Although there was no mention or warning of it, we were surprised to find out when we arrived that the bathroom was across the floor rather than in our room, and also that was used by the staff and was for that rather greasy and unhygienic. Our "romantic" stay was thus ruined and we shall not return nor recommend.

It was the first time we went to Venice, and stay at Bed & Breakfast Ca' Isabella was an added incentive to return. The friendliness of the people, the cleanliness, the amazing breakfast, its prime location at two stops from Piazza San Markus make this place one of the best accommodation choices in the city.

Rossella, working at the agency, was extremely helpful to find an adequate room in Cà Isabella for us after I made a mistake booking a wrong room- and that nearly under last minute conditions. I am very thankful for her efforts and patience.

Stayed for 2 nights. This family-owned B&B is very friendly. It is not on the main island of Venice however it turned out to be an advantage. The area is very quiet. The owners are very very considerate and are always ready to help. The only slight trouble we had is... no offense, but some italian-made facilities are a bit doubtful, through no fault of theirs though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and Venice is a charming place.

I was very frustrated with my stay at Ca' Isabella. There is no name on the building or even on the bell to ring. No one in the area knew of it. We tried calling their number to get directions but there was no answer. When we did find the address we had to ring the bell a number of times to get an answer. There is no check-in desk and the lady who let us in spoke no English and wouldn't take any money and we had no idea how to make payment for our room. We had no one to ask for help with securing a boat to the airport and were only able to make our taxi booking through the Hilton down the street. Thanks to them we were able to get off the island and make our early flight back to Canada. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who can't speak Italian. We felt very isolated on this island as well, as the water taxis aren't as frequent.

We stayed there simply because of the location(we needed to attend the wedding party in Giudecca). It is a family running B&B, where could feel the sense of local residence. Thus, we felt staying at someone's house. We were not so happy with the service:We need to carry our luggage by ourselves to the 2nd floor, which was not pleasant experience. We were also not so happy with the bathroom, which was shared and not so clean(an old normal bathtub with plastic shower curtain....). Towel was very old and over-used....Breakfast was good enough even though they did not serve the espresso/cappuccino. Thus,we did not feel the value for money at all(we paid 120Euro per a night). They prefer to be paid by cash rather than a credit card.

Beautiful Venice! LOTS of stairs to climb to room, difficult getting bags upstairs, but the hostess was very welcoming, and helped us with travel, sightseeing, and was extremely friendly!

I had a very nice stay at B&B Ca'Isabella! The situation was excellent for I had to reach daily the Molino Stucky Hilton. Even for leisure it's recommendable. One disadvantage for older people: the stairs!

The only negative thing was we were given the wrong key so when we returned late at night we could not get in our room. We had to wake up the owners to get into our room. So, check and make sure the keys work before leaving. Otherwise everything was perfect!! We had our own bathroom, spotlessly clean, very nice room. Breakfast was fine, yogurt, fruit, rolls and salami lunchment, juice and coffee. Computer was available to use, and free, and wifi was available and free. Easy to find also.

Great location if you don't want to be on the main island, (you have to take a wwaterbus to get across) but lovely view. Several restaurants close by when you can get a meal for a reasonable price (for Venice). Breakfast OK but they should be less stingey with the cutlery and crockery. Good value overall.

Very convenient location if attending a conference in the Hilton Molino Stucky - 3 minutes walk. Easy access by Alilaguna waterbus direct from Venice airport - €25 return, 90 minute journey. After arriving and being given keys, I met noone for the next 48 hours but good, cold breakfasts appeared. Owners were very friendly; daughter speaks good English, grandson gave me internet access on hotel computer. Payment must be in cash. Good value in a very expensive city. Beware there is only a number "778", no name on the wall by the front door. Excellent shower but no radio/TV in bedroom.

In the confirmation mail sent by them, they had given such clear directions to get to this place that it was truly appreciable. We were greeted by a woman who didnt know a word in English but was very nice and tried her best to make us feel comfortable and show us the amenities. Rosella (her daughter I guess) came after some time and in 10min she explained everything about the place, bf time and how to get to all the attractions. She even told us about the places that we didnt know about. The breakfast was average with cold cuts, cheese(I dont know why they had to keep them together as I couldnt have the cheese(vegetarian)), two slices of cake, some bread and some fruits. The breakfast was ample but nothing was fresh out of the oven. If you have taken vaporetto pass then this place is ideally located with very good options for restaurants.Rosella suggested one and it was really good. She also told us that the ones across the river will not be good and still we tired and were disappointed. The room was clean and towels were old but clean. We only had a problem with some noise that was caused by flushing system the second night when people in our neighboring room left early in the morning. I would definitely go back to this place

This was a very good choice. The location is excellent, the view spectacular, and using the Watertrain it was very easy to visit all major sites. It is in a very quiet location, with very good restaurants in the nearby vicinity. It is also very close to a supermarket, which allows you to do a simple inexpensive cold meal. During our 4 day visit to Venice we managed to see just about every attraction the city offers. There is also a DIY laundry 10 minutes away.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and recommend the hotel. The owners are very pleasant. The experience is a study in contrasts. My room had the only view but was the only one that did not have an ensuite bathroom. I recommend taking the view over the toilet. The breakfast is ok but remarkably industrial. The construction is well done (new, marble floors) but the decor is lacking. Expect to be a bit disappointed with breakfast and decor. Other odd things; there was no trash can in my bedroom and no nightlights anywhere. You'll find yourself fumbling for switches when entering, downright dangerous.

Giudecca quieter than main islands, only minutes away by very efficient vaporetto. Little contact with host over 4 days. Comfortable but impersonal. Reasonable (cereal, fruit, yogurt) breakfast, left it out for us when we slept in, tho were admonshed as to time in future. Room well appointed, everything worked. Would consider staying there again. Trattorie nearby for snacks. A few small gift shops, one great(but horribly expensive) restaurant right there, and, of course, the Hilton...

Although the rooms were very clean and spacious, there apparently is no hot water during the day. We came back from a hot day around 5 and took cold showers. Also, I was under the impression there was a/c and there wasn't. No apology for the lack of hot water either. And almost no english. I'd look elsewhere next time.

Quiet area, away from tourist masses, as it is not the center of Venice. In the evening you can sit outside with a nice view of Venice across the canal. There is a Coop supermarket close to here, which is also good. We traveled with a baby. There was a a baby cot available. We only had to carry our baby carriage across one stairway bridge to reach the property from the vaporetto stop.

The personal touches (homemade cookies, healthy breakfast) and being away from the madding crowds was very welcome. Dinner (fish & seafood)at a restaurant along the waterfront was excellent (pricey, but worth the money).

Es el sitio perfecto para dormir, descansar del ruido de la gran ciudad y tomar un desayunar sencillo bien temprano. En los dias que estuve en el lugar no coincidi casi con nadie. Reinó silencio, discreción y respeto.
