It's a beautiful place in a great location, handsomely furnished, with a pretty garden and a rooftop deck. The staff were lovely, although rarely on the premises. Excellent coffee and fresh rolls delivered to the rooms every morning--plus a kitchen with free bottled water! My only cavil is that my bathroom wasn't fully walled off from the one next door, so I could hear the neighbors loud & clear. Aside from that privacy issue, it was heavenly!

We were warmly welcomed and the room was clean, simple and spacious. There was plenty enough storage space for the clothes and makeup that accompanies 2 women on a weekend break! The walls a little thin and the shower room small but we slept well. Kitchen and roof terrace were not used by us but would be great if we were there any longer than a weekend. The location is fantastic - away from the madding crowd but on the doorstep of it. The restaurant directly opposite the enterance to the villa is highly recommended - a real treat.

After a not very friendly welcome of Cristina we were shown to our room. The first disapointment was the fact that the bathroom was not accesable from our room. We had to cross a hallway to go to the toilet or shower. Although Cristina asked us what time we would like to have breakfast she woke us over one hour earlier with a typical (poor) italian breakfast. It is funny to see that all the noise we heard for at least one hour resulted in two cups of coffee and a prepacked piece of toast... On the bright side; The location of Casa di Sara is perfect, immidiately situated south of the bridge "galaria academia" it is a good starting point to discover Venice.

Stayed on first floor, spacious, very clean and excellent bed and towel linen service. Adequate breakfast in bedroom, but maybe a little table ( as in Ca'del Corte where we have stayed?). Good to have 24hour service as we were well received and taken to our room after 10pm.Only issue, not a complaint..quite thin walls so could hear other guests inbedroom and bathroom!

Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our bathroom and the one next door had poor sound insulation so at times it seemed like we were all in the same room.

A good place on a budget. Very near a supermarket (Billa) which is useful as they allow you to use their kitchen to cook or store cold drinks.

Linens were dirty, many mosqioto bites throughout the night, breakfast was spares and served in your room without chairs or a table...we literally were eating IN BED then sleeping in it.

The ladies were friendly and helpful, this was the first time we had stopped there. The location was excellent and being slightly away from the main thoroughfare and having a garden, made it a tranquil spot. My only critism of the room was the ajoining bathroom which had obscured glass next to the ceiling, so when the next door bathroom was used in the night, the light woke us up!!! As a general critism of Venice, we found the Italian males quite rude and they would try to rip you off at every available opportunity!!

This was a pleasant and highly satisfying place to stay. It was quiet and off the beaten track of tourists and gave a rewarding glimpse of working class Venice. The room itself was delightfully decorated, clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and considerate. My wife and I would choose it again.

Very nice place, friendly and home atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent for Italy. It is allowed to use kitchen and keep ur meal in fridge. Please, mind that room doesnt have TV! It was only one problem to find hotel's reception. It s located in other building 50 m prior Casa di Sara, so we spent several unpleasant minutes before street door trying to understand where we can find someone who ll open the door :-)

Casa di Sara was a very lovely B&B. We had some difficulty locating it-would have been helpful to know that the B&B is associated with another facility and check-in is at that facility. Were able to contact them by phone for instruction. Our greeting left little to be desired-this person was very grouchy and unwelcoming, but all other people we dealt with were very helpful. Not much information was offerred, but was available on request. Very limited breakfast, but was OK. Did like our room and location very much.

It's well located, not exactly near the tourist center (which is a good thing), but a 15 minute walk will get you anywhere you want to visit. It's surroundings are very quiet, yet a couple of blocks away from commercial streets, with lot's of shops, bars and restaurants. The room was wonderful, and spotless clean.
