The Piccolo Chianti is located on busy roads with limited walking access. Luckily its by a VERY good restaurant (Nonnanna's - great prices too). Driving into Sienna is tricky but driving up into the Chianti region is fairly easy. The rooms are a good size and very quiet. Breakfast is a very good Italian breakfast with lots of choices. We would stay here again.

We had two rooms in this hotel(B&B). Both were very large, clean and well decorated. The bathrooms were extra clean and modern. The showers are small per tradition of Italy hotels. The hotel has a nice garden. Breakfasts were just fine and offered in a nice spacious dining room. A family manages this B&B. They are always available to help. When my children were sitting in the garden, late in the afternoon, the staff brought them fruites, cookies and drink. English skills are adequate. We took bus to the center of Siena. We drove to San Gimignano (~35km). Accidentally, GPS took us to Colle di Val d'Elsa which turned out to be a better deal (and less tourist) than San Gimignano! Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. It was only difficult to find the hotel because the map is not indicating to leave for Siena Nord. It took us about 1 hour running to find the hotel, but otherwise everything was wonderful!

The Piccolo Chianti staff was generous, welcoming and very friendly. They have helped us feel at home the second we walked in. THey've offered us quite a few extra hands and it truly felt like being part of the family. The location is right outside the city, but a bus takes you straight from the hotel to the city center in about 20min if I recall correctly. It is a fairly priced, homey hotel. Would certainly recommend and return myself. Grazie mille a tutti del Piccolo Chianti..

It was difficult to find the hotel cause the direction was not recognised by the gps. We had to call the hotel to get a more precise adress. But the welcoming was nice, we had free bottle of water. We had breakfast in the terrasse outside. Breakfast was very nice with different food types.

A beautiful B/B with many personal homey touches. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Very comfortable and spacious room/bath. Easy to take the bus into Siena. A car is probably best for staying at this property. Would be difficult unless you didn't mind taking a taxi to get there if you have luggage, etc.

Our stay at Piccolo Chianti was excellent for the price. The service is great, the owner sandra is absolutely beautiful and you will feel very well taken care of. Just like home! We had a noisy room facing the street but it didn't turn out to be so bad because we were out all day and came back late at night when there was no noise at all. Breakfast is extremely good to start your day and if you are planning to tour the whole area then you will find that you are in the perfect location for it. I would definitely come back here!

We had a quadruple room, nice and clean with a great bathroom. The employees were very nice. Great breakfast. Near a road with a lot of traffic but we were not bothered when the bedroom windows were closed (there is air conditioning). Free parking very convenient. You can reach the city center by car, by bus (line 4 then 5) or by foot (only 2km but sometimes no sidewalks so it's not very safe).

Position very convenient to reach Siena Center (I parked the car at the rail station parking which has a very low price). Very good breakfast in a family type environment.

This was a great location to stay..just a short drive to the San Francisco parking garage near the gate to Sienna, near to autostrada to get to surrounding Tuscan towns.Staff were very friendly, rooms very nice and comfortable. Breakfast typical for Italy, had fresh croissants every day, yogurt, some fruit and of course, cappicino/coffee. The only downside is it is on a very busy traffic circle,so is quite noisy at night. However,if it is hot enough for the air conditioning, it might drown out some of the noise. With earplugs, it wouldn't bother you at all. I also had my small dog with me and they were very welcoming of her.
