Very friendly & welcoming staff. Good continental breakfast. Quiet location which is close to the central sights. Tip - eat away from the St Mark's square area (prices high & quality iffy): the Zaguri staff provided great tips for decent restos to try out.

Location was totally wonderful, just away from the hubbub of St Marc's halfway from there to the accademia bridge and very close to the giglio Vaporetto stop. First sight out my window in the morning: two gondoliers setting up for the day. Huge room with a striking blown glass chandelier, odd furnishings, a bit decaying-palazzo, with a sproingy bed. Breakfast was limited and not too appealing with cold boiled eggs, one type of old fruit, toast and packaged rolls; server who did not want to make more than one cappuchino. Worst breakfast I've had in Italy. The last day it was a bit better with a choice of fresher fruit and some breakfast cake. That day the server was different and happy to make refills.

A wonderful old Venetian Palazzo from 1400s refurbished internally to a high standard. Mario received us as staff had left when we arrived. We were presented with a bottle of bubbly on arrival as it was our 50th wedding anniversary the following day. Staff the next day very pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was 5 star with excellent sleeping and washing facilities. Could have done with coffee making facilities in the room but the B&B is very close to restaurants, shops and transport. (Get off the water bus at Giglio and its a three minute walk). Can't fault the facilities at all. will certainly book again when next in Venice. Being such an old building there is no lift for those who can't make the stairs. Breakfast was excellent with real fresh cheese (a large round brie) which made a refreshing change from the processed cheese we had been presented with at other establishments. Excellent. 4 wonderful nights here.

These are not luxury accommodations, but very pleasant, complete, useful, central, well-managed, restful. Everything is included in the price, except for the newly levied "tourist" tax (which is very low). Mr. Mario is knowledgeable and takes his time in sharing his love of Venice. I will certainly return there in the future.

The accomodation at Zaguri is fairly basic, brekfast is ok and some rooms do not have windows with outside views. That said the property is clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the location is superb. Less than 5 mins to St Marks and just over 5 mins to Rialto, it's also worth mentioning that the property is only 2 minutes from the Acadamia bridge. Also No. 2 Vaporetto stops at Acadamia. I would stop at Zaguri again.

No view but a brilliant location! As the room had it´s own (nice) bathroom it felt like a small, basic hotel rather than a B&B. Breakfast was kept simple (toast, ham, cheese, some cereal and milk, boiled eggs and cake). Very pleasant atmosphere, warm welcoming, touristbooks to lend fot instance. We will definitely book it again. The only complaint concerns the host who wrongly informed us about the boat to the airport, and if we hadn´t checked for ourselves we would have missed it.

INCREDIBLE location. Just 5 min walk from St Mark's Square. Near a vaporetto stop. On a waterway with a view of the gondolas and waterway from the bedroom window of a 4 person room. Spacious. Quiet. Perfect accommodation to feel like a true Venetian. Would look on google earth before coming to familiarize yourself with its location. Right next to many food options. AC wasn't working. Fan on ceiling was good. Shower/bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was sufficient. Small refrigerator in room wasn't cold. Complimentary large water bottle was thoughtful. Loved it.

A well refurbished room with sufficient space and a very nice bathroom but on a ground floor without window which had not been advised(for a very high price as usual in Venice).

This B&B is a great value and I have no hesitation in recommending it. While there are only three rooms, they are a good size with good bathroom. A good breakfast was provided. Since there is only a full staff in the morning, advise them of your arrival time and someone will be available to let you in and offer a welcoming drink, plate of snacks and any information you need. It is an easy walk from the Giglio vaporetto stop on Route 1.

This B&B was quiet, clean, spacious and in a great location; close to a water bus stop, designer shopping and St. Mark's Square. The staff was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to get requested information to us. The breakfast was okay but did not have as many offerings as the other places we stayed in Italy. This is likely because of the size of the property though.
