A fabulous bed and breakfast in a quiet courtyard, which is just a step away from the Grand Canal and centrally located for all the sights of the city. Large spacious room and beautiful bathroom. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff and the haven courtyard is a lovely setting for great breakfasts.

Excellent location in a quite side street. Initially hard to find. On the back of their business card is a easy to understand map. Excellent and friendly staff to help with day to day travel information. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

We had an excellent stay at Corte 1321 the room was lovely and the breakfast was the best of all the hotel and B & B breakfasts we have had in Venice. Best restaurant in Venice by far is Vecio Fritolin and best bar is Bacaro Jazz.

Hotel was located conveniently to the Vaporetto in Venice, but was very difficult to find as it was down a very narrow road and was essentially in a dead end. Our room was clean, but small and relatively dark. Maria was very nice and was helpful in making restaurant suggestions and reservations. Breakfast was very good and was in the garden area which was beautiful. All in all, we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Location, attention and breakfast were perfect, but not the direccions to get there. As soon as you get off the Vaporetto at the San Silvestro Stop, the B&B is NOT "right there". It's about 300 metres which, in Venice, it's not easy to find. After half an hour walking, I have to call the hotel and Larry had to pick us up. We wasted our time asking for direccions in bars or "gondolieries" on the street.(and they were only 100 metres from the B&B !!) The B&B is located in one of the shortest and narrowest strees in Venice. Even a GPS was useless. Nice breakfast served in a patio and a very good location. ALso Larry (from California) was very kind and helpful.

Our stay was just one night, however it was delightful and very pleasant. Great folks who are simply out to help, provide ultra comfort in a beautiful setting for a very reasonable price. Corte 1321 is a treasure and rare 'hideaway' within a busy and hustling tourist town like Venice. Highly recommended for those seeking absolute quiet and privacy within steps from all the action and sites of Venice.

This is a wonderful place, and, if you can afford it, and if you want to see the Rialto Market opening up in the morning, as we did, stay here!! There was a glitch, and our hosts dod not have our reservation. They were not at the property when we arrived, but we called, then waited in the courtyard and were settled in our room in 15 minutes. This served as a reminder to me that this can happen anytime you book on line, so in the future, I will call every hotel and B and B to be sure they have my reservation. Lesson learned. Another thing to note – so much of the charm of Venice and Corte1321 lay in the architecture – hidden courtyards with your rooms opening on to them. It’s worth pointing out that the behavior of all guests, and perhaps others living in the same building, can have an impact on the quality of your stay. Random whoops of laughter, shouting, celebrating and what not are likely to occur – just go with the flow and you’ll be fine. If you need the assurance of total peace and quiet, stay on a different island, one of the less travelled ones. It’s not easy to describe how beautiful the room is – we stayed in one next to the kitchen – no noise there – and it’s absolutely lovely. Very fresh and elegant, with a spacious bathroom, lovely bed and beautiful lighting.

We had a fantastic stay in Venice. Our host gave lots of great tips on where to eat and what to see. The directions were perfect but watch out the "streets" in Venice are very narrow and can be missed. There is a good Co-Op around the corner for anything you need. Corte 1321 is to be highly recommended.

This was an accommodation with character and individuality and it was obvious that staff and owner wanted to provide a good service. But even accepting that this was Venice, it was still a high price to pay for a bed and breakfast service. The breakfast was enhanced by the freshly bought bakery goods, although we would have preferred other than sweet bakery goods.

Corte 1321 was easy to find because of intense research on internet before arrival.Step off the vaporetto at San Silvestro,go straight forward(means zig-zag in Venice)and you will soon reach Campo S.Aponal after Campo San Silvestro)Turn to the left at the upper corner of Campo S.Aponal.Then walk slowly and you´ll se Campiello Ca Bernardi on the right hand side,(a very narrow street!)some few metres from C.Aponal.Distances in Venice are smaller than you´d might think. Our host immediatelly opened the doors when we rang the bell. Our tripleroom was some few steps down from the groundfloor;in other words almost at the level of the canal.But..our room(called the garden-room)had directly connection to the beautiful garden;an oasis of an atrium which is seldom in Venice. We spent some time in the garden for relaxation and contemplation during our short stay. Our room was spacious and the beds are very comfortable.Air condition in the room was highly needed and used because of humidity and high temperature outside. The bathroom was small but functional and well equipped. We even had a kitchen with fridge and a stove. (You´ll find a Coop-store just around the corner if you want to supply the breakfast for instance.Scandinavians are used to boiled eggs, ham and cheese, less sweet cakes for breakfast. But nothing wrong with a continental breakfast;all kinds of food were fresh!) We had a very pleasant stay at Corte 1321,a quiet spot with a magic backyard (in busy Venezia.Puha).Remember to visit the small Bar at Campo S.Silvestro for a nightcap.(forget Campo S.Aponal). Bars and restaurants close early in Venezia,so enjoy early nights and early mornings..And enjoy your stay at Corte1321! We did!

