Bed and Breakfast 19 Borgo Cavour - Treviso

It was an interesting experience to stay in this hotel. The welcoming was really nice and I was really well taken care of. The room I got was huge and quite uniquely equipped, also had a huge bathroom on my own, though separated from the room. They made really the best of the rooms with very little money but great ideas. The breakfast was simple but I liked it in this nice family like atmosphere.

Awful. The idea was to copy modern minimalist hotels; at this one the minimalism is simply lack of things. It is an old building they haven't properly restored. We had a lavatory outside the door. There were 3 ladders in the room (they have a fetish for ladders) but nowhere to sit. Excessive time spent on artowrk (mirrors with painted lips and writing) would have been better spent on hotel facilities: a glass for water, some soap, an armchair. The bed was a mattress on two industrial pallets: v low and most uncomfortable. I thought €100 was cheap but left feeling I'd been ripped off.

19 Borgo Cavour was a very pleasant surprise. It was completely unique with original artworks throughout. Staying within the old city was delightful; I wish we had more time to explore. Breakfast was served in a delightful garden, and Gregorio was very attentive. This worked very well for us as a one night stopover before a morning flight out of Marco Polo airport; Venice would have been far more hectic and expensive. We recommend it for anyone looking for something with its own character.

A bit expensive for what you get, but the room is spacious for one. Breakfast is basic. Nice decor and good location for getting to the Duomo and centre of town.

This was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. The rooms were clean and modern without sacrificing comfort. The staff, Gregorio, was incredibly friendly and always available. Prime location for Treviso or travel to Venice. A truly beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. I will definitely return to Design Bed & Breakfast.

Very friendly, very helpful, both owner and employee. Comfortable room and bed overlooking the little garden at the back. A room at the front might be a bit noisy, although it's not an exceptionally busy street. At the back it was very quiet. I'd recommend without hesitation. Treviso is a nice town with a history, some good buildings, yet a modern way of life. From Treviso you can get to Venice in half an hour by train. Prices in Treviso are lower than in venice. There are some nice restaurants in Treviso. The fish restaurant round the corner from the B&B, Antico Morer, is not especially cheap but the standard of cooking and service is very high.
