Central location near the city wall and Piazza Bra. You can walk to everything. Lovely rooms and a good continental breakfast and cereal for the kids. Supermarket is about 20m away. Good Wifi. Very good bathrooms. In all, excellent! Room Tip: we had the family room (2 rooms which have been combined) = quite large.

The big problem is that this is not really a B&B since the owner lives in a different appartment (Actually it may not qualify as a B&B by the regulation). So the problem that no one was therewhen we arrived and I was lucky to enter the coffeeshop nextdoor because the owner (very kind) knew the owner and called her on the phone (otherwise we would not have been able to enter the building!) I understand this is B&B but the owner are not there, they do not speak much English nor French(at least not the mother who was in charge taht day), and they are not professional. If you have a car, you can stay, for the price of a B&B, in a luxury hotel outside Verona and park it (for free after 20:00) within 500m-1km of the Arena. If yo are not afraid to drive late at night, this is a much better deal.

A beautiful B & B just around the corner of Piazza Bra. Nice surroudings in a quiet road. A place we would consider to stay at if coming back to Verona. The breakfast is however the worsed we have been served ever!! and we will advise all to eat at one of the cafés instead.

Great position - very close to the Arena and the old town. As a single female I had no concerns walking back from the Arena at night and the building is very secure. My only concern was it is not well signposted and initially I had trouble finding the hotel as it is inside a residential building.

I'm an American graduate student who was traveling alone. I spent one night in Verona to go to the opera, and this was by far the most reasonably priced place to stay I could find in the city center. It really is only a 2-minute walk from the Arena, which was crucial for me as a young woman leaving the opera alone at 1 in the morning. The woman who runs Artemisia B&B is friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and much more attractively decorated than I had expected. The window overlooked the roof of a neighboring supermarket parking garage, and the room badly needed a fan in the heat – but I was able to sleep with the window open. The shared bathroom was large and clean. This was a comfortable, pleasant, and very reasonable option near the opera.

About a 15 minute walk from the train stations, and while more expensive than I had budgeted, the property was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location to all major sightseeing in Verona. Steps away from the arena and the center of town. Great little grocery on the corner for gathering picnic supplies to take to the arena for Aida. Also, the staff (owner and employee were very warm and welcoming) I had a great stay, and I wished it could be longer.

Such a lovely lady ready to help and make her customers happy at every minute. Breakfast like at home in a nicely decorated kitchen with good quantity + quality of food. I highly recommend the place which is also ideally situated in Verona.

The water in the shower was totally cold. The owner was quite rude and I had to ask her for the receipt (otherwise she wouldn't have given me). I don't recommend this B&B.

Traveling as a family of four, these accommodations more than met our requirements for space. Very clean and tastefully appointed. Sounds from the street one level below were sufficiently muted, however, the sounds of late arriving guests at 3am did disturb us until they made their way into their rooms and settled. Rely on street names an numbers to find the main entrance, then look for the very small placard next to the room buzzers at the main entrance. Pre-arrange with the proprietor your arrival time. The cafe attendant next door was kind enough to ring the proprietor for us, as we were without our own mobile phone.

My friends and I stayed in this bed and breakfast in the suite for four people and we were really surprised to find out a really big and nice bedroom. Moreover, the location is excellent and the price to get all this, incredible!

Not good value for money as bathroom shared with guests from at least one other room-this is mentioned on the website-but not usual nowadays.Owner was away when I visited and her stand-in tried hard, but had not been left with sufficient information on procedures. Ideal situation for late night events at the Arena as only two minutes away, but latecomers can be noisy!

The B@B is situated very close to historical attractions, and the bus stop is close by to go to the train station. A supermarket is in the neighborhood, so we had a chance to enjoy having a ham and cheese sandwith on the veranda. The madam keeps th place neet and tight, but it would be nice if the rooms were a bit more cheeper.

Just 2mins away from the Arena and all other intersting places, extremely central, could not find a better place. I strongly recommend B&B Artemisia and will definitely return, hopefully soon. I don't think that place can take large groups, but it is always good to ask.

I enjoyed my stay in Artemisia. The location was excellent. I took taxi from train station but I would suggest that other holiday makers take the bus as they are frequent and cheap. The Arena was minutes away, there was supermarket a few doors away and internet cafe about 5 minutes walk away. Having the use of the kitchen during the day was good to. Good service at breakfast from Lucy, Irish girl helping out.

the place is graceful and pleasant . the two problems I can see is that the owner is not residing there, therefore you can arrive at the place and nobody will open door for you unless you phone and wait in the street. although i let the lady know I am arriving not in a usual hour and let her know the time she was not there and i had to wake her up, which was awkward. otherwise she is a charming lady and arrived abruptly and organized the room for me. the room was nice and the whole flat is charming and tasteful. most of the time i was completely on my own. breakfast has nice atmosphere but the choice is just sweet cakes and stuff and I had no choice for "real" food and it is bad as I am a bit diabetic. although I said that I still got only cakes. still i will recomend this place and just point out the lack of breakfast my country people see as breakfast and tell them to make other arrangements about breakfast. but the bed is comfi and the bathroom spacious, balcony to each room and very nice owner of the place.

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at B&B Artemisia. It was a spacious, well appointed and beautiful place to stay in the heart of this incredible town. The three girls had a huge room with a balcony and my wife and I had a large bedroom to ourselves. Two bathrooms made for plenty of privacy and we happened to have the place to ourselves. I would suggest this place to anyone.

First of all very difficult to find only a name tag on the buzzer. This property is on the first floor with a lift. The host does not speak much english. The room does not have its own bathroom a point that is not made on the website we would not have taken it had we known this. The room was clean but at the front of the property and very noisy - sweepers in the early morning, the supermarket clearing out its stocks of cans also early in the morning. Parking is not available unless you are quick and you have to pay by the hour this is one euro per hour. Breakfast was bread and jam and coffee only. The table can only fit 4 people and the apartment can only fit 7 so if there are 7 in on the night you are in you are in a queue for breakfast. The beds are not made therefore if you are staying more than one night then you have to make your own bed. The towels provided are all hand towels and again not replaced daily. All in all I would not recommend this to anyone.

This was a beautiful bed and breakfast with plenty of charm and a fantastic location. In fact, I don't think the photos (I don't recall seeing any) or maps (not detailed enough) do it justice. There is a supermarket just around the corner and a kitchen available for guest's to use. The street is so quiet you would never realise that you are JUST behind the main square in which stands the Arena etc. I felt like I was at home, if home was a beautifully furnished apartments in a stunning city.

The location is perfect! In the middle of town, only about 200 m to the big square and Arena, but still in a quiet place. We were a family of four and hired the suite and also used the sofa as extra bed for two. Very spacious and comfortable, even the sofa! We where very lucky to have the new air condition installed in our room too! Nice during the hot period >35 degrees outside. The hosts was very nice and friendly. We could deside what time we wanted breakfast and was well served! A nice thing was also that we could use the kitchen and make same light dishes on our own in the evening. The grocery shop was just around the corner. The bus stop to get to and from the rail way station was very close. Don't miss the opera in the Arena!!
