My friend and I stayed at Casa Rachele for a few days in October. Rachele gave us all the necessary information on transportation, tourist attractions, prices and restaurants. His house is very well located, very central in Piano, and very comfortable and clean. Rachele was very kind to us, a very attentive host. I highly recommend her house. We had a pleasant stay in Piano.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Rachele for a week in August. We were made to feel very welcome. Rachele gave us all the info about restaurants, bus stops, etc. Casa Rachele is very central and near all the bus stops and restaurants. Her home is very clean and nothing is too much trouble for Rachele to keep her guests happy. She is very kind and I would highly recommend her establishment to anybody who goes to Piano Sorrento.

Rachele was lovely. We really felt like we were guests in her home. We were two 26 year olds traveling as friends, so perhaps a bit out of character for the types of guests she is used to receiving. Piano is nice, but you will need a bus or train to get to Sorrento (and the rest of the coast). Piano is a cheaper alternative though, and much more residential.

We stayed in Casa Rachel for four days and it was amazing. Piano is a quiet small city, and very convenient to go to Sorrento and Naples with trains or buses. This is a good place to escape from crowds in high seasons. Rachel is very warm, kind, easy-going and welcome guests from all over the world especially those with Asian background (we are Chinese, and we can feel this strongly). Before our arrival, she kindly provided detailed location information. When we arrived, she provided piles of information on travelling around and food. She also help us wash in the washing machine FOR FREE! All the restaurants she recommended were fantastic! Also she provided breakfast of high-quality. We tasted different kinds of disserts every morning. The house itself deserves compliments. This used to be the first house of Rachel's family in this city and it is full of Rachel's memories. It is clean, spacious, and furnished with good taste. Rachel is willing to share stories about local people and herself. She showed us the photos of her family and talked about her love for her father (now the name card on the door is still her father's name). Her mania for Asia also comes from her father. This is an amazing place and Rachel is an amazing hostess. We will definitely stay in her cozy house again if we come back to South Italy!

Stayed at Casa Rachele 11th-15th August with my daughter. Rachele is very accomodating and more than willing to give you any advice you need. Being my 4th stay in Sorrento i knew the area well and did not need too much guidance but the other guest took full of Rachele's travel advise and some local discounts as a guest of Rachele. The appartment is ideally situated a couple minutes walk to the train station and bus stops so getting around is easy. A most enjoyable stay and a great hostesss. Can thoroughly recommend. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but the aircon was fab and quiet. Will definately return in the future..

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rachele! Everything we read about this lovely B&B was perfectly true! When we arrived at Casa Rachele, Rachele welcomed us and she made us immediately feel at home. She really is a fabulous and fantastic woman! She immediately gave us all the information about her house, the town, everything we could visit, where to eat, ... During our stay, Rachele was always there for us and she helped us in any way she could, she really made our stay! The rooms at Casa Rachele are very beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was also very good. I've stayed at lots of other B&B's in Italy and never was the breakfast very special (I think it's just tipical italian), and so when I came to Casa Rachele, I didn't have a lot of expectations. But the breakfast that I had at Casa Rachele was just perfect! We had lots of choices and everything was sooooo good! Rachele is always there for you, you can ask her anything, she's always glad to help. But at the same time, she respects your privacy and she gives you a lot of freedom: the perfect combination! Thank you so much Rachele for everything! We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rachele!!!

My girlfriend and I visited Italy for ten days in the summer of 2011. We visited six cities during our travels and arrived at Piano di Sorrento for the final 4 nights of our trip. Casa Rachele was the cheapest and cleanest bed and breakfast of all the places we stayed. Rachele was an excellent hostess and made us feel so at home that we almost forgot about our lives back in the States. When we arrived, we were treated to a tour of the entire house, given detailed information about surrounding attractions, and a glass of white wine. Rachele is the most caring woman alive. If you think we are exaggerating I urge you to stay there for yourself. She really catered to us in the mornings with plenty of excellent food for breakfast. Her flat provides an excellent view of the Bay of Naples and surrounding mountains. More importantly, the restaurants nearby served the best food in Italy. Osteria Arcadia and Aglio & Olio both serve top notch food at great prices. Dropping Rachele's name is guaranteed to get you personal attention and maybe a few on-the-house items. The location is ideal for day trips all over the Bay of Naples including Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, and the Amalfi coastline. We can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Rachele. Rachele, if you read this, we miss you already. Thanks again. Sommer and Joey

