Bed and Breakfast Leonardo - Venice

We stayed in Leonardo’s B&B for 5 nights and were surprised of the very nice welcoming we had. Leonardo is very nice and helpful and you clearly see that he wants his hosts to feel good in his house. You can use the kitchen whenever you want, very convenient, and you clearly feel at home. The area is wonderful, the house is cute and rooms are very good (simple, clean and very convenient). Everything was perfect (or so), except one thing : the rooms are poorly soundproofed. We were on the 2nd floor and we could hear everything that was happening on the 3rd floor… So I would clearly recommend this B&B, but just take some earplugs if you’re sensitive to noises! One other thing : all the rooms have a private bathroom (the room on the 1st floor has its bathroom on the groundfloor, but it remains private).

B&B Leonardo was excellent. It is right off of the Ca Rezzonico Vapporetto stop, and was very easy to get to. The room was suprisingly spacious, and perfectly clean. While it was simple, everything necessary was there. The owner, Leonardo was very friendly anxious to please. He made himself readily available to us by Mobile phone, even when he was out of the B&B. Be aware the staircase inside is narrow, larger or older people may have a difficult time, but for us it was no problem at all. Venice was amazing, and when we come back, we will be staying at this place again, i cant recommend it more!

My wife and I chose B&B Leonardo as an alternative to a standard hotel and were very pleased with the outcome: quiet, small, well-located establishment with generous sized rooms, all for a very reasonable price. With no wifi, this may not be the spot for business travelers, but with it's easy access by vaporetto, quick walking distance to all the tourist areas, and very quiet and cozy neighborhood, we found B&B Leonardo to be perfect for our four-day stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, ideal location for sight-seeing. plenty of good, relatively inexpensive local places to eat in. Leonardo and his family were very hospitable. Would stay there again and can recommend it. Only suggestion is that the welcome email be sent a day earlier than present, we only got it on our return.

Beautifull B&B in Dorsudoro. Out of the tourist path and near some very good and very affordable restaurants. Only drawback is you hear a lot of noise from the other room over your head.

Ground floor : our Bathroom with the kitchen for all, and bedroom first floor. No welcoming to arrive, we are necessary call with phone the owner.

Despite being in a very quaint, small, picturesque location the downside is that it is a very long walk from the main attractions, especially when you are on a short break. If you are staying on the first floor the bathroom facilities are located on the ground,needless to say it is shared, and therefore I consider this bed & breakfast overpriced and was unfortunate not to know beforehand that you have to pay by cash in order to settle the bill due to not having card facilities. It is a family run bed & breakfast, breakfast is rather small and limited in choice. Be aware as well of the front door - the lock can be tricky.

We would definitely recommend bnb Leonardo. Lovely room and very clean, perfect location for my 1st time on the Island. Service was excellent; once we had left the bnb to travel down to Tuscany we realised we had left something valuable in our room and Leonardo took the time to ensure it was delivered to us by courier before we left for the UK.

Leonardo B&B is well located, the owner is helpful and friendly, for the price is a good alternative. Just bare in mind than the location is a path for loud tourist at night time, and if you happen to stay at the 3th floor you will participate in all the "noises" from the floor above but overall is a good place.
