The room and the bathroom were very fashionably designed. In front of the building (appartments) there is a very busy road with a lot of noise. Our room was at the back of the building. We couldn't hear the busy road, but we could hear the trains passing by. The breakfast is served in the room. It's a tippical Italian breakfast with a piece of pie, crackers and marmalade. It's not ment for the big eater. We enjoyed our stay at Emily Suites, but maybe they can do something about the noise in the appartment (trains, making of breakfast etc).

This is not a hotel, just a bed for rent. Nobody on staff to greet us upon arrival before 5pm, we waited in a dingy lobby of a large apartment building for 1 1/2 hours for clerk to show up to give entry to room. Departure time listed at noon however they asked us to be out by 10:30. They also asked for cash saying their credit card machine wasn't working. AC nonexistent. Breakfast was a cellophane wrapped croissant and espresso. Further from the railway station than stated on web site too. Would not return or recommend.

How to reach Emily Suites Bed and Breakfast
By carComing from Rome, take the highway A3 in the direction of Salerno and take the ‘Castellamare di stabia’ exit. From there follow the directions to ‘Penisola Sorrentina’. After 25km you will find yourself in Corso Italia in Meta di Sorrento. Continue straight without turning and you will find yourselves in Sorrento. Just a few hundred meters along Via Corso Italia from the entrance of the city, on the third floor of number 323 you will find Emily Suites.
By train
From Naples central station (reachable from Rome or Salerno in 90 minutes), it is possible to reach the station of Sorrento in just 70 minutes using the Circumvesuviana train line. The timetable for this train can be found at www.vesuviana.it. Exiting the station you will find yourself at piazza A.Lauro, from here turn right and Just 300 meters down the road, on the third floor of number 323 you will find Emily Suites.
By airplane
The closest airport to Sorrento is the Capodichino airport in Naples approximately 50km from Sorrento. From the airport it is possible to reach the heart of Sorrento in less than 60 minutes using the Curreri bus service. The timetable for this bus service can be found at www.curreriviaggi.it. The bus will drop you off in the heart of Sorrento at Piazza A.Lauro, turning to the right you will find yourself on Via Corso Italia. Just 300 meters down the road, on the third floor of number 323 you will find Emily Suites.
By public transportation
From the port of Naples, molo Beverello, located in Via Marina, it is possible to reach the port of Sorrento in just 35 minutes. The timetable of the ferries can by viewed at www.alilauro.it. Upon arrival at the Port in Sorrento, Emily Suites at 323 Via Corso Italia, can be reached by foot or by the shuttle service ‘Cooperativa Tasso’ in just 10 minutes.
