Bed and Breakfast Malvarosa - Trapani

Go there only if really on a tight budget!!

This is quite a simple and somewhat dark inn on an alley in central Trapani. As I was passing through town for just on night it met me needs. The room was fine as it offered abed to sleep in that was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom required a walk through a living/dining room. It was hard to find as it is not on a main street and many of the locals didn't know where it was. It was a decent place to stay for the night and provided a genuine Sicilian experience.

I am very happy with this B&B. It was the second time, that I have stayed there. It is very typically for the location. My room also has had a van, which I was very happy about. I liked the very comfortable and tasty designed room, the colours, the bed. The shower gave not so much water, however, I was able to refresh and wash myself. There was also a fridge and TV available. See you next year! Ci vediamo il prossimo anno :) Ciao

Expect very low quality. The price I believe it is the cheapest you can find, but the quality is very low

The bed and breakfast is not too easy to find because is not reading well the name of the street on the wall

Run by a lovely warmhearted young lady, very welcoming, speaks english too, helpful, nice room, warm colours, good value for money. Very quiet location. Very close to the ferries to the islands,in the historical center, close to the heart of the city. I had a great stay of 2 nights and I will come back!!!!

I was very content and happy, to have been staying there. If you want to see 'behind' the doors of this fascinating Trapani housing architecture, you have a chance to do, if you go there. I definitely will come back the next time. The lady was very polite and helpful. My room was comfortable and tasteful equipped with old flowery paintings on the quite high ceiling. The floors have different typically coloured Sicilian floortiles. There is a so called kitchen/livingroom to share with the other guests, well equiped with nice table, fridge, kitchen utilities and a microwave. The clean bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and washhandbasin is to share as well. You can take a hot shower, if you want and there were soaps, toilet paper and even shower gel. I got 2 towels, a small one and a big one. As I had to leave very early in the morning (4:15), the lady prepared the breakfast in advance. Delicous Italian pastries, cakes, juice, joghurt - yammy :) See you again! Arrivederci :)

The lady (very polite) had one problem and she couldnt meet me when I arrived. The breakfast was normal/good, but the problem was no toilet inside the room but outside shared with other 2 rooms.

This B&B actually is an apartment with 3 bedrooms located in old Jewish quarter. As there wasn't anyone else apart us it was like staying on your own in a rented flat. I don't think there is a possibility to make this place very different or to make any big improvements, it is how it is - building is old, the host is very nice, the neighbors are Sicilians who had been talking loud all the life, the breakfast was served and life goes on :), though to be more honest I would make a price a bit less than 30EUR (I stayed for 30EUR). But for 40EUR you definitely will find a better place in Trapani, that's for sure!

Difficult access (alley), dilapidated staircase, dilapidated decoration, good reception in French, 10 euro protest in more without justification it is dear(expensive) for this service(performance).

Avoid

Bed and breakfast molt dificil de trobar (extremely difficult to find). L'esmorzar no està inclòs en el preu (breakfast not included) i el personal molt poc eficient i gens puntual a l'hora de servir l'esmorzar (the owner not much servicial)
