Windows could use screens. I had to keep room window closed due to mosquito problems. Fan helped but I would have loved the fresh air. Breakfast is not in the room. You get a coupon for coffee & croissant next door, which is ok. Location is great. Reception very friendly and helpful. Like other posters said, no washcloths and if you like thick towels, bring our own.

We stayed in 21in -22out september in Venice in Trinida hotel. Here are some points to be improved. 1. No soap or shampoo in both shared baths, only a bottle of liquid soap in one of the bath 2. No good breakfast as some of the other customers says, very poor 3. No owner appears, only written note on the door to call a number. And after 3 calls, ask to collect the key from a bar near the hotel or else to wait for 1.5 hours 4. check in and check out at the same time when leaving the hotel.. 5. It seams not a serious place Mehmet Tugran IHR7481606

It's certainly Bed, but does not rate as Breakfast. Checking in is too complex, unless you make it between 0800 and 1000 in the morning. Once you are in, it's better.

B&B Trinita was not as advertised at all. They are listed as a Bed & Breakfast, but the breakfast was a voucher for a nearby coffee shop that opened late. The last morning there, we didn't get breakfast because the coffee shop opened after we had to leave to catch the train. Neither the bathroom or the bedroom were clean. They don't tell you until after you book that the bathroom is shared. And trying to call to make sure there was someone there to meet us was difficult. The instructions on how to get to the facility were not clear either. While we were in Venice for only a couple of days, it was dampened by staying at Trinita.

we stayed at the trintà for two nights. Didn´t see any other people, because it is an appartement on the fourth floor with only four rooms. Two bathrooms are outside the rooms. It was o.k. and very central in the city centre. The owner was very friendly. You have to call there before you arrive that sombody is there to open the door.

We were all very upset. We went based only on all the feedback that Venere.com had supplied. what a mistake! no hot water, communial showers and bathroom, noisy rooms as you can hear people comming back late at night. Early in the morning you would wake up to reception, promised a view of venice which we did not get and that the place does not even have! There is no way you could stay here when its heading into late june as their is no aircon and it would be way too hot. No proper towels every day we had (kind of like sheet material) they arent washed every day either so we had dirty towels for 4 nights...not cool!! we had 3 singlw beds in a room and one of them was an uncomptable strectcher EVEN though we all paid full price. Dont reccomend breakfast is sugared croissaint and fruit concentrate. This is a hostel!!!!

The girl that wellcoming us very well. We stay in a four rooms flat with two bathrooms, but the room and bedrooms furniture are very old and has a funny smell. I dont recommended it.

I stayed in double room without own toilet facilities. The room was clean and there was enough space. The biggest disadvantage was the lack of the silence in the Bed and Breakfast place. The walls were like from paper and you could hear really well what happened inside neighbour rooms.

We stay in Trinita from 30 Dec to 2 Jan 2009. The Location is perfect. Easy to find. Need to walk up 3 floors of stairs but we dont mind that. We were 3 hours later than we said but the lady was still there waiting for us. Convenient to walk around Venice. On NYE we even received a bottle of champagne and a big cake as present. Breakfast delivered to the room. Nice coffee. The lady that check us in gave us helpful advise on how to travel wise and cheap using the waterbus, and where to eat. Both me and my partner enjoy the stay and will stay there again if we have chance.

Though the bathrooms are not attached, this place is really nice and the people that run it very wonderful. I even got a free boat trip on the owner's boat through the canal. Breakfast is served in your room and is excellent was well. Overall a very pleasant experience and I can recommend it to all.

Pros - friendly staff, near train station. Cons - hard to find in little side alley in middle of food market. Not recommend for young people!!!

Trinita B&B is really close to the main street of Venice that goes from Piazale Roma to the Rialto. We had in our room a beautiful view inside inside the block of the B&B. To be short, we enjoyed a lot our short stay in Trinita and surely we recommand it. For the very young couples, it's a better solution than the Youth Hostel of the Giudecca: it's just a few more expensive but you have a real room and it is in Venice.

Quality vs. Price bothered me most. Both mornings we stayed there, hot water was running for just a few minutes, so it looked like a general rule, not a single event. We could not have a minimal decent shower. Breakfast was so not worth (a small cappuccino, a small slice of bread, a small brioche, a small cheese and a small apricot gem, but tons of sugar instead!) The owner said at the beginning of the stay that we can ask for anything, but then she did not show up again. I was denied another slice of bread by the maid, in the kitchen (we got just one each!)

This was a good spot to be. They asked for email reply's in which they do give precise instructions on how to get there. You need it because it will be hard to find without these. Everything is close by including he train station. Breakfast is basic but so is many other places in Italy. You get clean accommodation for the price and the other aspect is that it is typically authentic. Would stay here gain if in Venice.

