It was a good stay.The rooms are a little bit small. The hosts are verry friendly.For a short stay it`s a good adress.

A very pleasant place with very pleasant people, cooperative and kind. Excellent breakfast with much variety. I am sure it is wonderful in summer; one loses the advantage of the terrace, view and charm in winter, which is not their fault. Only gripe is that it was FREEZING in the bedrooms. They put on the heater when we arrived and it was so cold we had to go out. They MUST put it on a couple of hours earlier, at least, and leave it on all night on a cold winter night (which they did when we asked them to). I, who love baths, did not take advantage of the lovely bathroom because stripping was too unpleasant! For that reason I would only recommend it for a warm-weather stay, which is a pity. Lovely village nearby, DolceAqua, with charming restaurants. Where I put an 0 it is for questions that for one reason or another cannot be answered. The 7 for the overall stay is only because of the freezing cold; the rest was excellent.

We were lodged in the smaller room (which is very small...). This can create discomfort a bit. There is a bathroom only for three rooms...you are in the hands of the other guests and their kindness! Anyway the location is very nice and the host's welcoming is excellent.

You have to share the bathroom with others hosts... Difficult to find. The owner is nice and kind.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stop-over here. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, who also recommended an excellent restaurant nearby. Dolceaqua with its labyrinth of medieval alleyways is less than 10-minutes'drive. The view from the terrace where we had a nice breakfast is wonderfully panoramic. As the house is not that easy to reach/find you might well take the host up on his offer on the web-site to give him a ring asking for assistance.

This is a private B&B located high on a hill overlooking the the coast. The owner is very engaging and provided an informative and relaxing environment. She also made dinner reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. This was a wonderful experience and a good change of pace from the hotels we typically stayed at.

The hotel is on an exceptional level. The hospitality ad the quality of service are wonderful as well as the very villa. The only inconvenience is the higher location in the mountains and the necessity to go to the nearest restaurant by car.

The ad on the website doesn't do justice to "Villa degli ulivi". My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the grounds were at this Villa. This was my first time in Italy and despite having a detailed map of the area, we were able to figure out how to find the Villa. Once there, the hosts welcomed us warmly, led us to the rooms, and gave us some time to relax and unwind from our journed. The hosts also were very helpful in providing maps of the area and making suggestions on what to see and where to eat. The breakfast provided with the room was delicious and quite extensive. We were served on the patio; the Villa is up in the mountains and affords a beautiful view of the town below as well as the sea. Our stay at the Villa was easily the highlight of our journey.

You need a car to get to this B&B. Alberto and his wife were wonderful and drove us wherever we wanted to go, but you will feel stranded without a car. They were wonderful hosts and we would return to this secluded place in the hills. If you go, head to Dolceaqua and walk through the Medieval town. Absolutely gorgeous!
