Bed and Breakfast Casa Correale - Sorrento

Rooms were immaculate. Shower was very small but adequate. Breakfast was very nice and well served. The gentleman owner spoke some English and was quite helpful. He made reservations for us at the restaurant that is also owned by Casa Correale and dinner was very good with an ocean view. Casa Correale provides off street parking in the orange groves which was very convenient. They are centrally located and everything is within walking distance.

When we arrived after several attempts to find the B&B from the directions given, the gate was locked and no-one responded to the bell. fortunately a doorman from a building across the street noticed us and called the owner. We waited a couple of hours to be let in by an employee who showed us our room which was not at all what was published. It was on ground level with no window; dark, small and uninviting. Also, there was no wi-fi as we were led to believe. We requested to see the owner and once he finally showed up, we asked for a cancellation of our reservation and return of our deposit. He did have another, better situated room with wi-fi and a window that opened, so we accepted that one which was only available for 2 nights instead of the 3 we had booked. We had to scrounge to find a room for our third night. All in all, it was a nightmare experience, requiring us to haul our bags all over Sorrentino for what seemed like a hundred miles of walking. We are in our 70s, healthy and fit, except arthritis in my husband's ankle from a former injury,caused him severe pain for days after. I would be very reluctant to recommend this B & B even tho our 2 nights in the better room were okay.

Cassa Correale was a homely and relaxing place to stay. We had a great holiday and this provided an excellent base for us to explore Sorrento and the surrounding places of interest.

We arrived in the evening to the sweet smell of the orange and lemon groves and woke to the birds singing - beautifull... The wonderfull Serena booked us in and spent time chatting and orientating us, we felt very welcome. The staff/family were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The family owned/run restaurant in the harbour served gorgeous food and we were made to feel like VIP's. We will return, most definately! Wonderfully tranquil spot close to the hubub of Sorrento - perfect.

Our stay was very pleasant. This is a great spot in Sorrento - close to the train and bus station as well as the main square and restaurants. We had a very spacious room with a comfortable bed and high ceilings. The staff was very responsive when the heater shut down; even though no one was there at the moment they came back on site to repair it. Breakfast was fine but the coffee could be better.

I stayed in the room " Sorrento", it is spacious and very clean. The b&b is a charming house with a garden. The house is about 10 mn walk to the marina, 5mn walk from the main center with lots of good restaurants. The host Serena was very kind and helpfull in giving us information. I highly recommend Casa Correale to people who want to enjoy a charming stay outside of the traditional hotel choice.

Staying at the Bed & Breakfast Casa Correale was a wonderful experience from our arrival at the Marina Piccola, where Serena kindly picked us up at her father's restaurant and took us to the B&B to our last wonderful meal at La Kambusa. The breakfasts consisted of cappuccino, pastries and yogurt and were delicious. The B&B offers a discount at their restaurant at Marina Piccola, La Kambusa so we decided to try it our first night. The food was so great that we ended up eating there every night and were treated warmly by our host, Carmine. It was a short walk to get to anywhere in Sorrento and then we had the nice experience of walking through the private gate to the B&B and to the lemon grove on the grounds of the B&B property. It was a little haven in the middle of a busy tourist town.

The location was amazing, set in lemon orchard grounds in the middle of Sorrento with approx 10 rooms the place was very intimate and we got to meet the other guests staying their, who became our friends. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Friendly service (Serena fantasic)nothing too much trouble. The location perfect for town centre (no hills). Great value for money.

Operator is a lovely young woman who is very caring and concerned. Walking from the train station is not a problem, unless you have large bags. Cabs wanted 15 Euros to go this short distance. Breakfast 8-10.

Giardino dei Limoni is an happy opportunity for know Sorrento and Isle Capri with the price and quality very good, with an big room and an great attendence pravity. The Hostel is clean and is an good place, near the donwtown and the port for Capri. I recomend and the proprietor is very much courteous.

The room is very comfortable,spacious and very clean. The host is very friendly, I'll also choose to stay here next time.

The room was beautiful, and the location was great. The only problem was that there was a long wait for someone to let me into my room when I arrived. Once they arrived, everythng was perfect.

Excellent B&B. Located near the center of town, quiet, air conditioning, ample breakfast, very friendly service, good price. Would definately recommend for a budget traveler.

The place is definitely a fantastic place to stay. People were kind and very helpfull. Capri is near and Vesuvio, as well as Pompei and Herculanum for people who are interested in history. Transportation is near the Town House Suite as the boats for Capri.
