Located on Lido Island, only 15 min away from San Marco square by vaporetto, it's the place to stay. You'll be welcomed by Stefano, a great and friendly host. Everything is spotless in that B & B, you feel like home. Nice area with gardens, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended

Stefano is really welcoming, ready to make your stay as nice as possible, you immediately fell at home. The breakfast is delicious. It is very near de "vaporetto" and the beach. One remark: the doors, inside, are noisy when closing. That is the only thing that coud be improved.

We had high expectations of the B&B based on the pictures on the website and the reviews of others. But the place way exceeded our hopes, particularly in relation to quality and exceptional value for money. It is an extremely comfortable place and the website pictures are an accurate portrayal of the quality of the rooms. The whole place was very clean and the bathrooms in particular were spotless. As there was only 1 other guest there on our arrival, we were given a choice of room (it was hard to choose!) and use of either bathroom. We chose a room with a separate adjoining living room solely for our use! Both bathrooms have lovely, powerful showers and one had a bath, which was lovely after a long day of exploring. I sleep very lightly and am disturbed by noise and this B&B was very quiet, in a very quiet district, with the window shutters blocking any unwanted sun prior to getting up. The mattresses were firm and supportive (ie new and not sagging). Sheets and towels were spotless. Breakfast was very filling, consisting of a choice of cereal, yoghurt, soft bread rolls, toast, various jams & spreads, cheese & ham, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Stefano the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. The fridge provided for guest use, and computer were unexpected and thoughtful additions to the communal area. There were plenty of local places to eat in the evenings. We also enjoyed being able to go to the beach at the end of the day. We would recommend this place to anyone, particularly if you are seeking quietness and a high standard of facilities with great value for money.

great hosts, great room, truly enjoyed the family style breakfast that promoted conversation with other guests. Nice touches, like slippers. Only minor complaint, Ac was in the hall not the rooms.

We were visiting Venice as part of a tour of Italy. It was our first time in the Venice/Lido area. Cassadellerosa was friendly and comfortable. It is in a nice residential area that is pleasant for morning walks. The vaporettos make it convenient to both Venice and to the airport.

Great place to stay, very welcoming, pretty, and comfortable. I don't remember the website mentioning shared bathrooms and in the bathrooms there was no hand soap provided. Remember when booking that it is located at least 30 mins from downtown Venice. Those are my only cons everything else are pros. Bed was comfy, room beautiful, service great, breakfast nice and safe location. Overall a pleasant stay.

This was the perfect location for a New Year's getaway for New Year. It caters best for young professionals in a classy yet comfortable style. Free unlimited wifi, a great breakfast spread and an amazingly knowledgeable and welcoming host in Stefano. I'll definitely return to Venice and I'll definitely stay here agan.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and Stefano was a great host providing delicious breakfasts and excellent coffee to start the day. The only small caveat we had is that the bed was not remade each day. Nevertheless, when returning to Venice we would definitely want to stay at this lovely place.

Just one comment : breakfeast is really poor, as just jam and bread is not enough. Moreover jam is not home made and host must offer cheese as well. Another comment : would be better with a presence of a lady to welcome and serve breakfeast

Casa delle Rose was a great base for our Venice stay. Three of us shared a room which was clean and spacious and Stefano was an excellent host. Two bathrooms were shared between 4 rooms which was generally not a problem. Internet access was great and it was nice to escape the crowds of Venice in the evening and to arrive each morning in Venice by boat. It was also good to see a different side to Venice on Lido.
