Only drawback was a lack of a manned reception area - our room was accessed through what was effectively an apartment entrance.

Excellent in most categories. My only negative comment is that the breakfast area is too small for the number of guests.

Centrally located B&B Belveliero in opposite of Trapani port - very convenient location for people who travel in Sicily without rented car (like us). The bus stop near hotel is linked with main sites (Palermo, Marsala, San Vito La Capo, Erice etc.). Special rout for Salt panes managed by Salemi company and Egatour travel agency which sells tickets to all above mentioned sites and other excursions is near this small hotel. And of course port, where hydrafoils run to Egadi islands (Sardinia, Panteleria, Ustica and other). Very nice staff and manager Giovanni is very helpful and kind people (as mentioned in all reviews about this hotel :). The hotel have no any clear denomination on building and situated on second-third floor, so it was very useful when staff met us in the bus station. Pedestrian street, old town, bank machine, two small supermarkets is near the Belveliero hotel. Our room with side sea view to the port was not big, but nicely furbished and bathroom was very very spacy. Always very clean! Traditional italian sweet breakfast: coffee/cappuccino/tea, 4-5 kinds of cornetto with different fillings (they called it brioche, maybe there are some difference between cornetto in Rome, I don't know :)), some kinds of local pastries and Sicilian bread, fruits, yogurt and juice. All pastries so fresh, straight from the bakery and very delicious... And always very cosy and family atmosphere during the breakfast, when personnel make you coffee, whispering with each other or talking with the guests about past day impressions. The kitchen is very small like in the flat, only three tables, but it wasn't a problem for us. Maybe because we stayed in beginning of September it weren't any queues to have breakfast - and this only strengthened the feeling of italian home atmosphere! Highly recommend for people who are not looking for big hotels with receptions, lounge bars, lot of personnel, but prefer italian home spirit, cosy and friendly atmoshere!

we stayed in the Capitano Suite - 2 BRs private bath and best of all - balcony on the port! it was very comfortable and spacious, the host very gracious and most helpful both before and during visit, recommending the best way to cruise the islands and where to eat. breakfast pastries superb, around the corner is a little supermarket, building has an elevator and is perfectly located for tourists - across the street from the airport bus and the Island ferries - maybe not so close to beaches. highly recommend

A very good place to stay for little money. Looking on the harbour of Trapani from tghe balcony. Good beds and a lot of space. Breakfast is Ok. Wifi is in webcafe TornePali down in the street. In the restaurant down you can eat very good. Nice people everywere. One point of critic is that when You come there for the first time you see the building, but the adres is in the street below.

We really enjoyed our stay in Belveliero Bed & Breakfast. Welcoming was nice and check-in fast even we arrived earlier than we informed B&B staff (based on my experience this is not so common in Italy). The nice view on port which is presented on a photos at venere.com is available only in one room. The other rooms has its windows into a courtyard. Giovanni, the owner of B&B, understood this and he offered us to move to this room as soon as it was available. As it is usual at Sicily credit cards were not accepted. Otherwise everything was clean, breakfast was good, city of Trapani is really beautiful and B&B is well located right in a city center. Giovanni gave us all the information we needed for our stay and he marked us all the interesting places on a map with explanation how to get there. My conclusion is that if you are searching good accommodation in Trapani for really reasonable price then Belveliero Bed & Breakfast is good option for you.

Very good B&B: Staff is very helpful and speaks English; They are always available to give advice on things to do and to see, and where to go/what to visit. Complete and good breakfast. Nice rooms; nice bath room, very nice location with view on the harbor from several rooms. Bus coming (and going) to the airport stops 20 meters from the hostel very delicious pizza place just next to the hotel (try the Sicilian pizzas)

Very small bed made for a teen-ager (I almost fell down, althoug i'm not a big guy). Poor breakfast (just a capuccino and a "croissant" at the bar downstairs). Full light in the room at midnight and at 5 o'clock in the morning because of a window above the door of the room.Credit card not accepted, only cash without a bill.

we had a very nice stay in Belveliero. the owner was more than helpful, even picking us up by car from the busstation! rooms and bathroom were huge, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. Italian breakfast (sweet)was served in nearby bar. boat- and busstop are right in front of guesthouse, and old town just around the corner. we highly recommend this guesthouse!