I feel so fortunate to have found Casa Rachele during my trip planning to Italy! Rachele's house is welcoming and comfortable. As soon as I walked into the door, I knew I was safe and in good hands. My room was spacious, clean, and perfect in every way. As a single traveler, I appreciated all of her helpful advice regarding restaurants, places to visit, bus and train information, and general info about the area. Her breakfasts are excellent and beautiful. My room overlooked the sea. I was a simple five minute walk to the train station, which I took to visit Pompeii (only a 30 min. ride). It is the same train that I took to get to Naples and Sorrento. It circles around the bay of Naples and is called Circumvesuviano because one can see Vesuvius. I enjoyed the smallness of Piano di Sorrento especially having just come from the bustling and crowded city of Roma. I was able to relax, enjoyed swimming at the little beach in Piano, and one day took a trip to Capo di Sorrento where I hiked on the rocks and visited the baths of Queen Giovanna, another recommendation from Rachele. She listens to what you are interested in and then if you want, she will suggest places to see. A wonderful host! I highly recommend Casa Rachele. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Rachele!

Rachele was our favorite hostess in all of Italy! We arrived to a welcome drink followed by countless perfect recommendations to local restaurants where her guests are taken care of! This woman is like the "Godmother" of Sorrento. She knows everyone and everyone knows her. Her warm hospitality will be one of the most unique experiences of your vacation - you will feel like you're visiting family! If you're staying in Sorrento, you will not go wrong here.

Casa Rachele is a wonderful way to experience Italian hospitality at its best. You are very warmly welcomed into Rachele's comfortable home and shown around the whole place like an invited guest. How wonderful it was, she shared her family moments with us. Rachele generously shares her extensive knowledge of the area and is very helpful in her suggestions. Casa Rachele B&B is very well positioned for a great homebase to see all the sites in the Sorrento area. The Train station is a 5 minute walk, the bus stops right outside the door. My husband an I spent 3 amazing nights in Piano di Sorrento at Casa Rachele B&B and will cherish our fond memories of Rachele's kindness and generosity and her friend Nino's, Ristorante Aglio Olio's great food..Grazie Mille

Rachele was a most welcoming hostess and did everything to help us. She gave great instructions for getting to places of interest, and spent time with us to ensure we could follow her directions. Piano is a nice small town, which we enjoyed being in, with easy access to many local places of interest. Bus stops and the train station are all nearby, and the town has many amenities for locals and tourists alike.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Rachele's for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It would be a bargain at twice the price (as it is, it was the least expensive and the most impressive place we stayed at on our trip). Though we were several hours late arriving (watch the traffic if you drive down to Sorrento!), Rachele greeted us warmly and made us coffee right away. We parked at the train station (five minutes walk from the B&B) for five Euros a day - as soon as we told them that we were staying with Rachele the parking attendants smiled and waved us right through. Our room was large, extremely clean and luxuriously appointed. The bathroom was also extremely clean. Since there are only two rooms for rent, you can expect a lot of personal attention from Rachele. She is extremely hands-on and gives you all the information you will need to get wherever you want to go. Best of all, she shares info on Italian customs and culture. Both of the dinner recommendations she gave us were excellent - the best we had in Italy. Piano is a bustling town that runs right into the towns around it - it's more like a neighborhood than an isolated small town. However, it didn't seem like that to us because we knew the right places to go - For instance, Rachele recommended a great grocer, Andreo, to fix our panini for our day trip, and his staff was so kind to us when they heard we knew Rachele. Also, at night the town calms down and you can take a quiet walk through the tiny residential streets. All in all, our stay was wonderful. I would recommend Casa Rachele to absolutely anyone, but especially to people who really like to get to know others in the places where they are visiting.

Rachele was the warmest and nicest person we met in Italy. She did everything as expected and then went well beyond. She was completely organized with tremendous helps on what to see, where to go, what to purchase (type of tickets), and brochures for area attractions. Piano de Sorrento is a great location as well because the train station is not crowded to depart for your destinations. When returning to Italy, if for some reason I do not stay here, I will look her up to say hello.

