Bed and Breakfast La Maison de Titty - Piano di Sorrento, Sorrento

I had a wonderful time here during my travels with a friend. Titty was very welcoming and helpful, as was her father. The b&b was removed from the the main city of sorrento, so if you enjoy the calm and tranquility and being surrounded with greenery, you'll enjoy this b&b

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at La Maison de Titty so much that, if we could have cancelled our next hotel to stay longer at La Maison, we would have done so... we felt like family there with Papa Michele who drove us around to places we never would have seen and spectacular views.. Mama Rita doesn't speak English but, with my limited Italian and sign languages, plus her hugs and kisses, we got along wonderfully.. the room was super clean, we had a big bathroom and our door led to a nice patio surrounded by lemon trees.. since it was at the end of a street, it was quiet and relaxing and Michele would drive us to town or we could also walk or take the bus.. it's a GREAT place from where you can take day trips everywhere on the Amalfi coast I HIGHLY recommend it for the complete Italian experience

Our hosts at the Maison de Titty were very very kind to us. They were helpful in pointing out how to get the bus around and gave us advice in what to do while we were there. It was like staying with a kind italian aunt and uncle! We were even taken by car to Sorrento one day which was very generous. The best thing was breakfast in the garden where they bought us juice and cold milk specially as we don't really drink tea/coffee. The lady of the house gave us slices of her home-baked cake which was delicious! It's in a very quiet part of piano de sorrento (two towns over from sorrento proper) and on a hill, the views are great. I would definitely recommend staying here for a really quiet and friendly place that's just like staying with family. Thank you so much! Fantastic B&B. We had originally booked for 4 days, but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Wonderful hosts, spotless accommodation, great breakfast, and lovely garden to sit in. Tucked away in tranquil surroundings, within walking distance of restaurants, bus and train station. Our hosts could not do enough for us - very helpful. Wonderful atmosphere, felt like a home away from home. Michele willingly volunteered to drive us to bus stop and even into Sorrento. We felt like we were leaving good friends when it finally came time to leave.

Super warm reception and perfect service provided. We're very impressed by the warm and thoughtful support the Family gave us for our ride, our special request for warm water, and for every thing!

Would benefit from expanded breakfast offering. We could not eat the biscuit/pastry offered at breadfast (only one choice). Most b and b's we stayed at had more than one choice of bread, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, fruit juice. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay.

Maison Titty was fantastic value for money. A quiet and really friendly family-run outfit, offering terrific breakfasts made by Rita including local specialities and marmalade from her own orange trees. All to be enjoyed in a lovely traditional garden.

A very warm welcome. Nice family, very helpfull. the room was very clean, nice, big enogh and very good for a women travell alone. i stayed there for 2 weeks! i really recomend of this nice place and plane to come back!

Une excellente adresse à recommander, rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Chambre et salle de bains très propres, petit déjeuner copieux agrémenté de pâtisseries, accueil très chaleureux et familial, grande gentillesse tout le monde faisant le maximum pour aider, au besoin Michele assurant le transport en voiture vers la gare ou le port. Bien situé pour nous par rapport à l'arrêt de bus ou la gare mais à déconseiller à des personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher car situé en haut d'une petite côte. Langue utilisée: anglais. A proximité: une pizzéria et à Piano une adresse à recommander: le Tre Arcate, pâtes, pizze etc, c'est bon, pas cher et ambiance très locale.

This was a beautiful, charming place to stay. Our accomodations were impeccable and the hospitality was so warm and generous. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place.

Un accoglienza eccellente,i padroni di casa meravigliosi,non potevamo scegliere un posto migliore,la location e eccellente per visitare tutti punti forte della costiera amalfi,napoli,pompei,positano,capri...ecc ecc. La stanza era spaziosa,pulitissima,il bagno ampio e qualitativo,la colazione ottima,posso consigliare questo bed and breakfast ad occhi chiusi e sinceramente posso dire che vale molto di piu addiritura degli alberghi che si trovano in giro da quelle parti.....scegliete tranquillamente questo posto...non ve ne pentirete......Nicoleta e Ross

I had a most wonderful stay at La Maison de Titty, the whole family was ever so friendly, welcoming and helpful in every aspect. The location is excellent for exploring the Amalfi coast and the surrounding area. The room and other areas were tranquil and kept clean, the breakfast delicacies prepared by Rosa were mouthwatering and enough a reason to come back to stay in this charming b&b!Grazie di tutto!

A fabulous place to stay. The family were so Kind and Friendly. The room was kep spotless and the location was quiet with a superb view of the sea framed between lemon trees from the breakfast table on the terrace. I would definitely go back there.

You can't go wrong at La Maison de Titty. This family does everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The attention to detail and little extras they provide make this a great spot for a Sorrentine Peninsula stay.

Wonderful stay with a very kind family. Titty met us from the bus from Rome and her father insisted on giving us lifts to Sorrento. Not sure how late the buses run from Sorrento (2km away) which could be a problem if you want to stay out for a late meal but got shown one excellent restaurant down alleyway by the Church and a good pizzeria with great service within 3 minutes walk. Mama's home cooked breakfasts were outstanding plus oranges picked from the garden.

Very nice room and very helpful owners.We had a big problem with finding them from the train station- indication on the map wasn`t correct. But we called them and Margo found us.They were really worried about that and a gave us a lift to the train station on our trip back.Except for that everything was excellent:)

The staff / family atmosphere and service were simply outstanding. room quality and cleanliness are superb. location is 'ok'....but there is good bus service and local restaurants are available.

It is my best staying in south of Italy !!

Jolie petite maison d'hôte au milieu des citroniers. Une petite maison construite récemment, dans le jardin des propriétaires, uniquement dédiée aux visiteurs. Les chambres sont très bien équipées et très propres. Seul bémol : c'est un peu sombre... d'autant qu'il faut garder en permanence les moustiquaires des fenêtres fermées, sinon, gare aux piqûres ! Le petit déjeuner était très agréable dans le jardin, avec patisseries "maison" tous les matins ! Dans l'ensemble, un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour la région de Sorrento.

Lovely family to stay with, very hospitable, and generous, a little hard to find from the map that venere.com sent with the booking confirmation and our gps was no help, but they came and found us and showed they way. Beautiful breakfasts and tomatoes and marmalade delicious

If you like B&B and you don't want to pay a lot of money for accomodation, this is the best place for you! Traditional italian breakfast with fresh cakes and marmelade. And the most important: Very friendly family!!!

The B&B is located in walking distance to many grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and bus stops, and it's only a short distance, by bus, to the beach. La Maison de Titty (and Marg) is a *very* safe location. The family who runs the B&B is warm and kind and will help make your stay in Piano di Sorrento delightful. The B&B is kept *very* clean. We will return to Piano di Sorrento and La Maison de Titty (and Marg).

What a wonderful stay! Everyone at the B&B made such an effort to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The property is beautiful, and the hosts are warm and generous (breakfast was lovely, too). A great value as well - we'd recommend this to anyone!

The service we received was phenomenal. The breakfast and coffee they made every morning were delicious. It is a little hard to find if you don't map it out or talk to them. But once you find it, it's great. There is at least one great restaurant with in walking distance, and the bus to Sorrento's main Piazza is a 3 minute walk. the rooms are well furnished, and the family that runs the place are exceedingly nice. It's a great choice.