We thought this was a very nice b&b, except for the lack of air-conditioning. It was stiflingly hot during the day, and very hot overnight, which made for a poor sleep! If you're travelling in spring/autumn/winter it would be fine. I presume they had heating for the colder months. Not recommended for summer visitors.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We chose this location because of its proximity to the station. The building is very old and run down and the rooms were a little dirty, but it was safe and very good value for money. The bathroom was in very good condition. Noise traveled quite a bit from room to room. But as I say, we were quite happy.

the location is good. it is close to the train station and water bus stop. the direction could be more precise. it is actually only 15 minutes walking distance from the train station, but it took us almost an hour to find the place. There is no sign on the street so you need following the street number to find the place. Staff is warm and helpful. The shared bathroom is clean and available most time. The only problem we had was our king size bed which the bed frame is larger than the matress, so my husband and I kept bumpping into the bed frame.

Excellent. Staff couldn't be nicer. Room very pleasant and good size - we had a 3-person room. Big double-bed in one room, 2 single beds in a small room to the side for our daughter. Bathroom isn't en suite - which we knew - clean, perfectly adequate. Breakfast served in the room is quite a nice touch. Although it's not cheap compared with elsewhere in Italy, I think for Venice this is probably a good deal. Location is excellent, as it's near to the train station which is what really counts for most people given the transport arrangements in Venice. Great area to explore, too - the old Jewish quarter, very quiet, but interesting - then you're also right by the main drag of San Leonardo (I think) but in a very quiet side street.

Excellent location. One member of staff couldn't do enough to help, give advice etc, but the other was quite abrupt. Very secure and quiet, and breakfast plentiful. Only two problems, which I suppose are related to the age of the property: You couldn't have a shower if the toilet had just been flushed, as there wasn't enough water to go around; and you couldn't use the hairdryer if breakfast was being prepared, as the electrical system couldn't handle it! However, I would return to this B&B.

The rooms were clean and spacious but we were not housed in the building corresponding to the photos. Ours was simply crumbling down on the outside though inside it was an old but well-kept building. The service was competent and the people were very welcoming but there is no doubt that setting a specific time to arrive, even during the day, is just not convenient for a traveller. And if you don't, you just find no one to open the door for you.

The hostel is great in terms of cleanness and quietness! Although it could be hard to locate if you arrive in Plazza Roma. The instructions given online is difficult to follow, but if you ask around and look around, you should be able to find it. Overall, it is quite a comfortable place to stay at. Loved the breakfast offered in the morning. Price can be a bit high, but Venice is expensive anyway. Staff were helpful in general. I would recommend it.

We had a lovely time at b&b trinita. The area was great because it was right in front of a small open market where you can buy fresh fruits, etc, and also many shops and restaurants. We were greeted at the bus station and led to the property, so we did not have any trouble finding the place. The room was nice and quiet and clean. Internet point and laundry right in front. We would definitely go back and recommend this place! p.s. the restaurant that was recommended was great!

Unbelievable value for Venice. Breakfast in bed was a nice touch and made it feel more private, since otherwise we were on our own. Lots of restaurants nearby at relatively good prices; also close to vaporetto and train station. The place feels very old but still beautiful... a lot like Venice.

This is a late review for this Bed & Breakfast we stayed in about one year ago. We had a great experience at this place. We wanted to stay in the island of Venice, and this hotel is in a great location, close to the St. Lucia train station. Needless to say we were a bit lost upon arriving in Venice. The streets are small and the city is a bit of a labirynth. The Owner of the Trinita, had scheduled to meet me in front of the B&B at the time of our arrival. However since he was passing by the train station when I called him to say we had arrived, he picked us up by boat! What a welcome into the city! We were a bit worried as this would be our first experience with a shared bathroom. However, it wasn't a problem at all. This B&B had only three rooms and two full bathrooms. Although the other rooms were occupied as well, we never saw anyone, nor had to wait to use the bathrooms, which were always extremely clean. There is also a sink inside the room, which helps as well. We stayed for two nights and the owner asks us what we want for breakfast the night before, so that it is brought to our room the following morning. The room was big for European standards, and although the building was very old, it was well maintained. Venice is incredible, and I recommend everyone to stay in the city, even if you have to give up a little bit of comfort or spend a little more money. Overall we had a great experience and would stay at this B&B again.