Venice is a fantastic place of course; and especially nice to be just slightly off the beaten path with this location. Since one should be walking in Venice anyway, to my thinking it's an asset you need a good guide map to find this B&B. First rate service all the way, from confirming reservation to being there when we arrived early, to making sure we were on schedule to get a ride to the airport on the way out. Also, our room was clean and large -- somehow we got one with a second bathroom included. Very cool since the second bathroom was the size of many typical European bathrooms, while our large bathroom had a jacuzzi tub that fit two and a separate shower.

The room was wonderful. Spacious and comfortable. The bed was the best of our entire three week trip. The bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. San Paulo is my favorite area to stay in Venice. Wonderful shops and restaurants. We had some trouble finding the B&B as the pizzaria mentioned in the directions was closed and there was construction on the little street to the Corte 1321. However, we did find it with the help of a local. We were only there one night, but we'll definitely return when we go back to Venice.

Corte 123 is a delightful B&B. The location is great for easy access to the Rialto and Grand Canal. And the room we had was like a 5-star hotel room hidden in a charming bed and breakfast (huge bed; two bathrooms!).

This was our first time in Venice and we only stayed for two days, but wish we could have stayed more. We had the best time and out of our entire European trip it was the best place that we stayed at. It was amazing and we would stay there again if ever again in Venice.

We had a wonderful stay at Corte. The owner, Amelia, did a great job making our stay comfortable. She was extremely knowledgable about the area, recommended good places to eat and visit, just a true delight. Our quad room worked very well for the four of us though it did lack privacy from our kids. Breakfasts were fine and the place is kept very clean. Although Corte is well located, it is difficult to find...at least the first couple of times. Then again, Venice is a giant maze. We would stay there again!

We got off to a bad start because the directions are TERRIBLE, which is not good for a small B&B. After we got off the vaporetto, we spent about 1 hour trying to find it, with suitcases in tow. We tried calling (no answer), asked different people and vendors, until finally a pizza restaurant called and Amelia came to meet us at the pizza place. It is actually on a street called C'Bernardo-that might help! That being said, the room was spacious, breakfast on the courtyard, great coffee, rolls, croissants for breakfast. Internet access. Amelia speaks English and is very helpful. Great location-very close to Rialto bridge to walk over to San Marco. Would stay there again now that we know how to find it!

A very nice stay -- we were well hosted and got good recommendations on where to go and eat in Venice. The owners were also really helped with calling the airport and airline to arrange delivery of our bags, which were delayed. My only comment is that the map and directions on the Venere site are really not good, which is not a good thing for a B&B in Venice! I got much more accurate directions directly from the B&B's website.

What a great find. Amelia was wonderful (her mom was in the states during our visit, so we didn't get a chance to meet her) Ca' Bernardi was clean, comfortable, quiet and a home away from home. Great spot for breakfast and "before" dinner drinks in courtyard and ask Amelia for dinner recommendations, you won't go wrong. We'll go back for sure if we get back to Venice sometime.

Very comfortable rooms with North American amenities ie: shower, water-jet bath, air conditioning (much appreciated in sweltering summer heat!) Very charming and helpful hosts. Price may seem a bit steep, but certainly in line with the cost of accommodation in tourist-busy Venice. Very clean, friendly, like being at home.

Ca' Bernardi was a lovely place to stay. Run by a young woman and her mom, they were very welcoming and friendly, speaking both English and Italian. We ended up with a huge room, bigger than we had anticipated, so we got to spread out a bit. The B&B is in a perfect location in San Polo, very close to the San Silvestro stop and in easy walking distance to the Rialto Bridge and the tourist attractions; however, it's far enough away from the hubbub to be more peaceful. The proprietess Amelia referred us to some good restaurants and we took advantage of the little library of Venice books they had for borrowing. Breakfasts were good, strong (American-style)coffee and some of the best pastries ever, so many that we took some with us for the day. The only noise issue was the local restaurant around the corner, where we were serenaded with accordion music in the evening. We didn't mind and used earplugs. It was part of the Venice ambiance. I would recommend this Asian-decorated B&B anytime.
