Bed and Breakfast Ca Santo Spirito - Venice

Loved our stay at Ca Santo Spirito. Sylvia was a very gracious host, providing us with a wonderful and large breakfast (and she makes a very tasty hot chocolate). The room was huge with a large bathroom. Lot's of character too. The location was really nice and easy to find. There are stairs, but that is part of the character of this pretty place. Only negative is that the walls are a little thin between the two main floor rooms. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

My stay at Ca Santo Spirito was as expected. I was looking for a clean and comfortable place that wasn't too expensive, and found it. Silvia, who is the owner of the place, was very hospitable and takes good care of her guests.

A really lovely B&B with accurate info on Venere. The only negative is the very steep staircase which is a bit slippery so you need to hang on to the handrail in order to be safe! The location is brilliant, the husband and wife team running the B&B are lovely and really helpful with interpreting the confusing public transport situation on a holiday weekend. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout to enjoy a few more hours in Venice without the suitcases.

All in all a very good B&B and in a very good location for travellers arriving/departing by boat to/from the airport. Still, considering the price we paid, we missed a balcony/terraza or at least a view to the canal.

The husband and wife owners were welcoming and overall the property was lovely. As the surrounding area is quiet, the guest house has just three rooms and the owners do not live on site, there are not many people around. Only other guests are likely to disturb a good night's sleep - and you would be unlucky. All of the accommodation is on the first floor; the stairs shown in the photograph are quite steep but should not pose a problem for most people. Bedroom was spacious - high ceilings on first floor - with an adjacent small but modern/very clean bathroom. Good breakfast items, their description on the website is pretty accurate. So about the only negative point is that none of the rooms have 'a view' !

Excellent hotel in a perfect location! We drove and took the ferry from Fussina to Zattere, which is the stop closest to the hotel. It couldn't have been more convienent. The building is beautiful! I loved the candles lit on our arrival in the downstairs area. It really made us feel like we were stepping back in time for Carnivale. Comfy bed. Shared bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating.