Good quality B&B (so don't expect cable TV, internet or en suite bathroom) in an interesting part of Venice, away from the most crowded areas. 25mins to St Marks Square, if you hurry, but close to vaporetto stop. I am realy satisfied with location and service .The stuff is incredibly polite, caring and helpful. Rooms and showers are clean and there one can experience the atmosphere of living in a real Venice house. The breakfast was simple, served in the room and always in time. The railwaystation, boattram and busstation is in a distance of about 10 minutes. Also the centre of city is in a reachable distance on foot. Think that this is the right place for more serious people, couples and families not so much for youngsters. Of course, very much depends on the guests themselves.

Trinia is a lovely little propery very welcoming staff , lovely people we were met at 2am at the coach by Ignor where he walked us to the property and checked us in - probably would of never found the propery otherwise ass a little hidden. We were met by Alexandra in the morning the hotelier who was lovely and very accomodating . These appartments arent massive but very clean , its 2 bathrooms to 4 rooms but bathrooms are absolutely spotless and cleaned twice a day we had no problem sharing. Breakfast is served to room with a choice of hot drinks , and toast , croissants and rolls with jam , cheese plenty to get you started for the day - you can also request what time you require your breakast to be delivered which is a bonus. These appartments are 10/10 ony downfall is if you struggle walking or unfit you have 3 flights of stairs to climb to arrive Trinia which can be tiring with walking over bridges all day in venice. Apart from that would defantly stay again gorgeous place for the cost you pay.

the room was quite okay, the bed&breakfast is situated in an appartment buidling. it feels a little bit like living in a real venician flat. to share a bathroom wasn't a big deal, what i thought at the beginning. the breakfast was (for italian measures) good, for an average european little. there are two things to mention that sorrowed me: it was a bit difficult to find the street, because its a piccolissima calle. but the renter explained it very calmly and fine so after 45min we could find it. the other thing was that he overbooked his b&b and we could only stay for one night. for the 2nd we had to move. fortunatelly it wasn't far and the standard was even better, it was 3* hotel and we payed the same price. in the end we were very satisfied, except from the aspect that venice is an extrem expensive city.

My four girlfriends and I stayed at Trinita (2 br and 3 br), and we had a very pleasant experience. Just for some backround on our trip- we were pseudo-backpacking after college graduation and had planned to stay mostly in nicer hostels and budget accomodations. This was definitely the nicest place we stayed. If you're backpacking and looking for a social hangout, this is probably not the place for you. But for families, couples, or groups who are looking for a nice, clean, and comfortable stay that won't break the bank, it's perfect. The location is also great (and it's really not hard to find- they give you very detailed directions). The only downside was that it was on the third floor of the building (heavy bags), and the owners don't live there, so make sure that you call them once you arrive so they can meet you with the key (they will tell you to do this also). Overall great experience for the money. And the breakfast in bed is awesome!

We loved this B&B. Sandro, the owner, met us and was very personable and helpful. We found it very easy to find even though others commented it was difficult. It was very easy to get to from the airport and easier to get to the train station when we had to leave. Our room was spacious enough with a great view. It is located in a perfect place in Venice - easy access to the water bus and all the attractions. We loved being so close to shops, great restaurants and the canal. We will return somesay.

Very handy spot as its 8 min walk from the train station. For Venice price/quality is very good. You have to call them first day as they are not there all the time which for travellers with no mobile or foreign one is not that handy, no common area for breakfast so it's served in the room which is not that spacious. Other than that the person in charge is very nice and will give you any advice you want (and more). I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Venice with low budget.

First problem we faced we couldn't find the B&B. In the begining we crossed wrong bridge and walk half of Venice and only after that we realized that we got lost. When we found a place we understood that it was very easy to find but not in a rush. B&B is on the 4th floor, stairs are very high. The room is very simple, but nice with very old venecian features. 2 bathrooms are outside the room, I wouldn't say that I can complain about it. It was clean. We wanted to pay by Visa and mentioned about it during our check-in and a girl answered that tomorrow you would do it witout any problem. In the morning we asked maneger about it, but he didn't know it, so he proposed to do it next day. Next day we were leaving and he did a proposal for cold breakfast because nibody would come so early only for us. In the evening we didn't find anything for us, so maybe it's mistake or somebody forgot it. The main point was that we hadn't proposed, it was magager's proposal. Just near B&B you can find some resturants with normal prices, 100m minishop. During the day just in front of small street where the B&B minimarket takes place where you can buy fruits. Actually, we got what we paid and this was ine of the smallest prices that I could find in internet. For the next if I go, I would return there for sure.

