Bed and Breakfast Ca' Turelli - Venice

Lovely place !

I loved my stay in Cà Turelli: quiet area between Vaporetti stop Cà Rezzonico and Accademia, close to S.Barnaba (Indiana Jones templar library!). Breakfast complete, with hot brioches too... Large room, with tv.The owner Matteo is helpful and kind, he gave us the keys, it seems to have your own home in Venice! Wonderful!

This was a very good rooming house and the location is excellent but the services offered are as you would expect limited but I would definitely stay there again. My only criticism is the beds were VERY HARD.

Good location in Dorsoduro about 5 min walk from the Ponte all'Accademia but free of any dense tourist traffic. Very large room, clean. Nothing fancy but good value for the price. No screens on windows (have not seen them anywhere in Italy) so had to use AC at night rather than opening windows.

I travelled vith my girlfriend and we stayed for 2 nights. Positive things; The woman in charge of the service is very nice, cleaning of the hotel, spaciousness of bedroom, and is about 10 minutes walking from Piazza San Marco. Breakfast could have more variety. The only negative thing in my accomodation was that air conditioning didn´t work well, and I needed due to the humidy of Venice.

Lovely area in venice... very quiet with lovely restaurants and cafes.Would stay here again definitely.

First time for Italy and Venice. Myself, my wife and my daughter shared a triple room. The room was very nice with a window into a private courtyard. The location was ideal - quiet street but close to all the major attractions and plenty of restaurante. The breakfast food was packaged (as others have commented) but the coffee was the best Americano we had on our trip. The hostess speaks no English and it created minor challenges. The owner is fluent in English however and was very helpful regarding our luggage which was delayed arriving from Paris. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Das Zimmer war nett, nur in Punkto Servicepersonal waren wir nicht zufrieden. Die verschnupfte Angestellte war irgendwie fehl am Platz. Ich hoffe, dass war nur eine Aushilfe, denn sonnst hatte ja das Servicepersonal gute Noten bekommen. Das Frühstück selbst war für "anspruchslose" Franzosen mangelhaft. Wie wäre es mal mit frischem Obst?

Dorsoduro is a quiet place, not far from the center, if you like walking, it's about 10 minutes... A real good value for the price !

Wonderful, couldn't fault it, great value, especially for Venice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Huge room, beautiful decor & enormous bathroom. Cool, quiet, great location - so close to everything & public ferry network. Sited on a minor canal it actually looks like part of ancient Venice but clean and luxurious inside. Good breakfast in charming dining foyer. Computer available with internet (printer not working though). Only glitch not being able to store luggage after checkout, however were advised to go to bus terminus for paid storage facility. Suggest contact/email owner for most accurate directions to get to b&b. Love, love, love Venezia. So easy to walk or boat around & always something more to see. Feel very safe & comfortable there. Can't wait to go back.

No-frills, very quiet, clean, very small - good for those on a budget. B&B run by phone from off-site son. Owner - Mom - lives in one of the 4 rooms (the only one with a view) but does not participate in operation... On-site is a Sri-Lankan housekeeper/breakfast attendant who speaks Italian. Very nice lady. Very simple breakfast. Fruit, juice, pre-packaged pastries, slow with coffee. Very clean. Fresh flowers in upstairs hallway everyday -nice touch in bare bones operation. Decent bathroom. We rarely saw any other guests although other rooms were booked. You must have your own key to come and go as housekeeper is only around in the AM and when someone is checking in. All rooms up one flight of stairs from street. On lovely extremely quiet side-canal near the Zattere.

Owners were friendly. Ideally located between three vaporetto stops. Located close to one of the three bridges (Accadamia)that crosses the Grand Canal. A little difficult to find if you don't have a detailed map showing all small streets. Breakfast was basic but good.

Great place,wonderful location.We didnt eat the breakfast,but it looked typical.Pastry,coffee and fruit.I would stay in this B and B on my next visit to Venice!

Sehr angenehme uebernachtungsmoeglichkeit, sehr sauber und in einem suessen quartier gelegen, nicht ganz so hammer touristisch..absolut empfehlenswert, viel spass

We had a great time at Ca' Turelli. The staff were welcoming and helpful and our room clean and comfortable. For the price I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone visiting Venice.

PLEASE NOTE: Location - very good & quiet. Directions - poor, very difficult to initially locate. Accommodation - Room adequate for price. Service: Meals - very poor. The breakfast was STALE & "not as advertised". Consisted of bread rolls, juice & "Stale cornflakes" served every morning. The person serving breakfast appeared to have a respiratory infection which was "unhygienic". Linen - Mattress protector disgusting - was soiled & unchanged from previous user. Bed made daily, but linen remained unchanged. Towels (cotton) - remained unchanged even though they were visibly very wet. A faulty door lock caused us to be locked out from 9am to 11pm on one occassion, as the owners who do not live on the premises,did not respond to their phone. Service was sub-standard, in fact it was the only unacceptable service which we encountered during 3 months in Europe. Accomodation was sadly let down by lack of supervision of service staff, and lack of attention to hygiene.

Ca Turelli is in a great location for visiting Venice,and our room was perfectly adequate for a bed and breakfast. Sadly there was no tourist information available on recommended places to see and eat. There was a poor (stale)breakfast served by an employee who had the flu and should have been home! The family did not appear once, a couple of easy things for them to put right and the visit would have been great.

Para los españoles, lo que aquí se llama bed and breakfast es, para entendernos, una pensión. Las habitaciones están bien, los baños limpios e, incluso, tienen aire acondionado. Eso sí, los precios, como todo en Venecia: tramoya y sablazo. Los desayunos, pobretones y con el dueño escatimando. No obstante, todo eso se olvida cuando sales a la calle.

Fresh bread at breakfast would give Ca´turelli ekstra credit from us.

Will definitely stay at ca' turelli again when we return to venice. location is excellent - only a couple of minutes to walk to accademia bridge / vaporetto stop. definitely best to check out hotel's website for location on map www.caturelli.hotelinvenice.com the room was very clean, as was the bathroom. fyi: payment in cash will recommend ca' turelli to my friends

Such a nice place and the people were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed it immensely and found it close to everything I wanted to see but situated on a nice quiet street!

Petit dejeuner ordinaire pour l'italie. Aurions apprécié Capucino et croissants au lieu de café régulier et petits pains. Croissants seulement le premier matin, sommes restés 4 nuits.

Beste Lage. Private Atmosphäre. Frühstück in Ordnung.
