The B & B was the best of our experiences in Italy. Tonino and Anna were helpful and hard working. A delightful couple. I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to sorrento area. A bit off from the center of town, but once you learn the system it was not an issue. A great experience!!!!!!!!!!

Everything was excellent from the room to the views to the helpfulness of Tonino and Anna who went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The rooms were very spacious, apartment size with a great view overlooking the marina, beautiful sunsets. The food in their reatauraunt was 5 star at very good prices.Special thanks to Tonino and Anna who run a very good family business. Definitely will return and very highly recommended for value and price. Very close to Sorrento and private boat ride to Capri is meters away from your room which is a must do! All in all very memorable and excellent value.

We enjoyed our stay at L'Approdo. The room was spacious and extremely clean. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed dinner in their restaurant every night. Tonnino's wife is a great cook. We would recommend that some fresh fruit and perhaps yogurt be served at breakfastand an extra coffee. Breakfast was the only disappointment with our stay here.

Beautifully set on the water, but it is a hike down (and later, up!). We were here in winter so the restaurant part was not open, but the owner was still very nice and served us breakfast though we were the only ones there. Cash only. Beautiful in the morning to walk along the water with all the boats, and a great view of Mt. Vesuvius. Will stay again!

A really nice place, very helpful staff and a much nicer location that Sorrento itself. A lot of locals and few tourists.

A bit out of the way, about 10 minute drive to Sorrento... or 2 bus rides. L'Approdo is at the marina, down a very steep hill (5 switchbacks with very sharp turns). One bus goes up to the top and into Piano, or down from Piano to the marina... but only runs once per hour. When we first got there we thought we should move closer to Sorrento, for easier access to the busses and trains, but as it turned out, we are glad we stayed there. Rooms (#1) are large, air conditioner worked better than any unit we encountered in all of Italy. Rates are a bargain. If you don't mind being a few minutes away from the city of Sorrento, check them out. Parking 2 minutes away at only 5 euro per day...

Excellent location! If arriving by car, be prepared to make some tricky turns in narrow streets, but it's a fun experience in the end :)

The B&B was right on the beach, our room had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the port. The couple was adorable and food was great as well!! Loved it, completely. The only thing I could say was that we stayed next to the kitchen so it got a bit noisy by the time we went to bed.

Very friendly staff, they daily clean the apartment and change the towels. The location is excellent (the beach is about 50 m), you have to climb a bit if u want the get in the village, but it can be easily done. The breakfast is always the same, but tasty. Summary I recommend it thoes who interested in local people, and do not like the crowed, noisy, full of tourist places. Thank you again, it was a very pleasant stay!

The friendliness and service at L'Approdo was excellent. We enjoyed our time in the small and quiet marina immensely and want to thank Teresa and Antonio for making our stay so pleasant and for helping us choose destinations. We could easily walk down the slope from Piano di Sorrento in 10 minutes.

I suggest to add additional heaters in the bathroom and living room (the one in the bedroom was not enough)......on January it was a little cold!

L'Approdo - Piano di Sorrento Finding this hotel is made easy by the signs posted on the road coming into town. I must say experiecing the final portion getting to the hotel is interesting to say the least. When you arrive you will find the hotel located down at the beach/marina area of Piano di Sorrento. The location is very nice, and scenic. We were here off season and so the crowds weren’t here. Our apartment was clean and well furnished. While there is a kitchen it was not usable since this is a bed and breakfast and the owner is not permitted to allow cooking. There is a refrigerator that we were allowed to use. The room came with an Italian breakfast. The owner was very accommodating. The hotel does not have WIFI but the owner allowed me to use his computer and internet connection.

Very nice place if you want to stay a "local" place without many tourists. The hotel is placed in a small harbour "below" the center of Sorrento. To go to "downtown" took 15 min. by car.

A unique, beautiful setting in a working fishing village below the town. Access is by a very steep road down the cliff from the town. I loved it here, but travellers must be fit to climb up to the town and have earplugs for the early morning activity. Owner runs an excellent restaurant downstairs, so I was left alone in a lovely apartment, just arrived for breakfast in the restaurant. I felt more like a resident than a hotel guest. Not for everyone, but great for me. Initial problem with finding it and they didn't have my reservation (this was remedied very quickly)

We stayed in this lovely place with wonderful people over Easter. Having been robbed elswhere the day we arrived they could not do enough for us including phone calls etc and finding garages. The rest of the village also took us under their wing! The drive down is interesting to say the least! After 5 days we was getting quite adept! This apartment is one we wouldl happily come back to and is a great base to see Sorrento and the surrounding area. Great meals as well. Thanks especially to Tonino and Vincezo.(and Paula at the shop)

L'Approdo is a little gem in Piano de Sorrento. The warm welcome from the owner Antonio and the enthusiasm and great service from Vincent in the restaurant made it a great holiday stay for us. The best food we have eaten in Italy. Be warned it is a great climb up and down to the beach to access L'Approdo, but we are in our 50's and managed it o.k. During the holiday season there is a local bus to take you up and down. Piano is only 2 stops by train from Sorrento, a great place to stay.

The apartment was cold (due to the weather at Christmas) and noisy due to the traffic on the road outside the window. No sea view and very basic furnishings.
