Bed and Breakfast Villa Chiarenza Maison d'Hôtes - Trappitello, Taormina

B&B is very near to Autostrada so not quiet location - but beautifully appointed and maintained with great breakfast and hosts.

Lovely place, very warm welcome by Agata and Salvatore. No English spoken however, so communication in sign language only. Fabulous home made breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Great views on the bay and Mt Etna. Perhaps a bit too close to the motorway, that you hear well and which disturbs the tranquility of the place a bit.

I would highly recommend Villa Chiarenza. We were made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed a beautiful villa and lovely gardens. The highlight was sitting on the patio every morning eating a great Sicilian breakfast. The hotell is well placed for excursions and is 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Taormina, but I recommend a car.

It was a very nice place - the villa was full of art objects and the breakfast was offered in a very pleasant atmosphere (with classical music in the background and a beautiful garden in the front).

Beautiful spacious decorated rooms. Lovely views of mount etna from the balcony. Excellent breakfast served in the garden. Agatha and Salvatore are very welcoming although they do not speak english they try so hard. They succeeded do make a romantic, antique style atmosphere. Walking distance to the beach and restaurant in Giardini Naxos

Nice hotel, very friendly family and lovely breakfast on the terrasse. Easy to reach by car from the highway and impressing view to Etna from the balcony of the room. We would stay there again.

Agatha and Salvatore, the owners of the B+B are very welcoming, professional and helpful. Their home is filled with antiques, interesting art, and comfortable furnishings. Agatha, although unable to speak English, could tell us how to reach Taormina, where to find parking, and suggested an excellent local restaurant where we ate for two nights. Overall, the experience was an very enjoyable one, and I would recommend this B+B for anyone who likes to stay in an environment that has lots of history and character to it- Agatha communicated to us lots of interesting facts about the history of the building.

We had a lovely few days at Villa Chiarenza. We were made very welcome and comfortable. The high points have to be the view of Etna from the balcony of our room, and the generous breakfasts on the terrace. It was very convenient for visits to Taormina, Etna, Catania and Siracusa. Thank you.

This is a fantastic place. If you are a family (or a very lucky couple like we were) the appartment on the top floor is just fantastic. The owners are absolutely super and the breakfasts are the best we had in 2 weeks. You must have your own transport but the views and villa make it worth every penny.