Rachele was incredibly welcoming. I arrived a bit late, but she was at the door to let me in (4th floor on the right side of the building). Then she let me get settled and ordered a pizza for us to share! She has plenty of information about nearby towns and daytrips, and I found her advice extremely helpful. Her home is clean and welcoming - I absolutely loved my view of the Bay of Naples and the blossoming orange trees. Piano di Sorrento is an excellent base location along the sorrento coast line that is not touristy or loud. You won't see too many other travelers at all, but you have ease of access to trains and buses that leave from Sorrento. A beautiful place that I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Rachele's house and really felt at home. Rachele is very kind and warm hearted, she will do anything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Since she lives in the house it does not feel like a hotel but more like a family home which creates a personal atmosphere. The rooms are nice and quiet and the bed very comfortable. Wonderful view of orange trees and the sea. The breakfast is traditionally Italian with sweet cake and home made jam. The coffee is delicious. Thank you for the nice stay, Rachele and we will come back.

One of the most hospitable hostesses in the world: even if we arrived late at night, she waited patiently. She invited us to degustate local wine, coffee, tea; gave us proposition of travel planning with a lot of plan in Sorrento, introduced the local restaurant… I can say this is one of the lost beautiful hostels with the luxurious decoration that I have ever seen: marble floor, delicate furniture, very big room, comfortable bed, one room face to mountain and the other face to sea. If you are luck enough like us, you can choose which room you want when all the two rooms are available and use the toilette to yourself. The breakfast is good with the hostesse’s own made dessert and jam. Good quality/prix!

I had a wonderful time during my 5 days with Rachele. After reading all of the amazing reviews I was worried that they were almost too good to be true and not real, but rest assured they are all true. The Italian breakfast was delicious and Rachele provided some special regional treats. She could not only tell me how to get everywhere and what ticket to buy, she also had an example of any ticket I would need so I knew just what to ask for. She is as helpful and willing to chat as you would like, but gives you space if you'd prefer. I would absolutely return here and I would recommend it to anyone going to the area if you like the feel of a Bed & Breakfast.

My wife and I recently took a trip to the Sorrento area for our christmas vacation. We stayed with Rachele and because of her warm, welcoming environment and vast knowledge of the area, we had a truely authentic and traditional Italian holiday season. The first day we arrived she came to our car and directed us where we could park for our stay(which is right at the train station). We walked only 5 minutes to her place right in the Heart of Piano Di Sorrento. Inside her place is very charming and absolutely spotless clean. She prides herself on the cleanliness, and rightfully so. Beautiful marble floors and bedrooms with amazing views of either the Bay of Naple or the streets of piano di sorrento. She even had handmade sheets for us to increase the plush feel of our stay. She introduced us to Nino, a friend and owner of Aglio Olio. Nino's food is the best and prices are very reasonable. We ate there every night. He opened his place to only us and his friends and family on christmas eve and day(normally closed on those days) and made us a traditional christmas feast and we all stayed there till midnight laughing, learning and ultimately making lifetime friendships(Rachele was there as well)His own wine is delicious too. Rachele gave us a ton of information on where to eat, what to do, and the best way to get to those destinations. She even called ahead for us to a few places and also walked us down to the train station to make sure we got the right tickets. Her love of her guests truely shows the moment you meet her. We feel we have made true friends in italy for life thanks to Rachele. The only way you will get to have the best experience in italy is if you stay with Rachele, i am convinced of the this. The location is very convenient too, pompeii, amalfi, positano, ravello, sorrento, its all a train or bus ride away and she has all the information written down for these and more. I will post pictures soon of the truely amazing vacation we had at Casa Rachele.

