Bed and Breakfast Casa Sant'Andrea - Venice

The B&B is very nice place to stay in Venice. Localisation is very good, is just the problem to find this place if you did not print the map out and you have the address only! Because of that we were looking for the hotel for almost an hour, and we were just a few steps from there! The name on the door is so little that you can hardly see. The breakfast wasn't very nice and the coffee was cold... but what to expect for that little money. Lots of the rooms have a viev on the roof and car park, which is not very nice. Apart of this the B&B is realy nice place to stay and if I ever go to Venice again I stay here as well.

Very good location for both bus and train stations. Close to cruise terminal and easy access to water buses. Handy large supermarket round the corner. Clean sheets and towels every day. Could do with a soap dish in the shower! Might also benefit from a Tv room. Internet connection available, but limited to only two areas and has to be paid for. Needs better soundproofing between rooms, or at least in 204.. Overall good value for money as a 2* hotel.

It was a perfect location for what I needed. Close to the cruise port and to the Piazzale Roma. The worst problem was the noise one of the nights, made by teenagers and the fact that 8 o´clock every morning the bell next door rings.

It was a bit hard to find at the start, but not a bad place for student travellers. The staff wasn't so pleasant initially, but they were helpful when we blew a fuse in the middle of the night. Also, the heater stops working after 12pm, so if you are travelling in the winter it will get a bit cold.

We booked 3 rooms for six people and stayed for 1 night after our cruise. It's a relatively cheap place to stay. It's very clean and it's very closed to the cruise and bus terminals. We used ATVO Express bus from and to Marco Polo Airport and it worked out very well for us. If you are budget minded and not too picky, this is a place for you to stay.

This is a great value/money location . You have the piazzale roma shuttlebus terminal close by , the piazzale water bus terminal also close by , a supermarket around the corner . If you are going on a budget stay and looking to spend less money this is the place to be . Be sure to ask for a room with canal view .. it's worth it :D . Clean rooms , friendly staff // the breakfast included is pretty basic but as I said .. it's a budget location .

If you will be taking a cruise out of Venice, this is the hotel for you. This is the closest hotel to the port and it is a 15 min walk without steps! The rooms were very clean, air-conditioning worked well, helpful and informative staff, internet available near the front desk. There is a wonderful grocery store right around the corner which we used frequently for light dinners. It is quiet in the evenings around the hotel so noise was not an issue. Would highly recommend this hotel. Served great coffee at breakfast which included yogurt, cereal, breads and cheese, sweet rolls/bread.

The wifi/internet was very weak and unreliable; most of the time it did not work, and the staff did not have the technological competence to troubleshoot. The wifi needs a serious upgrade before they can advertise it. They are not ready to serve travelers who expect professional standards. Also, the bathroom sink was clogged (mechanical/plumbing issue), and the breakfast was very cheap - poor quality coffee, no fruit, almost nothing nutritious.

Casa Sant'Andrea is the ideal place for people who want to visit Venice, being in Venice downtown, without spending much money and enjoing a clean, confortable and safe stay, also for work purposes.

Breakfast was dreadful. Substandard by any measure. Room full of mosquitos on arrival. Bells of church next door ring early in morning and over fifty times in a row. Beds were too small. Convenient to Cruise ship and bus and train and vaporetta boats. No elevator and lots of stairs. Walk to entrance is on a back street that is very odorous (urine) and unscenic. Utilitarian for one night at most and expensive for value received. Would not recomment since any hotel in venice near the vaporetta stops is just as convenient.

Very clean and confortable, great for the price.
