Strategic position in the heart of the city: 5 minutes from : railway station, Fraris Church, waterbus stop (Line # 1) San Stae.Ten minutes from Piazzale Roma car terminal.

This little guesthouse in Venice is one of the best I have ever been to.I am a long time traveller in many european countries. It has an atmosphere of a little home away from home, nice old furniture probably bought in a fleamarket, small cactuses in the kitchen windows and all kinds of little things to brighten up your day. It is stationed a short walk from the railway station and another short walk from the Rialto bridge, and between your little home away from home is a wonderous walk through the narrow streets of Venice to the bridge. the host Marco is a very warm and helpful young man, who woluntered to meet us at the station and helped us carry the heavy luggage like nothing was more natural in the world. Told how strong he was he replied "No I´m not strong I´m just used to it. I have lived my whole life in Venice and everybody has to carry everything". Il giardino di Giulia is situated in a very old street that ends in a canal right beside the hotel. The house is old and worn so do´nt panic because a plesant surprise will be waiting for you on the third floor.

A clean, well equiped apartment for the price of a B&B-room. Located near the center, but so quite that you can sleep with window open. Very friendly hosts who give You all the help needed without being importunate. Highly recommended!

How to reach B&B Il Giardino di Giulia

How to arrive:

By train: Get off at Venezia Santa Lucia. Then from there take the steamer (Line #1, in the direction of Rialto to the San Stae stop), which is about a 10-minute trip, or arrive on foot (5 7 minutes).

By car: We suggest that you leave your car in the parking lot behind the Mestre train station because it is more economical. Then take the train to Venice, which takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Venice Station take the steamer or come on foot.

By plane: From the airport, there is a bus that goes to Venice which stops at Piazzale Roma. At this point you can take the steamer (Line #1).

We usually come to pick up our guests when the steamer stops at San Stae or at the foot of the bridge that is in front of the station in order to accompany them to the house.