Rachele is a gem to tourism in the Sorrento region. Firstly all email correspondence was prompt and helpful and instructions to arrive from the station were accurate. From the moment i arrived and was offerd a coffee, it was like staying with family but without the hang ups. Rachele passed on local knowledge regarding sights, restaurants etc and provided a map and brochures. No need to visit the tourist office. I was shown to the "small" room with the sea view. It was very comfortable and I had one of the best sleeps of my trip. A cable is provided for internet and the shared bathroom was spotlessly clean (in fact everything was). Rachele takes great pride in her place and it shows. There is a sitting area as well. Breakfast is nicely done, traditional Italian and Rachele will spoil you with little treats from the area. Piano is quieter than Sorrento and while this may not suit everyones taste, I loved it. The station is 7 or 8 mins walk away and the train only takes 5 minutes to Sorrento. Tried one restaurant in Piano and it was a gem, just across the road from Casa Rachele. If you want a quiet, safe area and feel like you are more than a guest, this is the place for you.

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Casa Rachele. It's like as if you are visiting your aunt's place. She welcomes Asian travelers and provides a lot of information on getting around the area. If you tell her where you are planning to visit, she'll tell you everything she can to help you. We visited Sorrento, Ravello, Amalfi and Pompei. Her place was spotless and I loved the linens, bed sheets and pillow case covers. She provides good quality linens, the kind that you’d use at your own home. I’m picky about pillow covers, so I usually cover it with a towel, but at Casa Rachele, I had such a comfortable stay with the bedding. Clean but no smell of bleach. Breakfast was also nice. We had toast bread, cake, and chocolate filled croissants. She also gave us a lemon (my husband was admiring all those lemon trees in the area) and orange. Piano di Sorrento is two metro stops away from Sorrento. The metro ride takes only a few minutes but it’s not as frequent as I had expected. Piano di Sorrento also has little harbour which was nice to visit.

If you have a very sweet tooth for breakfeast, then the breakfeast included is golden for you; if you need protein, you're SOL if you are the type of person who needs their privacy, you're also SOL if you want to stay with a traditional Italian woman who will make you feel like you are staying with relatives, you'll be happy here You might want to tread lightly because your tracks will be noticed- especially if you're tracks are dirty because the house is spotless! A wonderful home with a sentimental environment; Rachele's B&B used to be her family house and she takes care of it well in loving memory of her father Rachele is very generous- in terms of letting you use her phone and internet, and giving you information- the latter which can be overwhelming if you don't slow her down a bit The location is basically perfect- Piano di Sorrento is a lovely town, with lovely people and it's nice to be away from the tourists in Sorrento

What an amazing place to stay! We were greeted by Rachele on arrival with cups of her fabulous coffee. She spent a good hour with us, giving us brochures of places to visit, travel advice, and detailed handwritten walking tours of places of interest. We had arrived without our suitcases (!), but Rachele could not do enough for us, lending us toilettries and allowing us unrestricted access to her computer so we could check with the airport regularly. Rachele invites you to share her home with her, and you really do feel like a member of the family. She keeps the place absolutely spotlessly clean, and the rooms themselves are spacious and beautifully furnished. There is a pleasant communal sitting area with a TV and radio. Breakfast was a real treat, with cups of Rachele's delicious coffee and a different local delicacy every day that Rachele buys fresh in the mornings from a local bakery. The shared bathroom was never really an issue, as you only share with one other couple. The highlight for me was the occassions when we were in the apartment in the afternoons and Rachele offered us her company - and more coffee! She is absolutely charming, and we were honoured to learn something about her life and to be showed her family photos. This is not a hotel, it is a home, and you need to be aware of it, but it makes for an absolutely unforgettable stay. Piano is a lovely little town, with a variety of restaurants (Rachele will give you cards for the best ones, and production of these on arrival ensures VIP treatment!!!) and bars and plenty of shops. There is a small beach and a pretty, though very small, harbour area. It's not Sorrento by a long shot, but for us it was nicer, quietly bustling. There are other small towns such as Meta and St Agnello within walking distance, and Sorrento is a quick bus or train ride away. Piano's location of the main train line is ideal for exploring the area as well.

Rachele goes the extra mile. She goes out of her way to assist as much as possible and make your stay as easy as possible. We had our on traveling book but didn't need it in Sorrento because Rachele had better information that we didn't know about. The room is nice and quiet. It's not in Sorrento but it's a short walk to the bus or train. The breakfast could maybe have a bit more variety but in comparison to what you get for the price it's fantastic. Thanks Rachele!

