Nice central localisation which means also a bit of street noises. Room spaciuos with comfortable bed and comfortable bathroom, possibility to use wifi or the computer in the office if you do not have yours. It may get a it overcrowded at the breakfast table - since the breakfast is really good, you spend there some time and other guests arriving later may not find the place.

Very good wellcoming, the owner is very nice and has perfect knowledge of the sites and cities in the area. Possible improvement in some services with small efforts which would raise the Globtrotter at the top.

A friendly place to stay in Siracusa, uncomplicated and goog worth for your money. Wonderful the quick wellcoming-tour provided by profecional guide and receptionist Leticia who knows her town very well and has lots of advices to make your stay great. The only drawback is the noise of old Siracusa's streets that penetrates the walls of the centrally situated hotel. And downtown can be quite noisy.

Our stay in Siracusa was only 1 night-we had a great time. The b & b was great, spoke with the owners about places to visit, sites to see, things to do, they were very helpful. The room was cute, very private. There is plenty to see in this city and i only wish we had stayed longer.

Good location in the picturesque old city. Very helpful staff make up for the limited breakfast and shared space. A great place to stay. Take any of the little white city buses to travel free to and from the bus and train stations - drivers are very helpful.

This b&b is well worth the price. The staff is very helpful and the room had a nice balcony. The location was perfect, but a bit difficult with the car because of parking, but once I found the public parking facility (1€/day) it was fine. Also there was wifi. I would stay again for sure.

Good central location. Breakfast informal but hostel feel (if this is your thing). Parking a problem as only limited parking areas in Ortigia.

Excellent location in the centre of Ortigia, a nice room with a large balcony, many local restaurants at the doorstep, very helpful and friendly staff, free Internet access was a definite plus. A slight drawback was breakfast which was a bit chaotic and not really sufficient.

I was traveling around Italy for 3 weeks (my boyfriend met me halfway) and this was by far my (and our) favorite place to stay. The B&B is spacious and airy, beautifully decorated. We had a large double room with our own private bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the main street in Ortiega. The young lady staff member was so nice and helpful! She made us cappucinos and gave us maps and greeted us every morning to see how our stay had been. She was wonderful! We received a complimentary breakfast from a cafe down the street and the food was amazing. We were expecting one tiny pastry each (like some places offer) and one tiny espresso, but the breakfast food was large and always fresh. The only thing missing from our stay was complimentary shampoo in the bathroom. We needed to go get our own. But that was so minor, compared to the wonderful clean accommodations and warm welcoming service. We thought it was underpriced for the magnificent time we had in Siracusa. A few more perks were that we had free internet, fresh juice in a fridge in the main room, and were just a short walk away from the coast and main attractions. Matt and I hope to go back as soon as possible! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

The best accommodation that Syracuse offers! When abroad in Sicily and more specifically in Syracuse, I frequently stay in bed and breakfasts as low cost accommodation and I must admit that B&B Globetrotter is definitely the best when it comes to value, the location in the historical center of Catania and the staff that welcomed us. It has a very international feel about it, all the members of staff speak multiple languages and they will make you feel perfectly at home in a foreign country! Here you will find the basics of a hostel but the services of a hotel, in the heart of Syracuse’s city actually Ortigia the island, aswell as a number of holiday homes, independent apartments and rooms within a communal house. The services available are of very high standards. The breakfast is of excellent quality, the room-service impeccable, and not only is there free Wi-Fi in all rooms, there is also an internet point at your disposition. The B&B also organises excursions up Etna volcano. Noone could complain about Syracuse’s gastronomy because touristic restaurants practically don’t exist and the people of Syracuse have high expectations themselves. You can also go to the historical fish market, buy some of the local fresh delicacies and cook them at the hostel with the eager guidance of the staff who would be more than happy to share some handy tips.
