First time use Venere. Good point is no surcharge for booking. But the direction to the hotel from Train or bus station is a weak. As the hotel's reception can't speak English very well and he even can't pick up the phone in prompt manner that worries me while I can't find the way to there. And meals were only provided at certain time and no more choice except what he had. For my case, dinner is only meat and pasta, no menu. Even food is not bad, but I would like have more choices and flexibility for the time.

It was a little out of town and I had to catch buses in/out of town but they were available, nice quiet place, lots of steps. It was difficult to find when I got there. Staff were good and breakfast good too.

We reserved a delux room and paid extra for this however the room was small and basic with no outlook. On arrival we were shown to our room and not shown the grounds and facilities, also no - one spoke english so we struggled to get any help with information about sorrento or our B & B. The Hill climb to the b&b was horrendous and it doesn't state anywhere on the web that it is unsuitable for the elerly, disabled or even pregnant women as i happen to be.... I would not reccomend this b & b to anyone. PS we were charged for a delux suit also. thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights

Lovely setting, quiet and relaxing stay. The driveway is very narrow but definitely worth staying here. Easy to walk into town in 25min. Lovely host, breakfast was also good.

We had a lovely stay at Casale Antonietta. The only thing I would suggest is that there should be a warning about the steep climb up the alley way to the B & B. It was very difficult to drag the cases up there and it was like a workout even without the cases! It is definitely not accesible to wheelchairs etc. However, the proprietor Marco, was lovely and very friendly and his English was very good. The room was clean and well- equipped and well- maintained throughout our stay. The only noise was provided by a noisy cow and cockerel in the mornings, which was a lovely reminder of the fact that we were in the countryside (and also 1 mile or so from the town centre, uphill). Overall, I would definitely recommend Casale Antonietta to others, but only if they are prepared for the heavy trek to and from town.

Very quiet and peaceful and definetly only to be reached in a small car! It is not the most beautiful or charming b&b but very clean with good sized rooms, great service and an adequate breakfast.

This B&B has the best breakfast of all B&Bs we had even stayed at. It could not be recommended for people who find it difficult to walk. Nice surroundings, and with nice and maintenanced buildings. Besides the climb for the property (200m), the transportion is really great.

I was very, very pleased with the property. The location was convenient while still being quiet. We had a very comfortable room, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I was disappointed that we were not in the main building - the 'chalet' type building where there are several rooms was newer and I think expensive for what you got, which was adequate but not as nice as the pictures of the rooms inside. They still have no pool and I do think that this should be removed from the description... However, the staff were very nice and accomodating and the location was good, just check the time of the last buses back up to 'Capo' as we misunderstood and stood around at the bus stop!

Marco and his father Michele made my family most welcome. The location, whilst a little bite difficult to find, was excellent, hidden away from the busy main streets of Capo Sorrento. Peaceful and quiet. Even though we had a car, during our 4 day stay we used public transport all the time which was closely located. Breakfast was sufficent

You can reach the location only with a small car because the road is very narrow. At first we couldn´t believe that this was the right road! But if you have reached the location your car is very safe there! Better to leave the car on the parking place during the stay in Sorrento and use public transports. There is a bus-stop just 100 meters away and the bus goes three times an hour to the centre of Sorrento and normaly it takes 10 minutes. But in the rush-hour every morning uphill and every evening downhill to Sorrento it can take 30-60 minutes. The location is very nice. There is a big garden for sunbathing. The "swimmingpool" is only for getting wet because it is too small for swimming. There is a hotel in the neighbourhood with some noise in the night. Privat beach means that you have to walk 20 minutes downhill to reach a very rocky beach with strong surf. Very adventurously to swimm there. All other beaches are reserved for privat use. Breakfast was very good. Very good for people who want to visit Capri, Napoli, Pompej and Vesuv. If you want to make beach-holiday you better rent a room in one of the big hotels in Sorrento.

Marco and Loredana are wonderful hosts, even if there is a tendency to market facilities which they plan to have rather than those they actually do. Not all the apartments have kitchenettes (as advertised), though any expressions of disappointment are met with an immediate desire to put things right. We changed rooms, and two fridges appeared in other rooms while we were there. They were needlessly apologetic about the pool (well illustrated on the website) - it was great for cooling off at all times of day and night! They have plans (!) for a full-size pool next year. Excellently situated for bus, archaeological beach, campsite shop and walking. We had a lovely holiday among the lemon groves and would go back.

When I made my reservation I believed that I would be staying in Casale Antonietta – in one of the ‘independent’ apartments. On arrival, I soon found out that where my partner and I were to be accommodated was very much ‘independent’. A five minute trek through the undergrowth on a ‘path’ that would not be negotiable by anyone who was the slightest bit infirm. The apartment had no air-conditioning, no tv, no hairdryer, and was situated on the main road that links Sorrento to Malla Lubrense and thus very, very noisy! The room was dark (no natural light), and had no proper bed – my partner and I slept the seven nights on a sofa bed. The towels were replenished once during our week stay, but the bed linen was not changed. When I complained to the young woman (who was very pleasant) who staffed the office and served us breakfast (Marco never seemed to be around!) that the apartment was not as described on the website and that when I had booked I believed I would be staying in Casale Antonietta, she told me that Cannella (the name of the apartment we were in) was part of Casale Antonietta. I am very disappointed that the website completely misrepresents this particular apartment. My impression was that this particular apartment perhaps belonged to someone who couldn’t market it as a sole rental property, so Marco has taken it on under the ‘banner’ of Casale Antonietta. From the look of the other apartments (the ones very close to the main Casale Antonietta building), they all looked very nice, and the few times we sat by the swimming pool, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet (a very pleasant contrast to the roaring of the mopeds along the road where we stayed!). A discount on the total cost of the accommodation was promised, but on checking my bank account when I returned, I noticed that the full cost had been deducted. I have written to Marco at Casale Antonietta but to date have received no reply. Beware!

As we were not located near to the main house, but in self-contained accommodation (which was very nice)but was too far to walk with a case from the main house and not practical at all. In our 4 night stay, fresh linens and towels were not replenished. Breakfast was very good with home-made croissants. Nice coastal walk to town taking about 30 mins but when busy on narrow roads, could be a little scary. Inflattable swimming pool in grassy area so head to the nearby coastal waters on rocky beach for a more pleasant dip! Owners and staff friendly - but take your phrase book and I intend to learn more Italian.

Casale Antonietta consists of several new cottages on the grounds of a citrus farm in the hills above Capo di Sorrento. It was fairly easy to get to and from Sorrento on the bus. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The cottage we were in had two bedrooms (one with TV), a kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor patio with table and chairs. It was quite private and had a view over the Bay of Naples. There is a small swimming pool and grassy areas that would make it suitable for children. Breakfast was buffet and there was a good selection of food (continental breakfast). Internet access was free. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Due to its location, the place was very quiet, although some early morning use of scooters was a bit disturbing. Overall very pleasant, the price is excellent, and I would recommend staying there.

Bello il posto, l'idea di fare casette isolate in mezzo agli ulivi è fantastica. Il rumore della strada disturbava abbastanza. Le stanze potrebbero essere arredate in modo più confortevole.

It was a very pleasant and nice stay for my family and myself. The only thing which was difficult was to find the place. The taxi driver had great problems...

Very pretty location. Very welcoming. It may be worth noting that there is a steep walk from the road to the property. Very much enjoyed stay here.