I very much enjoyed my stay. Rachele was terrific and welcoming. Her home is nice, spacious, and peaceful. I actually preferred Piano di Sorrento (5-minute train ride from Sorrento proper) from Sorrento itself. Less touristy and small. Rachele referred me to a delicious and economical place for dinner in the town's square where I had a wonderful plate of gnocchi. She also prepared a really good almond drink when I arrived, hot and sweaty in July. In addition, I was given all the information about the attractions and bus/train logistics, such as what kind of train ticket to get, maps of the sites, etc. So easy. Living in Rachele's Italian home was a great part of my 5-week vacation in Europe. Memorable and I look forward to going back next time I visit Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Just finished a trip to Italy with my boyfriend, which ended with 3 nights at B&B Casa Rachele in Piano di Sorrento and we couldn't be happier with the stay. From Naples, Piano di Sorrento is about 1 hour on the Circumvesuviana train and very cheap (€2.90). From the Piano train station, Casa Rachele is a short walk (about 3 blocks) and a quick look on Google maps and street view should give you good indication of how to get there. From the start Rachele was a very enthusiastic hostess, who loves having visitors from all over the world. We arrived quite late (20:00) after a day in Pompeii and she was waiting to greet us in the stair well. We immediately began going over options for trips to Capri and the Amalfi Coast for the following days. She provided us with booklets, timetables, example tickets for buses and trains and a cool and refreshing drink while we sat and talked. She recommended several restaurants (2 of which we tried and were great!) that were very close by. There is also a grocer and pharmacy just across the street. The B&B is an old family home and it feels like one, it’s fantastic. The place is very clean, with nice furniture; large wardrobes, plenty of mirrors and a big comfy bed. A single shared guest bathroom (Rachele has her own) is no problem as there are only 2 guest rooms. We only met other guests a couple of times as everyone was so busy enjoying the sights. Breakfast can be served early so you can get on your way and it consists of sweet Italian pastries, sweet bread and home made jams, juice and freshly brewed coffee. Rachele is very keen for you to try to local produce and the specialties of the area, which we did more than willingly! I would highly recommend B&B Casa Rachele for singles or couples, looking for affordable accommodation just outside of touristy Sorrento, with everything the area has to offer easily on hand. Rachele will do everything she can to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Rachele was a fabulous host! She simply could not do enough for us. I emailed her ahead of our trip indicating a particular hike I was interested in doing and she researched which buses we should take, the schedules and where to find hiking maps! Her house is beautiful and the air conditioning in our room was welcome considering the heat. Rachele is meticulously clean and kindly ensured that the shared bathroom was clean in-between her different guests using it. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Rachele!

Casa Rachele B&B is located in Piano Di Sorrento. The bus stop and train station are in close proximity to the B&B, making it very easy to travel into the heart of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso, and other attractions in the region (ie Pompei, Amalfi, etc). We enjoyed the 30 minute walk into Sorrento each day. Rachele made my partner and I feel very welcome in her home. Rachele knows a lot about the area and when out of her way to help us navigate Sorrento. We stayed in the larger room, which was big and airy, and the aircon kept us cool in the hot Sorrento summer. We also saw the smaller room which has a nice view of the sea. Rachele cleans the guest bedrooms and bathroom daily and the B&B is always spotless. Breakfast was generous and consisted of bread and a variety of home made jams, cakes and coffee and juice. We highly recommend you stay here during your visit to Sorrento. You won't be disapointed!

Rachele was a most welcoming, warm, and enchanting hostess. This is her home, and she made us feel like invited guests. She provided special treats for us at breakfast, went personally to local restaurants to make sure we were well treated, helped us negotiate mass transportation, and was full of helpful suggestions for places to go, things to see, and where to shop. We loved our trip to the Sorrentine peninsula, and much of it was due to Rachele. The best value on Venere. Plus, if you want to make a delightful new friend, stay with Rachele!

