The staff were really friendly, the room was very clean and the location perfect- close to the main area without the noise of the main street. Only gripe was that with tiled floors, noisy neighbours were extra noisy and in summer the restaurant that is opposite has the potential to be noisy- it wasn't open so this wasn't an issue for us. Overall a great find!

An important fact to mention is that you cannot find the road that it is in on a GPS. The reason for this is that it is not a proper road, but an old town road. The only way to navigate there is via Corsa Italia, the road that runs parallel to it. If you find Corsa Italia no. 100 and park close to that location, you can find it on foot. The property is lovely. It is situated in the centre of the tourist district and for the price, it is a steal. There are many things to see and places to visit. The room is spacious and the cooking facilities are adequate. The crockery and cutlery does leave a lot to be desired, though, as it is very sparse. The staff could assist us well in English and were very helpful and professional.

Building work going on - could not use garden at all. Woken first day at 7.30am with drilling and sawing of wood for wooden roof opposite our room. Next day noise of scaffolding being delivered and taken into garden. From then on view of scaffolding directly opposite. Swimming pool access not allowed use at Hotel Ascot, other end of road to where we were situated, until 5th day Thursday of our holiday. Because we arrived on a Sunday had to wait in street boiling for 3/4 hr after a 5 hr journey to Sorrento. Reception staff very nice. Very old lady who lived to the right of hotel used to spend all day opposite our balcony spitting into her hanky made you feel a bit sick.

Sorrento Town Suites is the perfect place to relax while visiting the beautiful city of Sorrento! It was easy to find from the train station and upon arrival I was welcomed by the friendly staff! My room was located at Emily Bed & Breakfast. It was beautiful and new. I stayed in the purple room which has a modern look with a beautiful leather couch and flat-screen satelite tv. I had delicious cappuccino for breakfast at Jenny's Bar across the street. The hotel had a laundry facility with internet café right beside it and was within walking distance of the downtown core of Sorrento with all of it's beautiful, little, pittoresque streets. The market is nearby and the ferries to get to Capri, Ischia, Vesuvius/Napoli are within walking distance. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a traveller who loves to walk and enjoy the surrounding sights on foot. No need for a car but the bus system came in handy to get to a public beach in a smaller town that was a five minute ride. Can't wait to return to Sorrento! Grazie mille!

Our "quad room" turned out to be a lovely A/C apartment in a building just off Piazza Tasso in the heart of downtown. The only problem was that it was up 4 flights of stairs (not senior-friendly) and quite a long walk from the pub where our breakfast was served, neither of which we were told when we booked.

I was deeply disappointed on arriving in Sorrento and being shown our room. Instead of being in a villa with terrace and views, with spacious, airy rooms, lemon trees etc. as shown on the website, it was very small and dark in a building on the busiest street in Sorrento. Even with the windows tight closed and the aircon on the noise from the street kept us awake late and woke us early. We left after one night and although the manager tried to be helpful he took 50 euros off me for the cancellation of the next two nights. I thought this unfair as the room was absolutely nothing like the pictures or description. Apparently half their rooms are in this building on Corsa Italia so beware.

Gorgeous town suite. Very clean, bright and spacious and in an excellent location just off the main street. We found the staff very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of staying in Sorrento. Our only complaint was that breakfast was very poor. We got vouchers to eat at a nearby bar called The English Inn. The choice on the breakfast menu was poor and guests can only choose one thing, for example either cereal OR toast/eggs. The atmosphere wasn't nice either and we heard a loud argument coming from the staff area. If Sorrento Town Suites changed their breakfast provider, their accommodation would be unbeatable!

We loved this place and would come back. The apartment was very bright and cheerful and everything was new. Ask for a room away from the street, since ours was noisy from pedestrians. We had some hot water problems and noise due to construction, but I think that is temporary. It's an easy walk to the train station and gave a discount for paying in cash.
