro.

Occasion: opera in Arena di Verona; the room was a good match: close to Arena, with friendly proprietor and very good coffee for breakfast. More than meets expectations for 2-starts accomodation.
