We stayed for 7 days in Ca'Bragadin Carabba, and we enjoyed our stay in this quiet and plaisant place, near of the main place of interest, some people complain about the difficulty to find the B&B, but if you look goole map before, it is quite easy. If we have the opportunity to come again in Venice we shall choose Ca' Bragadin

This charming little hotel was at the perfect location (very easy to find if you bring the video on a mobile device!) and had the perfect all of the needed amenities of a hotel, not to the mention a huge shower. They upgraded us to the double suite free of charge, however the "included" breakfast was at an 8-12 euro charge per person per breakfast and the wifi was 8 euros for 3 hours; with it only working on my partner's HP while none of my mac products could pic up the wifi signal (as it was very poor). There were plenty of cute little restaurants near-by and several handy vaporeto stops. If you just go wondering around it is very easy to stumble upon St.Mark's square and several beautiful landmarks. Overall it made our experience very pleasurable (despite the miserable cold) and we will definitely be staying there again!

I found the place really confortable and with good prices for renting. The neighborhood is just fantastic. Concierges were kind and willing. Bad things: prices for internet and breakfast were too high.

Stay was for 4 nts (11-14 Nov) room was very clean, heating was good when required, staff were very friendly and advised on places to eat/drink. When high-tide arrived on day 1, hotel staff provided me with an umbrella and pair of wellington boots so I could get out & about like the locals - most appreciated! Hotel is in great location, quiet, yet only 10 min walk to Rialto. Good selection of shops & cafes in vicinity & would have no hesitation in recommending Ca' Bragadin Carrabin to others.

I booked 5 rooms for our group. As others have stated, we had quite an adventure finding it, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were all different and beautifully furnished. The location is excellent. We had a great time!

Great hotel. They provided a very accurate map to the hotel which, in spite of being located off a small alley, it was easy to find. The location is perfect, and the guest isn't overwhelmed by tourists. It's a great hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

We were very happy with our experience at Ca' Bragadin. I travel to Italy on business several times per year. In this price range, the rooms at Ca' Bragadin were exceptional for size, cleanliness, comfort of the beds, quietness, and especially the spacious bathroom and excellent shower. We did not purchase the EU$12 breakfast, but actually ended up paying more for less at a canal-side cafe near Rialto. I had a 6AM flight from San Marco airport. The hotel staff provided me excellent directions for the night-service vapreto & airport bus arriving to the airport on time. Next time back to Venezia we will certainly stay at the Ca' Bragadin. Thank you Venere.com for suggesting this hotel.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! The location, as commented by others, is away from the main "streets" but we watched the video 3-4 times and walked directly to the door, from the Rialto vaporetto stop, without a misstep. It is 6-7 minutes walk time. This was not our first trip to Venice so we knew the exterior appearance of a building or of the almost alley leading to it were not important. Our luggage got left behind at CDG (it seems to happen every time we pass through CDG) but the hotel staff was diligent in calling Marco Polo for us and both bags showed up by bedtime! We got lucky and were given the room with a private terrace, 302, ask for it, where we enjoyed the sun in the mornings, cheap wine and expensive cheese! Buy some OFF at the small grocery store you pass on the way to the hotel as the Venetian mosquitoes are viscious. It is a very clean, well maintained hotel. It appears they are adding an elevator but if you can walk around Venice for 6-7 hours what's three flights of stairs? Our room was cleaned and straightened every day and new towels and sheets provided at appropriate intervals. (We stayed 12 days.) The in-room breakfast is a nice convience the final morning to save time. If you turn right outside the door and go straight you pass Marco Polo's house, three pretty nice restaurants and pop out on a main street in front of Tiziano, a great bar for breakfast, sandwiches or a spritz. The hotel had the ONLY mildew free bathroom we have experienced in a dozen trips to Italy. The bathroom is all tile, typical small shower and plenty of hot water. There are "loaner" tour books in the lobby and a good map available. We will stay here onour next trip to Venice.

For 3 nights we stayed in a suite room which was really excellent and overlooked Piazza San Marina. All facilities were very good, the staff were extremely helpful and the hotel location (5 mins to Rialto or St Mark's Square - was really convenient. Initial fears that it might be difficult to find were unfounded and the provided map was very clear. Will definitely visit again.

Hotel seemed a bit strange when we first stepped through the door as everyhing was upstairs on the first floor. Once we found the reception it was fine. Our room was very large and decorated beautifully in keeping with its Venetian roots. Location was great - 5 mins from Rialto Bridge and not much further to St Marks Sq. We paid extra for breakfast and we found it more than adequate. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. If we return to Venice we would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

All was great except the fact that the room was really cold during evening and night because we couldn't turn on the heat (the weather outside was really cold too). The staff told us that it is preprogramm to heat during the day (do you know a lot of tourists staying in the hotel room during the day ?) and only 2 hours for each 4 hours. After 2 nights they finally turn the heat on during evenings and nights. Except this trouble, it was perfect : well situated, clean, quiet, spacious.
