exterior Bed and Breakfast Casa delle Rose exterior CASA DELLE ROSE" is a Bed and Breakfast located in a beautiful apartment on the first floor of a small palace in liberty twenty's style. Three minutes from Lido's harbour, just 15 minutes from S. Marco's square, in a nice and quite residential area the apartment, completly redecorated, has three very large and comfortable rooms. Every room has Sat-Tv, a sofa and a security box.

Bathrooms are two,"shared"; the dining room and the kitchen, where a delicious breakfast is served, are spacious and illuminous with a view of the venetian lagoon. The private garden is well looked-after and offers a relaxing corner in the summer months. Elaine and Stefano are waiting for you.

We are 3 minutes by foot from the harbour to Venice,2 minutes from the main street of the island where there are restaurants,bars,shops.We are 100 meters away from the nicest beaches of Lido and 15 minutes walking from the famous "Cinema Festival Palace".

Me and my girlfriend got our first visit in Italy september this year. Lido is a beutyful iland a short boat trip from Venezia. The local people is nice and one man where walking us to the hotel when I lost my map over lido. Casa delle Rose is the best place to stay for the value. I would realy like to go back to Italy and have our stay in Casa delle Rose.

Casa delle Rose was a great base for our Venice stay. Three of us shared a room which was clean and spacious and Stefano was an excellent host. Two bathrooms were shared between 4 rooms which was generally not a problem. Internet access was great and it was nice to escape the crowds of Venice in the evening and to arrive each morning in Venice by boat. It was also good to see a different side to Venice on Lido.

By car
From the Tronchetto car park and terminal Number 82 ACTV water bus to Piazzale Roma, then change on to number 1 ACTV water bus to the Lido stop (end of journey, 50 minutes) or the number 51 to Lido (30 minutes, end of journey).

By train
From the Piazzale Roma terminal or Venice Santa Lucia railway station
Number 1 ACTV water bus to the Lido stop (end of journey, 50 minutes through the Gran Canal..wonderfull sight!!)or the number 51 to Lido(30 minutes,end of journey).

By airplane
From Marco Polo Airport
ALILAGUNA launch (blue line running hourly from 6.40 to 23.40) to Lido's stop (40 minutes) then 2 minutes on foot. A water taxi will take you to Lido in 30 minutes.

By public transportation
Reaching Lido, you will notice a great celestial (Temple votivo) dome. Get off the boat and direct you on the left toward the cupola; walk along the lagoon, walk on the bridge and turn in the first road on the right (Via Pietro Zeno). Go on untill, on the left side, you see Via Smirne at the end of which, on the leftside, you arrive to Casa delle Rose. Welcome!!"