Upon landing in Venice, we called the bed-and-breakfast. The host was extremely helpful. He gave us good tips on how to get there, what water-bus passes to buy and directions to the bed and breakfast. If you're landing there in the night, it may be a little hard to find, as you have to walk into a gate and the B&B is at the left towards the end of that gated path. The bed and breakfast is in the middle of most of the key vista points. It's accessible by foot and by the water bus. The location was extremely convenient. The breakfast was enough. I won't say it was grand, but it's more than sufficient to sustain you through the morning and up until lunch. The accommodation was ordinary but clean. The bathrooms are common bathrooms but they are clean. Overall, I had a very good experience staying at Trinita. In summary, I will definitely recommend this place for the following reasons. Location : central to the vista points in Venice. I would definitely recommend it for the location. 10 minutes walk to the train station; Room: Clean and tidy. Don't expect 4 star accommodation. Placed inside, so you're not disturbed by outside noise. No lift access. and it's at the highest floor (or one below). So, expect a climb; Breakfast: Sufficient; Host: Speaks decent English, very friendly, nice and helpful. Gives a lot of pointers on vista points and restaurants.

B&B Trinita was a real find, it is beautiful, romantic and secluded, a little gem. We had a wonderful time - it was particularly special as my boyfriend proposed while we were there! and we wished we could have stayed longer, if we go to Venice again we would definitely go back. Very welcoming and helpful hosts, clean, spacious, peaceful, pretty, antique furniture, very Venetian. Breakfasts are yummy and it's a real treat to have it delivered to your room at whatever time you wish. We never heard or saw any of the other guests and the shower and bathroom were always free when we wanted, also basin in room which is great. The location was perfect for everything and the district it is in has got a lovely feel, very relaxed and off the beaten track. I highly recommend.

Close to the train and bus stations (you can walk unless you have lots of luggage), a market and places to eat but away from the big tourist crowds. Ideal for us!

Trinita is a reasonably nice property in a very expensive city. For the location it is an excellent deal. It is on a quiet alley just off one of the main Venice sidewalks, about 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The stairs are quite steep, would be tough for people with a lot of luggage or elderly. The people working there are very nice and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were kept quite clean.

The breakfast is very nice and delicious. And the location is really near the market and water bus station, so it is very convenienet for visitor. The receptionist introduced us one great seafood restaurant, the food is really fresh and good, althoug the price is not cheap but it is worthy. If we have chance to visit there agiain, we would like to go that restaurant again.

good quality for the price, clean big rooms, nice furniture. Quiet though in a crowded street. Good service from the staf and decent breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. Only trouble was to find the place, but follow the numbers of the houses and ask when near. I give this place my best recommandation.

Well, we were in Venice so does it really matter? It was listed as a B&B but it was a room in a building, the room was huge but completely void of any personality at all. The young women that greeted us was nice and helpful. We could here everything from the girls in the next room, like 6 18yr olds. We are young 41 yr olds but scared to be romantic incase everyone could here. The breakfast was nice and brought to our room, basic but ok. Shared bathroom was ok also, Hard to find, get better directions! We were there for other things so, the area was good lots to see and do. If on a budget stick to the tourist menu and know eat and drink at bar much cheaper. We loved Venice and most people were pleasant some great help. Murano has good food at good prices. I would probably try to find place with more atmosphere, but if couldn't for price would return.

Amazing location. Close to train station and yet you can walk to everything. We had to call when we got there because there is not someone always there... unless you tell them when you are arriving. It was a nice breakfast and a nice room. There's not really a common area, just the room. It had a mini-fridge and shared a bathroom with the room next door. Seems like it is part of an apartment.

People are very friendly, room and bathroom were very clean and our room was comfortable enough. The only thing which made the stay a bit "sad" (...) was the lack of a proper window in the room, which made us feeling ourselves as in a dark space...

The accomodations were fine. However we arrived late at night and there was no way to recognize the hotel. If someone had not spoke to us we never would have found it. Also we are senoirs and the climb up the 3 floors was tough after a day of travel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the over all stay was nice. A double room on a lower floor would have been better, however. thanx

Only problem with B&B is that if you arrive after say 8 / 9pm; you need to call the person who would come in 10-15 minutes to check in. I reached at 10pm and it was raining; the gentleman arrived at 10:45pm and wasn't a pleasant thing to do. Secondly; I had to leave on my last day early in the morning; even though the person promised me to keep some cold breakfast; but it wasn't kept and I had to pay full without breakfast for the 3rd day of my stay. Thirdly; there is no lift. And fourthly; barring one person; there is terrible language problem for non-English persons.

