We had a wonderful staying in Il Vigneto. The only thnig we missed was a place to stay during the evening/night. All the public areas had lights off, so we supposed we couldn't use them and we had to stay in the room with the children.Nevertheless, the rooms were very spacious and clean and the employees really nice and kind.

there was nobody, when we arrived, but an other friendly guest; we had to telefone and wait; Visa card is not accepted although the card-information was requested when booking. however friendly owner and helpfull information, secure parking

Il Vigneto is a great bed and breakfast. The location was perfect for our stay in Trecastagni. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge (by Italian standards). The breakfast was enjoyable and we loved the home grown fruits. The balcony is huge and has great views. We had some difficulty translating a phone message and the showers were a little tricky (the hoses are not wall mounted) but overall, Il Vigneto was a great b&b and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Trecastagni.

By car
The Bed and Breakfast is reachable via the highway A18. Exit at Acireale and follow the indications to Trecastagni-Chiesa San Alfio. The B&B is situated next to the Piazza San Alfio square.

By train
The Catania, Acireale and Giarre train stations are linked to Trecastagni by the AST local bus service.

By airplane
From the Catania airport there are buses and taxis to the central train station, from where you can catch the local AST bus to Trecastagni.
