The B&B-House is in the center of the famous town TAORMINA and the rooms are therefore small and without parking place; if you are not much pretentious you will find a cosy refuge from Taormina's street bustle and you can relax by viewing the Mount Etna. The breakfast is not a 'hit' (like everywhere in Italy) but the place around is really nice and the hirer are kind and obliging People. We enjoyed our stay in Taormina and Casa Rupilio!

Inconvenient room, not so clean, the breakfast is neither sufficient, nor good(even the capuccino is not a real Italian one), they even had not enough towels for all guests (we were three persons given two towels).

This was most poorest B&B that i ever had in my life. Everything that was on your site on facility was not correct, no shuttle service, no restaurant, no personell that speak different langues. A dirty room with no window, very dangerous in case of fire. VERY BAD BAD BAD

The area is in the center. The place is very good. The room is so small and u can barely move. They have no tv no aircondition and its very noisy. The people were great and nice but if i saw the room before i would never stay there.

Very dirty place, old bed sheets. just bad rooms in a private old house. In the bathroom you might get a disease, you find soaps and objects that have lied there forever. The "breakfast" is a joke. Not worthed your money at all, Sicily is full of great hotels and b&b. This is not serious.

The room was dirty and bedding and towels were not fit for any home, be it a hotel, B&B or private home. Bathroom flooded into the room and hallway making it very dangerous and bath mats were disgusting cleaning rags. Dirty hairbrush was left in bathroom, making me feel sick. Keys opened other rooms so NO SECURITY, did not feel safe at all. Breakfast served on balcony that was full of rubbish and very dirty, breakfast was a cold coffee and a slice of cake. Ceiling fan very noisy and felt like it was going to fall off but there were no windows in the room. Owners - Were presented to us very dirty as were doing renovations, but not acceptable, one should at least be ready for guests. Lady very friendly but man, very sleazy and feel sick to think about that situation. Will never stay here again, never recommend to anyone to stay here and should not be listed. Overpriced for this B&B. Very upsetting stay.

The owners are really helpful and friendly. Nothing but good things to say about them. Locations is good, as well. When it comes to rooms, I really didn´t like there. There was no windows at all, and the bathroom was flooded after each shower. Bad sound isolation between rooms (a thin wooden wall.)

We made a last minute Venere reservation, so we were delighted to be met by our hosts at the Taormina train station - and to be driven to the B&B. We found the biscuits we were given upon arrival at the B&B to be a lovely touch. Although the hosts don't speak English nor do we speak Italian, their kindness and desire to assist us was obvious. They quickly agreed to allow us to change to a warmer room after our first night and we were regularly given biscuits and oranges, which was above and beyond anything we've ever been given in any other accommodation. On a particularly cool evening they gave us cake and cappachino to enjoy in our room! The cappachino at breakfast was very tasty and we highly recommend it! Although the rooms were snug and the shower created a lake in the bathroom, we found the hosts geniune attempts to make us as comfortable as possible, touching and worth the stay. At the end of our visit our hosts gave us some farewell cookies; a ride to the bus station; and a fond farewell.

Casa Rupilio is situated within walking distance from everywhere you want to go in Taormina. Parking might be a problem, as the b&b does not have off-street parking. The owners seemed friendly, but didn't respect our privacy as they where constantly knocking on our door and following us around - we found this a bit creepy. Also, they couldn't speak English. The shared bathroom was old and a bit disgusting. The mattresses, bedding and towels were very old and we got a bathrobe that seemed to belong to the dead grandmother. The decor in the room was outdated, but not in a quaint way. The price is cheap for Taormina, but we would not recommend that you stay there for more than one night.

The owner of Casa Rupilio is really great! They are so warm and helpful. Since Taormina is located on the mountain and very far away from the train station, the owner is so kind to pick us up and afterward send us back again to the train station. We really appreciate this helpful owner! The location is also in the center of Taormina, close to the shopping area and Greece Theater. We like it very much!!! For breakfast, even fresh tropical fruit is offered, very surprising! It is a great place to stay for that price and value.

Basic but fine room. We stayed in the room with own bathroom, which was nice. We had breakfast at the balcony and we were allowed to park in front of the b&b. Good place when you're on a budget.

The place itself was okay, but our room was right in front of the patio, though you couldn't get much sleep as everyone stayed on the patio no matter what time it was (e.g. till 4 a.m.) One more point, during the main seasson you will have some difficulties to get into the bathroom as way too many people have to share one bathroom (and there is only one bathroom!).

The staff (owner and his wife) is very nice, welcoming and obliging - helpful. We were given local fruits when we arrived. The landscape from the terrace is great : the sea and the etna. Located right in the centre of taormina. I enjoyed this b&b.

Me and my girlfriend were at Casa Rupilio during our Sicily trip for two nights. Older lady and her two sons help us whenever we want to help (although they dont know any word in English :) She cooked us delicious lunch (starter, main lunch 1, main lunch 2, desert and red wine), for only 10 E/person and also offer free "welcome" biscuits. The position of B&B is excelent, only few meters to centre. Notice that there are no much space for car parking (this problem is in whole Taormina), so we have to pay for parking in nearby parking. We lived on the top of Casa Rupilio with private clean bathroom. There was not much space, but it is OK for sleeping. There is no air condition, only two fans; so this is only con of this guesthouse. In few words, if you are you searching for small, budget (the price is ubeatable) sleeping in the centre of Taormina, go to Casa Rupilio!

Stayed 3 nights. Room adequate for my needs, single traveller 63 yrs old. Bathroom located 15 steps below room. Room 30 steps up from entry.Location is perfect, quite near everything I wanted to see and do. Family is great, speak little english but warm and caring. I suggest you eat dinner at the facility. Reasonably priced (10 Euro) and as authentic a home meal as you will ever get. If you can handle the stairs and a small spartan room this is a great choice. I would stay here again.

Casa Rupilio is exactly as advertised, basic and non luxurious - but it does not promise anything that it doesnt deliver on. Those wishing for a luxorious stay in sicily would not appreciate it. However it is impecably clean and the owners are complete diamonds who make you feel welcome and are extremely hospitable. A brilliant trip & a lovely B&B.

The owner and her son were very warm and welcoming. The decor in the room is a bit dated, but certainly clean and a comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, and one of those where you shower in the bath. This was the cheapest accommodation we could find in an extremely overpriced Taormina. Did not find it worth the euro 85 per night, but not bad accommodation when one has little choice. No internet access.