It is centrally located near all forms of transport. Local eateries authentic italian food at cheaper prices than central sorrento which is only 4 mins away. The rooms were beautiful--Rachele was an amazing hostess, providing us with all of the information we could possibly need, and she really made us feel at home. She serves an excellent breakfast each morning with homemade preserves and carefully made cappucinos. (also her espresso is the best I have ever had). She made the stay amazing.--Gracie, American Student

Staying here is like being a personal guest of Rachele. The accommodation is spotless and with beautiful furniture and decorations. Rachele is an attentive host, keen to make sure her guests have as good a time as possible. She provides lots of information about the area and asks for feedback to help her future guests. If she finds you want something different from usual for breakfast, she will provide it (within reason). Casa Rachele is on the 4th floor but there is a lift. It is very convenient for the bus and the Circumvesuviana station (5 minutes without luggage). Rachele ensured we had a very pleasant week in the Sorrento peninsula.

Casa Rachele is the place to have a B&B stay in Piano di Sorrento. Rachelle is an uber friendly hostess who will provide the traveller with lots of helpfull advices and tons of attention for personal detail. We came by car and had no trouble finding a suitable parking space with Rachelle's help, while we used the nearby trainstation for further site seeing. Piano di Sorrento moreover benefits from more local original charm vs nearby (more touristic and expesive) Sorrento. We highly recommended this B&B.

Casa Rachele was a very good place to use as a base for visiting the Sorrento and Amalfi region. It is located centrally in the pleasant old heart of Piano di Sorrento a very easy walk from the train station. It was spotlessly clean and very good value but the best part was Rachele herself. Rachele could not be more friendly generous and helpful. She made excellent recommendations as to transport to Sorrento and to the Amalfi coast and recommended great local restaurants.

We loved our stay here! Rachele went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were happy and comfortable. It was like visiting a friend, because we felt truly welcomed in her home. The location is perfect too: just outside the heart of Sorrento, everything costs a little bit less. To get to the train was only a few minutes' walk. Rachele gives everyone tons of helpful information on places to visit, the bus and train schedules... We loved it here and would definitely return! Thanks Rachele, we still think of you!

Rachele was very warm, welcoming, and most hospitable during our 4 night stay. I would highly recommend Casa Rachele to any and everyone!! She takes great pride in her self-run B & B and gives 110% to all of her guests. She went above and beyond to supply us with everything we needed- She made us feel right at home, and was generous in providing ample information on sights, transportation, dining, etc. The train station was 5 minutes away, and the bus stop for the Amalfi Coast was a few blocks down. Rachele was kind enough to walk us down and make sure that we found our way. Everything is very clean, and the room and bathroom we had was incredibly spacious. There is a lift, and the building is very secure (not that you need to worry about safety in Piano). Thank you again Rachele for everything!! We hope that you have many more wonderful guests coming your way!!

Casa Rachele was exactly what I needed after traveling through 6 cities and 3 countries within three weeks. As soon as I walked into Rachele’s home I felt so relieved to have such a comfortable, clean, safe and cozy place to stay. I was traveling solo and Rachele made me feel like I was visiting a relative. She really made me feel right at home; I had my privacy when I needed it and had the most delightful company whenever I wanted it. Rachele takes pride in treating her guests to a lovely breakfast, giving great advice on affordable and delicious dining for the budget traveler like me, and sharing insider tips on getting the best deals when traveling to the neighboring cities. Casa Rachele also offered free internet access all day which was very convenient. All in all, this was my best stay in Europe; I even extended my stay there! I have never met anyone with such a big heart like Rachele. Thank you. Bacio!

Casa Rachele was great! We stayed here for our trip to the Amalfi Coast, but it is in close proximity to everything the area has to offer: Pompeii, Amalfi, Sorrento. I was also really happy with the actual town of Piano de Sorrento. The area was really fun, and much cheaper than Sorrento, which is only 4 minutes away by train. Great host, great stay, very highly reccomend.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rachele! We have stayed at a number of Bed and Breakfasts in Europe and nothing compared to the level of service we received from Lina. It was a unique and special experience. She welcomed us into her home and prepared a delicious authentic Italian Breakfast each morning. Its one thing to have a pre-packaged dry piece of bread like many B&B will leave for you. It is quite another to have an antique china set laid out for you with fresh flowers, tea, biscuits and home made jam every morning. Lina takes special care to let her guests experience traditional Italian foods and drinks to get a true taste of the region. The room was larger than most and everything in the apartment was spotless. Internet access was convenient to have even when you also have a built in tour guide in Lina, with her knowledge of the surrounding are and its attractions. She gave us information for great restaurants and tourist attractions with handwritten directions and advice. She even walked with Jen to help her find an out of the way place for a massage! Every place we went all we had to say was that Lina sent us and peoples faces would lite up and we would get the best service with the best price! Lina was always looking for feedback on her guests experiences so she can offer a better service for future guests. It is truly rare to find someone these days who takes such pride in her work, sharing her home and her little piece of Italy with her guests. Public transportation is easy to use and can get you anywhere you want on the Amalfi Coast. We took a bus ride along the coast which was an unforgettable experience with beautiful views and a few air raising turns on the narrow roads! Thanks for everything Lina!