This was well situated, close to the train station when you arrive in Venice. Saved us money from water taxi or bus in which we saw a lot of people had to get on in order to get to their hotel. The place was a little hard to find but the service was good. THe only I'll say about this place is that it needs of a major renovation because the place was very old. The room feels like there is not enough ventilation very stuffy feeling and small, I know there is a fan (not ceiling fan, just a standing one in the room) but that didn't help on my sleep. The place is quiet and clean. But would not come back again cause of the room stuffiness.

We stayed in Venice for three days (two nights) at the Trinita. It was well situated, close to the vaporettos and it's probably an area we would have not explored if we had stayed by the touristy sites! It was lovely and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area (turn right and pass the bridge - it's heaving with lovely places!). As many young couples out there we were on a tight budget. I would therefore say that Trinita is definitely good value for money and it's clean which is a great bonus! The staff is very welcoming and helpful and you get breakfast in bed! We were just a little disappointed with our room as it was smaller than we thought but it's only a detail. Overall I recommend it to the people who like us love travelling but can't afford 5 star hotels!

Friendly, cheap and cheerful! Easy to walk from the train station (10mins max)although the B+B isn't the easiest to find as there is no sign on the alley that it is on nor one at the foot of the stairs that you have to climb (steep climb and not for the unfit with luggage). Directions from the website and over the phone were most useful. Welcoming, friendly staff. Breakfast was served in the rooms and is more than adequate with rolls, croissants, juice and choice of hot drink. Shared bathrooms (2 for 5 rooms) but not a problem as they were always clean, and both have a shower/bath. Would definately recommend it to other travellers.

Trinita was a great place to stay in Venice and a welcome change from the noise and business of Rome. We arrived in Venice and called Trinita and they gave us directions to the B&B by waterbus. Well halfway there, the waterbus broke down. I called them up to let them know, and Santro (sp?) just laughed and said he would take his own boat and come pick us up. We were very grateful and also impressed by such hospitality. The B&B is located in a nice neighborhood made up up small shops and apartments and a few restaurants. Very nice and very quiet at night. The main tourist areas, in my opinion, are not worth spending the money on if you sacrifice the peace and quiet of Venice. It's a beautiful city. The room we stayed in was clean as were the bathrooms. Breakfast was sufficient and the service was great. The ONLY drawback of this place is the stairs. Our luggage was a bit heavy since Venice was one of the last stops on our European tour and there are 3 1/2 flights of stairs to climb. If that doesn't bother you, then this is the place to stay. Without heavy luggage, you should be fine ( a bit winded perhaps, but fine.) I would definitely recommend Trinita for your stay. And while in Venice, as with any foreign place, learn some Italian and use it. We expect people to use our language in our own country, we should offer the same respect. People were pleased when I used my small vocabulary of Italian words and were very helpful. Have fun with it!

We expected that the stay in the B&B will be very nice and comfortable after reading the comments on the website. However, the stay there was so so or OK considering the quality vs. price. Probably we felt that because we could luckily stay at 3 and 4 star hotels in other cities in Italy for cheaper price. As the flat is quite old and the wall seemed very thin, the sound and voices which can be heard from the next kitchen and office in the moring was a bit annoying. We could hear everything they are doing and talking. Many comments on the website says that there were 2 bathrooms shared by 3 groups of guests and there is no problem. But this time, there were 4 groups of guests there and the bathrooms were crowded in each morning. As there are four female guests then, each room was occupied quite long time. Showers and a toilets are in a same room, so it made it more inconvenient. Other small things also toubled us or made us uncomfortable, but it was not terrible stay. The people working there smiled to us, the rooms were clean, and we were outside to explore Venice most of the time there. So we would say that it was a nice experience to stay there.

We arrived by train and followed the emailed directions without any problems. As is the case with much of Europe, Trinita is NOT handicap enabled. We walked up two flights of stairs to our room. The ground floor door locked and the front door on our floor locked and the room door locked - we felt very safe and secure and the neighborhood is very quite. We are a family of 4 (20 yo. daughter and 17 yo. son). We stayed together in the same room. The room was larger than I expected and the portable A/C was very welcome since Venice/Europe was having a untimely heat wave. The room and bath were exceptionally clean. The bed was a little soft for me, but the futon was firm and I preferred that. The shower stall was tiny - you had to be small and limber to bend over to wash your feet or else open the shower door. There was a bidet in the bath and my wife found that more convenient. There is a self-serve laundry across the street from Trinita and a clothes line outside the hallway windows for what did not get completely dry. The breakfast was Spartan, bread with jam/soft brie-like cheese, juice and tea or coffee to your liking. There is a produce market that gets set up each day on the main street leading to Trinita, we supplemented the breakfast with some fresh fruit. All in All, we were pleased with the location and accomodations. We would consider staying there again.