If you are planning a trip to Pompeii, Capri, and/or the Amalfi Coast, this is where you should stay. Be sure to also spend some time in Sorrento, it is beautiful and there is great shopping. Safe and immaculate, Rachele's home is in a great location for exploring these areas. Rachele is welcoming and will go out of her way to ensure that your visit is a good one...complete with touring tips and public transportation information that will save you a lot of time planning. She puts her whole heart and soul into running her B&B and it shows!

Rachele is very helpful. She adviced us to find the right places to visit, with the good prices. Before your stay, inform Rachele wich room you'll prefer. She rents two rooms, with a commune bathroom. One relatively big room, calm, with a wide view, city and sea. One bigger, on the street side (not very noisy). Very good place to travel arround, by car or by public transportation. Very good and cheap restaurant offering traditionnal Italian food nearby.

Casa Rachele is benissimo!!! The minute we arrived in Piano di Sorrento Rachele opened her home to us. We walked in and she had lots of information on the points of interest that we could visit e.g. Pompei, the Almalfi coast, Sorrento and bus and train schedules. She also shared with us local foods and drinks of Sorento and gave additional recommendations that you wouldn't know as a traveler/tourist. Because this was our first trip to Italy this was extremely helpful and saved us a lot of time trying to find the information ourselves and made our trip even better. It was also very helpful to have access to a computer/internet during our visit as well. Rachele always kept things very clean for her guests and was always very friendly. If we had any questions about anything she was always available. We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Rachele.

We have been traveling around europe for 5 months, staying in countless hotels, and we can say that Rachelles Bed and Breakfast has been the best place by far! The room was huge, with a very comfortable bed, in a beautiful setting. Her apartment is very clean and quiet. Rachelle made us feel at home and is very knowlegable about the area and gave us good advice on what to see and do. She even walked us to the train station on our second morning. Every morning she prepared a delicious Italian breakfast with coffee. We definitely recommend you stay with Rachelle if you want to experience Sorrento and Italy from a beautiful apartment with a lovely host and for a great price!

Casa Rachele is an excellent accommodating and clean B&B. Rachele is a very kind, warm and friendly woman. The information, maps and tips she gave us were very helpful, saved us a lot of time and money. The B&B is in good location, close to all needed facilities and sights are very convenient exactly as declared in the B&B site. Rachelle made us feel at home, surprised us with good local drinks and cookies, even made each gust his favorite coffee. Hanna & Aharon Israel

This was the first time we stayed at Casa Rachele. We arrived and were greeted graciously by Rachele. Rachele was very helpful with all our needs. She even walked us to a local store so we could get some things we needed. The location was close to buses and trains that we rely on for all our travels. When we return to the Sorrento area, we will plan to stay with Rachele! She even taught Cheryl how to make coffee. :-)

Rachele was warm and extremely helpful. I provided her our ideas of what we would like to do, when we arrived she had maps, bus/train schedules, pamphlets and a cup of coffee. We found the restaurant she suggested was affordable and provided us some of the best food of our trip. Her home is an easy walk to the train station and Piano di Sorrento allowed us to experience the culture, not a typical tourist town. She adjusted the sparse Italian breakfast so each morning we had a special treat. We enjoyed our stay!

We've been in apartments for 5 days and find them very comfortable. We were alone ( no neighbours) so we had a private (not shared) bathroom that was just perfect! There are a lot of shops nearby as well as means of transport (bus/train). 15 minutes walking to the beach Piano( not a very good one) and 7-10 min by bus to the good one (Meta).
